I was a customer for almost 30 years but changed companies when I found I could save $1.75 a gallon. Now I am getting a run around trying to get their tanks removed from my yard and my bill corrected. It has been almost 2 months of false promises and late fees. Was supposed to get delivery yesterday. Never showed up. Last night my tanks ran out. Now again being told I will get a delivery today. Because they want me to pay an extra $350 to be put to the top of their delivery list. I am a single parent with small children in my home. I highly suggest finding a company that don't make you pay extra to bribe for delivery. read more

I am verry unhappy with Warners Gas since they were bought out by Superior. I have been a faithful customer for many years and have been let down since they took over. I pre buy every year and never know when they will deliver. Yesterday I ran out of gas and had to have someone come for a service call. This is my heat, Hot water and generator. I wish I could give less than one star, but I can't. They really need to get their act together. read more

Warner's used to provide good service, but in 2020, they've been as big a disaster as the government. At the start of the year, my propane was down to 20%, and I found out that I hadn't had a delivery for 2 months. I'm supposed to be on auto-fill, but apparently the driver skipped me. This year, I've been in and out of the hospital and I'm having trouble keeping up with things. Today - Christmas - I ran out of propane. I checked the website, and I haven't had a delivery since MAY. I'm going to be looking for a different provider. read more

It appears per the string of recent yelp reviews that Warners Gas is no longer a small local business with any stake in community service. Apparently, per my experience, they can no longer even be contacted about or assume any responsibility for 'Warners Gas' business transactions. So then, again apparently, they are a local family that sold out their business, past reputation and name to a large faceless profit only oriented zombie-like company to essentially become employees of the same. I am adding my 1-star review here to help offset the 2000+ 5-star reviews Warners/Superior seems to get from what (just might be -?) a dubious connection to paid review services. In my case per a phone call on 1/31/2022 (initiated at 12:22pm - and finally resulting in contact with a specialist at ~2:40pm), I was eventually informed that the $5.699/gal billed rate of my 1/20/2022 propane delivery (57.4gal) would be decreased to $36299/gal. I was disconnected during that phone session and again on a subsequent attempt to return and confirm the decrease and ask about future pricing to my account. So, I will pay the $36299/gal and the Hazmat fee and figure that's the best I can do in 2 1/2 hrs. I had explained that I was never informed of any change to my billing rate nor was I informed that my tank status checking would be discontinued. I was not called back, by a specialist to seek a remedy to the situation, as I was told I would be, within an hour, on my initial call. I had to initialize another attempt to get a 'contact' to speak to a specialist, I made my case for an immediate 'transfer' to the specialist and was connected. The 'specialist' summarily, in an angry, condescending tone, rudely informed me that I was essentially a 'low usage, throwaway customer' and presumably that I should have known the rules for my account had changed after 18 years, despite the very same usage profile and no communication of any kind from anyone. So, this says what I want to say about Superior/ Warners) business practice and customer service. I always pay my way - I only want to fairly and decently told what the rules are. . read more

I have been a loyal customer of Warners for over 23 years since the new company took over they price gouge you...beware! They delivered fuel oil in December and charged me $5.24 per gallon. I called another local fuel oil delivery company and their price was $3.23 per gallon. I called Warners/Superior and they did give me a credit back to match the other price but I should not have to do that. It ended up being over a $300 difference. I should have switched as soon as the new company took over because now I feel like I have been being overcharged for years. They should be ashamed for taking advantage of loyal customers hoping that they would not check around and thinking they can overcharge you by an enormous amount! Not to mention when you call you get to talk to someone that is not local, wait on hold forever and the customer service is terrible! You are just an account number to them, they do not care at all about customers. read more

This place is the worst to deal with... delivery made after stop was requested as I moved out of state. Screwed up picking up tanks, no followup on calls, and the rudest call center.the good ol days of warners is gone.. superior sucks.DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YA.. read more

Twice in one season we have run out of propane. No one answers on a Sunday and the 'emergency' number does not work. Terrible service. After years of great service with Warner's we get this train wreck. read more

EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY!! We are having trouble with your service. We signed up to have automatic refill, and we prepaid. Yesterday, my husband went directly to your business in Vestal, and requested a fill as we were at 10%. Today, Tuesday 1/18/22 we are now at 7%. No one ever answers the phone. There is no 'chat' to tell you are problems. We need the propane, as we have a 99 year old who lives with us, and my husband has COPD. read more

Very poor service and completely unreliable in delivery and billing. Very rude on the phone and behave like a monopoly in the area which they are not. Find another supplier. read more
