My parents get coffee beans from here and we enjoy lattes every morning. High quality beans and a very delicious product. My father tells me the store is very nice and the service is excellent. Only sad thing is my father tells me they are closing their business on March 28, 2026. Very sad news. They will be missed. I remember 3yrs ago i was desperate for some iced coffee after Xmas day & wow, i must say it was meant for me to find it on this exact day. I pick up morning coffee almost daily, some of people has come and gone but overall friendly staff. My iced Caramel macchiato NEVER fails me. Sooooo good. Tchin Tchin really is the best. I've been coming here since they first started opening. It's owned and operated by two couples who are friends and local to Buford. My triathlon buddies and I stage in their parking lot nearly every Saturday to ride and run for training. Thinking of getting a coffee at the end is one of the only things that gets me through the running. They always let us park in their lot starting at like 4am and 5am. They never complain. The people who work there are super friendly, and best of all the coffee is amazing. I recommend the Greek Freddo which is an iced drink if it is hot, and the campfire latte in the winter. My only wish is they would change their Saturday opening time back to 7am. read more

Parking was awful. Even trying to park across the street was dangerous. Summer Hibiscus drink was delicious. The other cold coffees were not sweet enough and needed some extra vanilla. First time visiting. We both ordered coffee, Americano and Latte. We requested mugs, but first came out with cups. Upon letting the staf know, they quickly switch to mugs. I ordered a everything seasoning bagel, but recieved plain, but let it go, as didn't want to bother again. Bagel was just ok. Our drinks were delicious. Large spacious interior with rustic vibes. Very nice staff. Authentic coffee. Besides some minor mixup, it's a coffee shop we will be coming to again. We loved the vibe and they roast their coffee. read more

Wow !!!! Seriously this place is coffee love. Being in Georgia for a few days and I'm highly impressed with this coffee house. They roast their own coffee beans and make some amazing drinks. I love the whole vibe. They made my son a excellent wild berry smoothie which he enjoyed. I ordered a lavender latte which was just right- not to sweet and just strong. I had to cut my visit short since I had to call someone back - but I'll back here next time in Georgia. This is located near downtown Buford and gives you community loving coffee feels. I have been lucky to have able to experience so many awesome new coffee shops lately! Tchin Tchin is close to historic Buford and is an area that is still under a lot of construction, but it's like a secret gem. I actually came here for a networking event and it was my first time at that networking event. The staff was warm and welcoming of us and there was ample space for us to spread out. I love their space with their big tables and the coffee was amazing. I got an iced oat lavender latte and it was great. I will definitely be back here. read more

I used to love this place, but I can no longer support their service. Over the years with their expansion, the quality of their coffee has declined drastically. What used to be a smooth, balanced espresso taste has now been replaced with a bitter, stout pallet killer masked with the adjective "strong". The baristas have been taught to let their espresso shots be pre-prepared to save time. In turn, the shot dies, causing that bitter aftertaste, but at least there's sugar to "balance" it out. The atmosphere is still cozy, but I have also noticed many of the regular managers and employees have left abruptly. I question the reason. read more

This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I are coffee fanatics and we're always on the look out for coffee shops near places we frequently visit. This coffee shop happened to close to where we live. I don't know how we just now stumbled upon it! It's located in downtown Buford and it is easy to get to with plenty of parking and seating inside. The staff is also very friendly which is a big plus. I ordered the toasted coconut coffee and I substituted the milk for oat milk and it was absolutely delicious!! It wasn't overly sweet which happens alot at coffee shops we've been to. It left me craving this everyday. My boyfriend likes strong coffee so he had the steampunk express with and extra shot and he added almond milk and one pump of flavored syrup and he also loved his. This is a nice little spot buried in the historic Buford downtown. We camped around lake Lanier and this was a blessing as there are no other craft coffee spots in the area. The service was quick and polite. I brought back a bag of their medium roast and it was a bit darker than todays standards. Still a tasty cup. read more

I've been here twice now and will absolutely come back. I've only tried their lattes (my go-to order) but they are delicious. They have tons of flavor options and seasonal drinks. And, I tried a latte without any flavor added, and it was very good! Some chains (like the one with the green mermaid) roast their beans to death. Tchin Tchin roasts on site and my latte was incredibly smooth and not bitter. I hope they do well because Buford needs a quality, local coffee shop and they fit the bill! Finally! Have been looking for a solid coffee shop for a bit since coming to Georgia from the coffee-centric PNW. Finding this place was like manna from heaven. Have only been there one time, but I am sure I will be a new weekly regular. Their menu is clean, straightforward, understandable and COMPLETE, including teas and (what I think is special and very appropriate for the heat of Georgia) granitas. I went for the dark roast drip to get a good feel for the flavor of their coffee and I was jumping for joy inside. The flavor was full bodied and bright and reminiscent of my favorite local coffee shop roastery in Washington. BThey have a limited selection of pastries, but I'm there mostly for the coffee, so I wasn't overly concerned. Their location is tucked away on the street behind the main drag and the ambience is excellent: big glass garage doors to let the outdoors in, a great view of the coffee roasting process, very clean and the perfect dark and woody decor reminiscent of the coffee itself. They also have a great spacious and quiet "dining room" separate from the bar and roasting room with lots of tables and chairs and plugs. The service was also top notch and very welcoming. Searched "coffee" this morning with fingers crossed I'd find a coffeehouse in Buford. Tchin Tchin came up and I headed that way. Maps took me close but told me I "arrived" before time. Thinking maybe Covid closed it down, I headed out. Got just a bit down the road and searched coffee again. Tchin popped up again. This time I decided to actually look for the address instead of letting maps lead me. FOUND IT! Once you know it's there, you won't overlook it but it can be easy to overlook when using maps. I haven't had a London Fog in a long while but had a craving for one. Once I mentioned to Delaney (manager) how I loved a good London Fog and described how I thought my old coffee place made it, she offered to make me up one. Brave girl! And, she NAILED IT!! Honestly, I thought it'd be okay but before it was ready I also ordered a latte, you know, just as back up :) The London Fog was perfect and I didn't need the latte. But it was really good too so saving it for later. I also had the ham and cheese pastry and the strawberry pastry, both were delicious! Staff was helpful and super sweet.
