Stopped in when visiting last month and decorated so cute inside and all the servers were dressed as Mario kart players. Everyone was so friendly and checked in on us regularly. We ordered the clam chowder, top sirloin dinner and prawn dinner. Also tried the Bettle juice holiday cocktail. Everything was great! A while back I came here because my wife wanted to give something else a try since there is only so many places to eat breakfast up in this area. We did to go, because we wanted to eat at home, food was just ok, and what I thought was really crazy was charging the customer for to go containers. It's the first restaurant I have ever seen that makes you pay extra to do To go. Most places are thrilled to have to go because the better money is made in restaurant when you have customers filling a seat. I don't know if they still do this... but... big suggestion, just work that into your business expenses and cost of food. Cause it's a bad look. read more

We ordered through DoorDash today because we are grieving a death in our family and needed the simplicity of a delivery meal without having to cook or leave the house. Unfortunately, one of the meals we received was completely wrong. When I called the restaurant to ask for it to be corrected, I was told that if we wanted the correct meal, we would have to drive down there ourselves. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering delivery--especially in circumstances like ours. No offer to remake and resend, no coordination with DoorDash, no empathy, and no attempt to make it right. Mistakes happen. Refusing to fix them and putting the burden on the customer is unacceptable. The lack of compassion and basic customer service during a moment when we were already having a very difficult day ensured we won't be ordering from here again. read more

Me and my girlfriend came in today and the service was terrible, there was no drinks menu, the waitress didn't tell us what drinks were available and then when she comes asking for our order, we ask for a few more minutes and then she just disappears. We sat there for 20 minutes with just our drinks and no one came to take our order. They had about 40% occupancy with 4/5 servers walking around but no one to take our order. We left without ordering anything and probably won't be coming back, shame as they looked like they had good food. read more

I can't imagine this place will be open for much longer unless they experience a total psychic change! It is Filthy! There were only 3 occupied tables with 3 waitstaff when we came in. We should have walked out, but I had a raffle prize that I wanted to use up and I figured this would be my last chance. Side note: Strangest "prize" I've ever seen, it could only be redeemed mon-thur and only for 1 entree from their dinner menu (only available after 4pm) there are only about 6 items on this menu, all served with mashed potatoes, for whatever reason they don't have baked potatoes and there was no mention if you could substitute fries. Anyway; We were seated in a front booth with floor to ceiling windows. I dropped my napkin and when I reached down to grab it I saw the bottom of the window sills had piles of crud, crumbs, dead flies, spider webs, dust and just general filth. There were several live flies buzzing around the window too, until we got our food, then they were circling and landing on the table, our hands & eventually our food. No amount of swatting at them got the attention of the staff who were standing around. Looking up toward the ceiling was more of the same filthy cobwebs dust & grime plus paint peeling away on the seems of the ceiling panels. You can't make this shit up I swear-I thought we were being punked! So I ordered Parmesan chicken with the included salad. She no sooner sat my salad down and she was back with the entree. The flattest chicken cutlet I've ever seen, which was somehow dried out & greasy at the same time. This is the 3rd horrible meal I've had here, it gets progressively worse each time. We stopped there sat Feb 17 around 11:30 am, I ordered the chicken strips and my wife ordered the classic burger. I also had iced tea. To start with the tea was so watered down it was like a glass of dirty water, the so called food arrived and was HORRID to say the least, the fries were way overcooked and stank of old rancid grease. The chicken strips were soggy and old tasting, like they were cooked a few days ago and tossed into a microwave to warm up (barely) were tough and chewy . My wife's burger was cold and the thin meat was pink in the middle (only about 1/8 inch thick, her fries were also overcooked and also stunk of rancid grease. I also informed the waitperson and he discounted the bill. But if that place wants to stay in business it had better clean up it's act. Also while we were waiting for the food we watched one of the wait staff handling the spoons he had his fingers all over them sorting them out and scratching stuff off of them before placing them in the silverware tray, GROSS. . read more

Stopped by for lunch during our regular Tuesday shopping day. Amanda H our waitress was cheerful, freindly and attentive. The menu was easy to understand. Although we did not have a window view, we could still enjoy the outside view. Our order was timely and properly cooked. To my surprise my potato chips were actually slices of potato's deep fried without any salt, exactly how my doctor recommends. My pulled pork had only a light BBQ sauce with a layer of coleslaw on a toasted cibata roll which was toasted and buttered perfectly. Very disappointed, my partner and I rarely go out for breakfast but when we do we like to go here. Today we let the employee know who delivered our food that my partner had ordered two extra eggs with his meal, he went up to the kitchen and told them "the fat boy wants more eggs" quite loudly. Needless to say totally unprofessional and inappropriate. We boxed up and left. Food here is good, customer service seems to be going downhill. Well this was our third time at this place and I am pretty sure our last, we have tried dinner twice and not been impressed so this time we decided to give their breakfast a chance. Sorry but almost any restaurant should be able to do bacon and eggs reasonably well but not here. The eggs were pretty undercooked and the hashbrowns were sort of brown on the outside but mushy inside, like they had been steamed. The wife omletty was way over cooked, it had lot of ham but the eggs were dry and the cheese on top was cold. The sausage was pretty good and a nice size portion. But I just don't get how they do so much business, maybe there just aren't enough options around here. I had the delight of enjoying several meals at the Warren Country Inn the week of August 20th. The restaurant was clean and had a friendly, family vibe in the main seating area and there is also a lounge off to the side. Our first dinner we split a country fried steak with mushroom gravy and the two of us could not finish it. I ordered a Caesar salad as well and it was cold, fresh, crisp and had a flavorful homemade dressing with Parmesan shavings that was delicious. The chicken fried steak was piping hot and the homemade gravy was teeming with fresh mushrooms. It was so delicious and I could not think of one way I could improve the dish. Our waitress was authentic and kind and spoke to us in a regular voice, not the phony 'restaurant speak'. We were so impressed by our experience that we decided to have lunch there the next day. We were again greeted warmly and were seated immediately. The man that seated us was the owner and over our discussion learned that the waitress that served us the night before was his wife. A great couple that care about the service and food they provide. I ordered the fish and chips and my partner ordered a French dip. He said the meat was hot, tender and juicy. My fish was the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Not too much batter and the fish tasted fresh and delicious. The slaw was cold and fresh as well. One of the best lunches I have eaten. Even the tartar sauce was homemade! We never had to ask for refills on beverages and found the owners very personable. If I want a fresh, hot, homemade dinner I have NO problem driving 45 minutes to eat there again! Portland restaurants could learn quite a bit from how this restaurant prepares meals. Hot. Fresh. It's a Monday and most of the restaurant are closed..so we decided to hit the this place..Well the food is so-so..wife had the Oregon salad and Fettuccine Alfredo and I had the meatloaf and cup top f soup,,She loved her salad but the fettuccine was so bland I think they forgot the garlic and salt,, just tasted all cream..no flavor at all. Now for the meatloaf. Food wise delicious, everyone complains about small things like mushy potato's or over cooked bacon. Order what you want, don't expect them to read your mind. One review complained about their 10 dollar mimosa and stated they returned it for being too weak. That Sunday mimosa special is BOTTOMLESS order another one if it's too weak! Or crazy thought, ask them to make it stronger, it's bottomless they will do that. Again they can't read your mind order your dish/ drink the way you want it. I would give zero stars if I could! My family and I normally come here atleast 3 times a month because the food is so yummy. We normal sit on the restaurant side since we have kids and if you've ever been there you know that the owner/manager is always sitting in that first booth where we always see her playing on the computer. Which Is odd to me when I see the whole place busy and she's just sitting there yelling at her employees and degrading them in front of costumers. We witnessed the manager yell at costumers that weren't wearing a mask or wearing them incorrectly. Will NOT be back. To the Warren staff, you all deserve better! read more

The food tasted like it came from an Authentic country lodge. My husband is a homemade gravy connoisseur and can spot a packaged mix and 100 yards. He was impressed with not only the gravy but how the eggs were cooked and the flavor of the bacon(I had to agree and although not super crisp, it wasn't jerky-like.) he is almost always disappointed in the gravy but commented several times about how good it was here. Now, I like a good sandwich but don't typically order them out as I like to test out chicken wings at every restaurant that offers them. It's a thing. I typically order a 1/2 of something else just incase the wings are inedible (I know...how do you sell badly cooked wings? It's not that hard to make well) so I ordered 1/2 a ham sandwich. From the first bite I was shocked at how good it was. The white bread was lightly toasted and the slices were thinner than most sandwich bread slices, to the point of practically melting in my mouth. They were generous with the mayonnaise (a must with a lunch meat sandwich with fixings) and the lettuce was fresh and just the right amount. It was the best 1/2 sandwich I've ever had! As 4 the fries they were the worst ive ever had. I'll admit, I've avoided this place for a while due to poor experiences in the past. But I've now been here twice recently and been very pleasantly surprised. The service has been really good and the food far better than what I was expecting. Very well done on the improvements guys. This would've been a 5 star review if it hadn't been for the styrofoam to go containers. There's no excuse for using styrofoam and it really cheapens the experience in my opinion. My boyfriend and I recently went here and our food was very iffy. He had to to send back his eggs, as they weren't fully cooked. Then we didn't get our replacement eggs until we already got our check, and the eggs were still mushy. Bacon was cold, hash browns mushy. Country fried steak was good and so was the french toast. Came here late on a Sunday evening! I asked the waiter what he recommended. He recommended the pulled pork burger and the roasted pepper burger.
