I've been playing here since they opened. I've had good and bad experiences but it has always been the other players not the staff or field itself. I used to go to Jericho at Simi Valley but they closed and WarpedOps is the only LA county outdoors field that is available. It's not a huge field but will give you both CQB and open field experiences. Not too many facilities available but if you're a serious or novice player the staff and other players will help you out. I've been playing at this field for roughly three years now. In the experiences I've had of playing at other fields for just normal weekend play, I can truly say I have not found another field I prefer to play at more. The very first time I played at this field, I was there early (as you should be for more than one reason) to ensure I got a spot to lay out all my gear, to be there for the first game, and not miss any of what the day had to offer. The day starts off with a mandatory saftey brief that all are required to attend. Usually, all questions, concerns, and usual problems are addressed by the refs thoroughly. If they skip something, the players who regularly play there ensure it gets covered. All rules and regulations of the field are covered and are made clear for all players. With the brief in mind, those who take the 10 minutes to actually listen and pay attention end up having the best time because they are focused on gameplay and having fun because they have understood the rules and choose to follow them. However, as reality has it, there are always those who choose to play by their own rules and disregard everything they are told. As this happens, the refs addressed what is needed and take all action necessary. In previous reviews there has been a problem of "favoritism." The refs favor no one. There are simply those who they have become friends with because of their regular attendance to warped ops. However, just because people make friends with the refs, does not mean they are exempt from the rules. The minute anyone breaks any rule they are addressed equally. No one is above a rule at anytime. We are all airsoft players and we are all responsible to abide by the rules set by the field. Whether you play once a month there or once a week there, you are addressed equally should you choose to break the rules. The refs are friendly and are there to ensure the saftey of others. Because of this, the need to be strict is inevitable. Whether or not you take offense to this, or choose to be an adult about it is up to you. As for the field itself, warped is looking at prestigious changes as the weeks go by. They are constantly finding ways to improve their field and gameplay through new terrains, new building, and new game modes. The field offers a most diverse form of gameplay that is incorporated in almost every game mode. The field is large enough where games are long, but small enough to keep them interesting. The field is absolutely one of the best in the SoCal area and is arguably geared towards mid level players. This is because almost everyone is equipped with their own guns and gear thereby making it a bit of a challenge to use the rental guns. There is no issue with the rentals, but every player with their own had in some form Modified the gun to conform to their play style, therefore making them perform better. This is simply the nature with any rental gun. This applies to every field both airsoft and paintball alike. This field truly is somewhere that all players can be welcomed and ensured to have a great day of airsoft, given they have fun and abide by the rules. read more

Been here about 4 time and they have a decent layout for a field it your into long range shooting. Buildings is pretty terrible for the most part. Biggest issues with this place is the staff. Too much favoritism to their friends (buddies) and seems to alienate everyone else. If the staff ever changes, then I might give this place a another visit. read more

Best Airsoft in the LA area. Great for beginners, seasoned & teenagers. Great value for your money since the teens/adults will be gone for around 8 hours. My husband & son play at least once a month. They take a car load of kids up & have a great time. They come home really tired, dirty & happy. read more

This field is the one we go to the most it is pretty cool, its basically just one big field with multiple game types that give you a new take on the map itself each game. Nice place to whether you're taking cover in the bushes the buildings the trenches or picking people off from the top of the hill its and over all pretty nice place to play. read more

Awesome, field, great for all ages and skill level. This was the first field I've been to and i haven't had a better experience anywhere else. The employees are very kind and friendly and work very hard to make sure their customers are having a blast. The referees are good. They constantly pay attention to make sure everyone is playing the game fairly and safely. However, there's sometimes scuffles between the players due to disagreements, as well as heavy swearing. The field is very safe as far as i've seen. It seems like the only true danger on the field is tripping and stuff, or being dumb enough to take off your mask/eye protection. Regardless, Warped Ops is no doubt the best airsoft field in Santa Clarita for organized, simple play. read more

First off I would like to begin by saying that I play at this field ONLY because it's near where I live. The staff is terrible and there are always cheaters and if you read some other reviews I'm not the only one. The staff are always mean and are very lazy. They give too long breaks between games and are always late. The staff are also rude and have favorites who are regulars at the field and they treat them with respect unlike other players. These regulars are equally as bad as the refs and have no honor and are disrespectful. The only reason why I'm giving this two stars is because the field is halfway decent and only some refs and regulars are respectful and very kind people. Great field, super fun MilSim Employees, referee, etc REALLY need to improve following: (1) explain game rules MUCH better. (2) START on time: on Sunday 5/29 first game did not START UNTIL 10:40 am! (3) END on time: on Sunday 5/29 the last game (which was itself not a good game format) ENDED AT 3:40! (4) Take control of the game: call out (or better yet test shoot) players who continuously do not call hits and do something besides sit or stand around talking with your friends and/or fellow employees. (5) Be Professional: the pre-play orientation/rules review by the referee is AWFUL. Many guys playing here are old enough to be the referees father yet he addresses players as it we are 12 years old. His language, delivery, and demeanor are all offensive. (6) STOP showing up for work: hung-over, grouchy, and generally acting like you'd rather be anyplace other than working at Warped Ops. (7) STOP hanging out for extended periods of time (breaks between games WAY TOO LONG + ONE HOUR LUNCH?!) behind the shed w/your buddies to the exclusion of properly doing your job. Been coming here for years but over time the quality of my experience has been going down. Went recently and spent more time waiting between games than actually playing in them. Some employees are cool and super nice guys but others are dicks... most of the players are cool as well but most often the annoying ones are the regulars who are friends w management, they just complain all day and play with double standards and like assholes. Overview: After five years of CA airsoft, this is the best field in the state. It's a spacious area with a variety of terrain features, brush, trees, trenches, sand bags, prop tanks, plywood "villages" and flag capture points. The referees are friendly and keep a good handle on games that can easily exceed fifteen men per team. They slashed the prices a while ago so now you can gain all day admittance and rentals for chump change. Clientele: Saturday games tend to bring larger crowds with more diverse skill levels while Sunday games are typically smaller with more experienced players in the mix. You'll run into regular Lion Claws attendees and a few post-servicemember types that'll give you a run for your money on the field. People out here tend to know their stuff, but they're also nice enough to tell you "good shot" and give you a handshake after the game. Walk around at lunch and you'll find a wealth of friendly expertise on field tactics and repair tips. The other reviewers poured a few glasses of whine about cheaters on this field, but they're grossly exaggerating. True, it's hard to hit a man-sized target with a 6mm ball of plastic from 400 feet away with a while he sprints through heavy brush, but that's life. With planning and attention, no "hit" can go unsecured. I saw a cheater on this field once. Then I saw his car leaving before lunch. Environment: At least four football fields with patches of heavy brush and a high hill with MG nests on it. The hill overlooks the trench "compound" and slopes nicely into the "city" by the parking lot. The large playing area makes for low tempo games that reward players who employ teamwork and tactics to outmaneuver their opponents. It's a bit more walking than the fast-paced indoor fields that cater to running and gunning, but if getting shot while some dude blinds you with a flashlight isn't your cup of tea, then maybe you should check out Warped. Gameplay: As above, this is an outdoor field that takes it a step above "team deathmatch" in a box. The games are lots of fun with capture the flag, global domination, plant the bomb, and "extract the downed helicopter pilot from enemy territory" regularly featured (note: he might have a pistol in his trousers). The field's always being improved and it's not uncommon to find new structures or obstacles constructed during your absence. Tips: -Bring lots of water -Wear tan/coyote, camouflaged if possible, and as little black as possible -If you have nothing but black, don't be afraid to come anyway, but I'll take a brown t-shirt and jeans over a full black on black on black SWAT getup any day -Tune for long range, low rate of fire, low magazine count, and semi-auto is all you need -If you need auto, you need to get closer -Read up on cover, concealment, leap frogging, and basic team tactics to stay alive and keep from walking back and forth to the spawn all day -Flank, flank, flank and peer around the side, never the top of obstacles -Red "dead" rags are nice to have -The refs are very friendly folk-- don't be afraid to ask any questions-- the rules of the gametype, per say -Pace yourself and focus on staying alive or you'll be tired before lunch (find a position where you have an angle on some dudes, make a few pot shots and move on-- standing in one place will get you nowhere, if not dead faster -Treat for what it is: a sport. Field is big and has different environments. Gun hits unfortunately count and you may not feel getting hit if shot from long distance. Overall very fun and gives better teams ability to flank and outmaneuver opponents. read more
