They are very focused on safety, zealously enforced by the range safety officers. While I would prefer if they had better handgun shooting facilities, and more enclosed spaces for that (only indoor shooting for guns is maxed at .22 handguns). I was saddened to hear of Marcus's passing. He will be greatly missed. The new owner seems like a good guy. We shall see. He's still waiting for his FFL to be approved before he can purchase stock and open for business. No idea how long that will take other than the fact that in recent weeks the backlog of background checks has been completely insane. The shop can be a little difficult to find. It's in the boonies a few miles from Forest Grove. It's been there since the 1950's so all the locals and serious enthusiasts know where it is. Hoping the new ownership continues to make this a great gun shop.

He showed me a better and easier way for me to pull back my slide on my gun. He did not make me feel uneasy but instead boosted my confidence in my gun skills. Chris helped me show me what to do when my gun jammed and how to safely fix it. Both David and Chris were extremely helpful. I was very grateful for their willingness to teach me and the extra tips they gave me. I can now shoot my gun with confidence and no more jamming. Very clean and professionally run. Took the Oregon/Utah/Arizona class 1/20/19. I had an Oregon CHL many, many years ago and the…read morematerial for the legalities hasn't changed all that much, but I still learned a few things that I had either forgotten, or may have changed since I last held a valid CHL. Now I'm ready to send in all of my paperwork to get those balls rolling. If you have need of a CHL, or even desire one I would highly recommend taking your class with these folks. Some of the material may not be all that exciting to read/hear about, but they do make sure people understand the material and of course add just a little bit of levity to break up the monotony of some of the drier aspects of the information. Steve also made sure to stress the important facts, especially when it comes to firearm safety. You can never be too cautious when working with a firearm and I applaud their efforts to teach people important information. If you do decide to take one of their classes, make sure if you don't completely understand the immediate topic to ask your questions. Steve made sure to take the time to go over any questions that were asked so that the person asking the question felt they had a sufficient understanding before he moved on to the next piece of information.
