The wife and I grabbed breakfast at this diner bc our normal dinner down the street was really crowded. The service was quick. The food was average. The reason for the poor review is that they served the toast from a basket that was covered with grease and hair, and they rested that basket on top of my wife's omelet... Right on top of it. Stopped by with my mom and had some lunch food was good service was slow but everything was good.

My husband found a hair inside his waffle, we were credited for the item but upon paying the bill the server implied the hair was probably his. He has no hair on his head and even if his beard was shedding it wouldn't explain how it ended up INSIDE the waffle. read more

It's been a long time since I was at Warminster West. This was due in part to what seemed to be ever increasing prices. That was quite a long time ago though. At the suggestion of a friend, I went back in late October 2018, and was very pleasantly surprised. The menu has the same great selection I remember, the food was as good as I remember, but the prices now seem to be much more comparable to other area diners. I was also pleased that we were seated immediately at 5:00 PM on a Friday. It certainly got busier, but that's a good time to go. Our server, MariKate, pushed the place from a four star rating to a five star rating. She's quick, attentive, accurate, and most of all, the most pleasant server I think I've ever had anywhere. Note to diner owners and managers: A smile and happy personality go a long way to make a dining experience excellent. My tip of course then, is: Ask for MariKate. I'll be returning, as it was an A+ experience in every way. read more

The first time I was here I had the Short Stack of Pancakes with a side of Scrapple. Both were very very good and I was excited for the next time my girlfriend wanted to go there. Unfortunately the last time I was there with her and her brother we were not so pleased with our meal. The homefries were basically raw potatoes and the pancakes were dry as dirt. On the other hand the scrapple was again delectable. The one upside was the service was very good. Would probably give it one more try before I put it on my "Do Not Eat There" List. read more

The French Toast and sausage were delicious. The coffee was hot. The waitress was very attentive and the prices were very reasonable!

Since the Michael's chain took over, it's not the same quality of food. It's not bad, but it's not good either. Stick with breakast, and if you must, lunch is OK too, but skip the dinner all together (unless you are ordering breakfast for dinner or sandwiches). Everything tends to taste the same, and it's usually grease laden. Service is OK, but not what I like in a diner (I love it when the waitstaff calls me "hon!"). read more

We get takeout often and never have an issue. The food is very good here! Their burgers are the best, soups & sandwiches are also tasty and the dinners are delicious. Rice pudding is the best I have had anywhere and is homemade. I can see what people mean with the management,not super friendly,but I have had the same manager give my 2 little boys cookies. I think the food and atmosphere here is better then the Eagle and Red Lion diners. I have also had a couple of great waitresses here, there is a wonderful one overnight too. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't bother going here to eat. The worst service ever. Asked our waiter for water and off he went never to return. I had to get up to get everyone a glass and out of nowhere here he cones with the water we asked for 10 minutes ago. On the plus side the service was quick and the coffee did arrive piping hot. The food was mediocre. This seemed to be not so much a function of the skill of the cooks but rather due to the reliance on lower quality ingredients. For example frozen supermarket-type bagels. One of my dining companions ordered an appetizer of corn fritters which had a very nicely fried coating only to be ruined by the oversweet gelatinous goop contained within. This used to be a great place to dine. Of late, business is WAY off. Food is terrible At dinner time I counted about 12 people in the place. It's usually very crowded. Pot Roast was a special and two people behind us ordered it. The waitress came back and said we don't have the oven baked potatoes that go with it. People were not happy. Went in on Saturday, 11:40 a.m. thought out was odd we weren't given any lunch menus. Went on to order a waffle and scrapple. Neither of which were served to me warm. Not to mention they forgot my home fried potatoes. My friend ordered French toast, eggs, and bacon. We didn't order anything crazy. And his food as well was served cold. The meal wasn't good. The service was worse. Having worked in food service for the better part of the last decade, this was completely unacceptable. Especially for a Saturday morning/afternoon. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I almost didn't try this diner. But because I have become highly suspicious of reviews, I thought it was worth a try. I had my guard up as soon as I walked in the door and was stunned to see such a lovely ambiance and a friendly hostess. The coffee is excellent, the service likewise and the food was great. I'm a breakfast person and I thought the breakfast menu was more than satisfying. So, by all means, try this place. The Eagle Diner is fine and that's where I've always gone with my friend who lives in that area, but I think the Warminster West will be our new fav. read more

Not as good as other diners in the area but decent. A star is lost for cleanliness. There was visible dust and dead bugs on the ledge that divides the two sets of tables. Gross. A few years back, Warm West was the best diner in this area. But the quality has been slipping a bit in the last couple of years (around the time Michael's bought them?) I was there a month ago, got a turkey club, ate a bit, tasted funny. Upset stomach by the time I got home. Maybe the diner, maybe not, but not inclined to try again in the near future. Worst dinner ever. Just got back from a family dinner that was horrible and the manager did nothing. Found glass/plastic in my salad and I was asked if I just wanted another one. My 8 years old got a raw cheeseburger that was sent back and not returned until everyone else was done eating and the fries didnt make it back. I also wasnt given the dessert that was included in my meal. After every issues, we were told that the manager would be told. Spent almost $60 on this horrible meal while the manager did nothing. Use to come here all the time, past couple years not so much. Tried it a couple weeks ago with elderly mother and 2 young adult kids. Arrived about 1245p behind 2 other people, who were seated by the "greeter?" After seating the 2 in front of us ignored us standing there and went to a table and talked to the people there for about 2 minutes. Return from her "chat" she looked at us and said, "one minute" as she walked past and disappeared into the kitchen. About 4 minutes later she comes out with a plate in hand, a dessert, and reiterates the one minute remark, at which point I said "you said that 5 minutes ago".. She then stands by that table and talks, obviously with someone she knew well while we stood waiting amongst numerous open tables and booths. Finally she comes back to us standing by the entrance waiting and asks how many, then takes us to a booth where she threw the menus on the table and walked away. Really? All the restaurants in the area and I'm treated like this. Seems this place is understaffed with very hard working over tabled waitresses. YOU WILL NOT GET ANOTHER PENNY FROM ME. read more
