YALL.!!!! this place was everything you want it to be & more. When I tell you all of us got something different & not one person complained about anything. The prices & proportions were out of this world back to the 90's pricing. Everything plate was covered w food. Things that were ordered for the whole table. Omelette, eggs Benedict , creamed chipped beef, a breakfast sandwich on a croissant, stack of pancakes, French toast. Or course bacon & sausage & scrabble. We were a large table they had no problem accommodating. 11 of us. Fast friendly service all around. There is a huge parking lot no problem there. The food was out hot & quick. Everything was fresh. Well, when you read reviews from people who have gone to Royann Diner for 35 and 40 years ago say they will not be returning. It shows us things never remain as they once were. My wife and I went for breakfast and I will say it was worth my rating, a 3. I was expecting to give this long time diner in Sellersville, PA a higher rating but I cannot. Royann diner building structure is from another time. Service was adequate. Coffee was average. We did get a refill. It is incredible what changing cooks can do to a business. Especially if they are not good. I will tell you the parking lot is frequently full with plenty of diners. There must be a good thing many still go to Royann Diner. It is my utmost hope they re-evaluate and become the best diner in the area again. read more

I've been going to this diner since I was a child. I went there today, 1030 on a Monday morning. Sat at the counter, waited for a while for a waitress to come by. When she did, I ordered one of the specials that I had seen on the whiteboard. She immediately went into a conversation with another waitress, sitting at the counter, digging out her phone and showing pictures. I waited 5 minutes and then told her to cancel my order and walked out since I had doubts that my order was ever actually going to go in. Anytime a waitress has much more interest in her phone than doing her job, I figure it's a bad sign for the place. It saddens me to think that this diner probably will no longer be part of my life. read more

Roy Ann Diner on Bethlehem Pike, Sellersville, PA, is an old roadside kitchen clothed in baby blue siding without the stainless steel and glass of traditional diners. Give it a break because inside looks as expected with long counter and booths on opposite walls. The house was very busy on a recent Sunday late morning, filled with local seniors looking for a place to socialize at amazing pre-pandemic prices. (After complaining about food inflation and gouging by many businesses, it was refreshingly remarkable to see such affordability.) Service came promptly and with a sincere smile. I ordered their Garden Omelet, which came with choice of home fries or hash brown patties and toast. I asked for the patties but received the other. Didn't complain or seek a change because I was feeling mellow and didn't want to raise the ante on this peaceful Memorial Weekend. It was all quite good. The 3-egger was plump with greens; the toast was buttered wheat; the taters well grilled with good butter/grease taste and texture. Basically licked my plate clean. The coffee was refilled without my request by the young dude assigned that duty. To walk out into the afternoon drizzle, with people waiting to get in, for $15 with tip, felt like a special win when just last week it was closer to $20 not so far away. I certainly understood Roy Ann's popularity. Hard to beat good food, good prices and good service. Nice find. read more

Love Royann Diner! this is a throwback diner reminiscent of bygone days, serving great honest meals at a fair price. I have to say, Roy Ann's is not what it used to be. Service was fine, but the food was meh at best. Asked for Swiss cheese to be substituted on my breakfast sandwich, still got American. Bacon was tasteless. Coffee (a diner staple) was horrible. It was weak and served in a miniature cup compared to what they used to use in there. Curtains beside the table we were sitting at were filthy. I've lived in the area for over forty years and this place was always a go to. Sadly, not anymore. read more

There was a time the Roy Ann was the place to go for a good home cooked meal reasonably priced. The last 5 times I have been there it was disappointing. Pancakes were thrown on a plate and had the consistency of rubber. At dinner, again food is just thrown on a plate and looks anything but appetizing. Nothing is seasoned not even the mashed potatoes. Gravy or bar-be-que sauce drowns the food. I could go on but after 40 years of patronizing the Roy Ann, I will not be visiting any longer. Such a shame. read more

Much improved!! I've been eating at this place for over 30 years and during Covid it had slipped a little bit. As most restaurants did. Had dinner here the other night and it was fantastic. Waitresses are always great and the food is very reliable. Breakfast cream, chip beef and potatoes were served hot and fresh. Coffee is always nice and hot. Highly recommend. read more

My family ate at Royann diner on Sunday, July 7th, at around 5 pm. The gravy for the chicken croquettes was too salty. The green beans lacked flavor and tasted like they were out of a can and microwaved. The pineapple stuffing was overly sweet and couldn't be eaten, and the cole slaw had a strange taste. Our meals were extremely overpriced for the lack of food quality. Seems as though a new cook was hired. All the owner cares about is price gouging the customer. So sad, we used to enjoy coming to Roy Ann. diner. read more

The taste of America!! Walking into Royann Diner is walking into the classic country diner of years ago. The service is super friendly. The decor is unimposing and traditional without frills. The prices are reasonable - $10.99 for a generous two slices of meatloaf with gravy and 2 heaping sides. Most dinners are between $10-$15, and the food is DELICIOUS! Excellent traditional comfort food, it's the second best dressing / stuffing / "dumpling bake" I've ever had - 2nd only to my amazing 80+ year old "everything's made from scratch" aunt. The cucumber salad mixed sweet and sour with vinegar and a bit of sugar. The meatloaf and gravy were fantastic! My wife had the shrimp salad and really enjoyed it. My son's grilled cheese with white American was possibly his favorite ever restaurant grilled cheese. 2 adults + 1 kid + drinks + 1 dessert for the table with tax and tip came out to around $53. I will definitely come back, this will become a go to spot for us after a recent relocation to the Perkasie area! read more

We have gone to Royann Dinner for over 20 yrs. This last meal today 4/8/2025 will be our last meal there. It was not what it used to be. We got our salads (lettuce was soggy and wilted). Not 3 minutes later we got our meals. We were seated at a small table for 4. We had no room for salad plates and our large dinner plates. My chicken parm was aweful. I struggled to cut it. There must have been 2 cups of heaping mashed potatoes on the plate with one of those little butter portions for rolls. My boyfriend got fried shrimp which he said were good but his french fries were soft and not very hot. Mother in law had a small bowl of soup and sister in law had shrimp with old cucumber salad and a heaping dish of macaroni salad. Yes our plates looked very large and full but the quality of the food has very much diminished. Plus the price shocked me at $62 at a diner. $6 of that was for 1 iced tea & 1 coke. I'm so disappointed. Its not going to be easy to find another diner like Royann used to be. read more

The food is very good but they have a 3.5% surcharge on credit and debit card payments.  The debit card surcharge violates federal law and their credit card agreement.  When I refused to pay the surcharge and asked them to call Visa about it they refused but they called the police instead. read more

The food and service here are both very good. Everything is well made and served quickly. Also very reasonable prices. The wait staff is friendly, quick, and likes to joke. I especially like the fried haddock and the peaches and cream "pie" which is really a cake shell with peaches and a custard filling. We went here one night before a concert at The Sellersville Theater because the A&N Diner was closed for a weather issue (there was none). Anyhow, Im glad A&N was closed as this place is wonderful. They have tons of comfort food specials and their prices are great. Everything is homemade, too. I just wish it was closer to my house so we could eat here a lot more often. read more

We were driving thru the area and decided to stop here for a late lunch. All of the staff were very pleasant, warm and friendly. The food was delicious with good sized portions and it hit our table faster than most other diners we go to. And the desserts were very generous in size. It seems like many diners slice a pie into 10 pieces, but this restaurant apparently slices their pies into 6 slices. We didn't use the rest rooms, so no comment about them. The restaurant itself was very clean, comfortable chairs, and it is easy to get in and back on the road. If we lived closer, I can see us eating there on a regular basis. read more

This is my first Yelp review but not my first visit to Roy Ann diner. Diners are pretty much all the same but good diners stand apart. They all should serve breakfast all day and have a large variety of food on their menu. Of course there should be some specials and the food should be good but the most important thing is this. Good diners have a great waitstaff and a the feeling of home. At Roy Ann you will get all of the above. Our waitress Allison was a "doll". She was careful to get our orders right and when she made an error she acknowledged it and corrected it on the spot. Her food suggestions were great and showed her knowledge of the menu. If you ever go to Roy Anns, make sure you get Allison as your waitress. If you can't I am sure other folks on the staff will be just as helpful, courteous and friendly. Excellent! Highly recommend especially for large groups. Our softball team went for breakfast and had superior customer service - even with only 15 minutes notice that we were coming. Tammy was wonderful - cheerful and efficient. We were in and out in about an hour, which is amazing for close to 25 people. And the food was delicious! read more

We don't live far from this diner we have driven past it thousands of times. Diners are supposed to have a reputation for great food and cheap prices. This place is not one of them. We found the place to have high prices for a little portion of food. The food is a disappointment too. The grilled cheese sandwich was mostly bread and hardly any cheese. It wasn't worth the $8 they charged, even with the french fries. The scrambled eggs were not cooked enough and were greasy. This was a lousy eating experience for the money paid. I moved to Perkasie a couple years ago and the Royann was the first diner in the area I went to. Always for breakfast. They do it right! And with fair prices too. Maybe I'm a bit biased for sentimental reasons, but it really is a fine diner; service is quick and courteous, food is good. It doesn't really need a review, the locals know what's up. read more

We come here every now and then for breakfast or brunch. Their home fries are always good, but sometimes their food can be a bit bland. It didn't have the "glitz" you'd expect to find in a place such as IHOP (which is a good restaurant, too). We were pleasantly surprised at how well the food is prepared and how friendly the staff is. Personally I feel like this diner is a diamond in the rough. The prices compared to the portions always feels like I'm cheating them. On top of that, the actual food quality is amazing. I've never had a dish that seemed gloopy, microwaved, or frozen before it was served to me. I came here all the time as a kid and this place has not lost one bit of its charm. The staff is local and they clearly have pride in the food and the restaurant as it's resembles a good piece of history to everyone. Honestly is don't think the furniture has changed in 20 years. At any rate , out breakfast was incredible, and above all, it wasn't greasy and everything was really fresh. I had a the Royann omelet with home fries and a side of really tasty scrapple. We also had Pancakes which were really good and that came with really tasty sausage. Eh. This place is swarming with old people. their food is pretty crappy and I assume by the clientele, it must be similar to slop they serve in a nursing home that is okay to eat with dentures? Worst service EVER! We went for a quick breakfast. This was anything but...we were seated quickly, brought coffee, order taken, never checked on, never brought our order or had the coffee at least refreshed. 50 minutes later when families seated after us, ordered and recieved their food, we asked the manager about our breakfast. Our server never came back over, asked if we needed anything else and we got a "sorry, we're busy" response from the manager, instead of, we forgot to put in your order, we will get that right out.
