They have a good amount of people ready to serve and while a lot of people often come here, you usually don't have much time to wait. We're from out of town but this was my husband's 2nd visit here this year because we have family here and the 1st time he got a great Trime & Shave all in one for $30. That's what we pay in our hometown so we were well satisfied. Yesterday, my husband sat in Julius's chair and for the exact same service, he charged us $50!!! I thought this was outrageous but we were on a time crunch and I didn't have time to go back & forth. But later after speaking to a few men after seeing my husband, they informed me that we were definitely taken advantage of...probably because I am a woman caregiver for my disabled, post-stroke husband. I am so disappointed that we were treated this way so that's why I felt the need to warn others of how you may be treated here as well. As we didn't have an appt we were given a wait time for the first available barber. The shop was clean and smelled fresh. My son loved his cut, and that is a feat in itself. Excellent service and barbering skills! They just moved locations within the last couple of weeks...good thing, they literally moved across the way, next door to the old location. This gave them move room for additional barbers and more seating for customers. I would suggest getting your cut on a weekday for a quick in and out, but if you have to wait until the weekend, no problem. You will get plenty of entertainment while waiting for your favorite barber. Lamonte will give you plenty of conversation geared towards all things sports, while Travis has that straight razor ready for your edges, Web will tighten that shape-up and beard with precision, Billy has the fast hands for the quick cut. read more

First time going there...read the reviews and they were good. So decided to bring my son there, the barber was nice..did a decent job..But knicked my son's head... Then shaved off half his eyebrow and made it seem like oh I did that and tried to make it into a style it did not look good my son did not like it and was bothered by it. In the end he did all 3 of my sons hair and instead of iof saying sorry and being apologetic and maybe not charging me the full price he still charged all of us a full price. $75 for all 3 ...not worth it for me. The hair was decent not the greatest, and the eyebrow shave off was not okay. Verry upset about this. I will not be returning there I just don't understand how if you're doing hair you cut someone's eyebrow off and not apologetic about it at all. And Charge Full Price...I wouldn't recommend that barber or the facility at this point. read more

I'm a 50 something woman with a funky undercut hairdo that sometimes needs a #2 shave in between visits to my very beloved but expensive hair stylist Michelle at Patricks's in Columbia, MD. So, having visited Warren's before, and knowing some of the guys from the Owen Brown neighborhood, I knew this would be a great place to get my hair shaved and shaped up in between salon appointments. The amazing hair artist named Reginald (aka Red) made me welcome and who has been trying to talk me into trying lines on the side of my head for a while. Why not!? I mean, what could possibly go wrong? I mean, I teach middle school and am already admittedly immature and hair grows back, right? And it looks great! The only downside, I guess I have sensitive skin because the back got all red & irritated. I'm hoping it clears up in a few days w/ Neosporin use! In the meantime, my middle schoolers were all like "Oh cool, Ms. Jones!" W00t! If an old white lady like me can make kids say (NOT ironically, either - I swear!) Cool... it's a winner! While all the barbers can do a good job of cutting hair their service leaves much to be desired. I scheduled in advance an appt to have my sons hair cut. I arrive on time only to find that there is only one barber (the one my appt is with), he's in the beginning stages of cutting someone else's hair and there is a long line. Why make an appt that you don't intend to keep. Previously I had gone for a walk in and was informed that they are closing early. They just aren't worth the trouble and effort to get a haircut there. Our barber is Web, who accepts appointments via StyleSeat -- make your future appointments as far in advance as possible b/c Web is uber popular and skilled so he's usually booked up for the decent days and times but soo worth the wait if you don't catch the appointment best for your schedule. I have NEVER seen a bad haircut leaving out of this shop....I think the atmosphere is awesome . Got a chair fast. Barber was professional and most importantly good. Traveling a lot, because I am in the military, has wrecked havoc on my nerves when it comes to getting a haircut. I went in for a beard and hair trim with Will. I thought I was pretty clear - just a little off of everywhere. I had been working to get my hair long enough to cover my hearing aids and it was just getting to the bottom of my ears. Will cut my hair all around my ears - 2 inches or so - no hair touches my ears anymore. (And both sides are not cut the same - the left shows more skin then the right.) Absolutely the worst haircut I ever had. I absolutely recommend you do not go here. The barber looked at me for probably 5% of the haircut. Was literally trying to shoo me out of the chair while my right bang was an inch longer than my left. He reluctantly fixed it, and it still wasn't even! Then he tried to tell me half my bangs were thicker than the other , so it was just like that I have never been more furious. Guy was a complete amateur trying to act like he knew what he was doing. Also halfway through a man and his son (his son who was getting a cut when I first walked in) came in to yell at the barber for apparently ripping his kid off. The dad was livid and I don't blame him. The best part was when I finally got back to my car, I noticed that my entire head was uneven. Literally an inch and a half longer on the left side, and my bangs are still noticeably uneven too! This is disgraceful. I've never even left a yelp review, but I am furious. I encourage you to stay as far away from this place as you can, if you value a barber who actually takes pride in his work. Heck not even that. Just one that will actually do his job and not ruin your day and force you to get another haircut elsewhere right afterwards. If you enjoy spending twice the amount of time and money, with a ton of added frustration, then by all means go to this terrible barber shop. read more

Just walked into Warren's Barbershop. Hadn't a clue it serviced men only. No exterior signage referencing that. The 2 barbers in the shop who were cutting clients's hair didn't say a word to me. Not a word about the shop's male only clientale or so much as a greeting. Chivalry among these men is definitely dead. What appeared to be another client walked in, and one of the barbers said: "I don't know who she's here to see". Hello, jerk I can hear everything you said but he couldn't speak directly to me. The client walked over to me and told me it was an all male shop & told me about the sister shop. No worries on business from me or anyone I know, after that rude encounter Warren's Barbershop won't EVER get a referral from me for any of the men I know or the sister shop for the ladies. I walked in on a crowded Saturday morning and knew I would have to wait. It is always good to observe the skills of the barbers before choosing who will be cutting your hair. Out of 7 chairs I would not hesitate asking 5 of the barbers for a cut. The other two chairs would do in an emergency. I asked for a "Philly" fade from the chair I selected and was pleasantly surprised to get exactly what I asked for. Yes I sat there for a minute before being asked who I was there for. I asked why that was and the explanation I got was "most people know who they are there for". I haven't seen that behavior since as the barbers seem to be hungrier for business. read more

I went in for the first time and sat there and they did not even recognize that they cut two peoples hair who was behind me. To make it worse they did not even ask who I was waiting on.
