This past summer, driving from Huntsville to an out of town trip, my minivan broke down at the Volero gas station off the Hayden exit on I65. I was panicked because I was alone with my three children and had no idea how we were going to get home! I looked on Google maps to see if I could locate a repair shop nearby and found Warrior Tire & Auto Service. They were so kind and the owner himself drove over to the Volero gas station to inspect my car. He got it running enough to drive it back to their shop where they promptly fixed the issue. Jeff took the time to explain everything to me and even offered to talk to my husband on the phone. I'm so grateful for his kindness, generosity, and hospitality. They had very rude employees who did not solve my issue but gave me more. Went in for my refrigerant to be vacuumed and installed and was first greeted by a rude older lady maybe in her 50s-60s at the front desk. She had a mechanic talk to me about my problems and he assured me it would be fixed without listening to what I had to say (neither of them did). I let them do there work for about two hours and they came back with my alternator belt barely hanging on and my compressor squealing. After taking my car to another shop to fix my problem they informed me that they put too much refrigerant in my system without enough oil. They also informed me that my refrigerant was leaking and that the other shop would have been clearly informed by the extractor machine if they paid attention. Another thing that was suspicious that the other shop mention to me was that there was no dye in the refrigerant almost as Warrior Tire didn't want me to know my refrigerant was leaking. Very disappointed because I spent $250 on the refrigerant with them knowing I'll have to be back for another visit the next day. But I won't be back because they're con artist and they don't care for the community. Also could've destroyed my ac components by putting to much refrigerant in my system without enough oil (Which I just spent $850 in parts on). read more

One thing every parent dreads when on a long road trip is for the car to be acting up and that Check Engine light to go on, and that's exactly what happened this past week. We pulled off the highway, and looked up the nearest mechanic, and by some stroke of absolute luck, it turned out to be Warrior Tire Pros. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Jeff. He was incredibly friendly and just fantastic with the kids. We explained to him what was wrong, as he made sure to get every detail about the order of events, and then let us know about a playground nearby that we could take the kids as well as another room with a large table where they could play. He then even offered to loan us a truck to grab breakfast in case the kids hadn't eaten yet. Not too long after, Jeff came back with some info and his honest opinion and let us decide what we'd like to do. The great part about it was how frank and honest he was about everything as he explained in detail each option. We ended up leaving not too long after, our car running great. As we headed to the Gulf Shores, we were grateful to have run into Warrior Tire & Auto Pros and all their staff. I can't recommend them enough. read more

What a godsend this place was! On a road trip today when our car broke down on the side of the interstate. Not close to anything as far as we could tell. Called for a tow truck and looked up the nearest place we hoped would have half decent reviews. We arrived with two adults, a preschooler, and a teenager. All hungry and tired and praying that somehow our car can be fixed and trip not ruined. Jeff, the owner, was so unbelievably kind. Offering the remote to the waiting room tv for my little guy, showing him the school bus outside and so many little things to help us out. Knowing we were in a bind with nowhere to go and nowhere to stay, they got our vehicle in immediately. They managed to get the parts there and have us back on the road in less than three hours. We were a bit terrified to get the quote, but it was very reasonable. We are from Nashville, and let me tell you- the same repair there would have cost twice as much! On a very difficult day, the whole crew here was a huge blessing. If we lived anywhere near this area, we would come here for all of our car needs. read more

The worst tire shop I ever been to. I spent three hours this morning trying to get my tires just rotated and just for them to say that they aren't going to do it because the frontier ain't that good I just bought the tires last year they still have a lot of trade on them And they tried to sell me two more. I told them no and they refused to rotate my tires. read more

I have had a terrible experience recently with Warrior tire. I took my car in around December for a front end alignment. I was told that one couldn't be preformed due to damage to the car, I understood. I was sent over a quote for $1300 and was told that would only cover the first round of work that needed to be done. I told them I would have to think it over since I had only had to car for around 6 months and paid $4000.00 for it to begin with. Jeff said that was fine and that I could get back to him when I decided what to do. It took a few months before I was able to save enough so the car sat there until the beginning of march when I was able to afford to fix it. Upon calling warrior tire back I told them that I had just decided to come pick up the car and get a second quote before following through. I told them that my dad would be up there to get the car, since he has used them in the past and would be able to get a better understanding of what work needed to be done. My dad then calls me to say that Warrior tire had lost my car keys and not only that, they left the sunroof open. So from December to now (April) my car has been sitting there for months getting rained in. They didn't even offer to cover the sunroof. When I went to cover the sunroof everything in the car is full of mold. The center console is full of water. The rubber on the doors is dry rotting. So now, I still have no answer about the key and I'm assuming they are leaving it up to me to fix the issue they created. What went from a $1400 repair will now cost much more for me to replace the key they lost and find out how to fix the inside. Not to mention all of my personal things inside which are now garbage. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've take our Class C motorhome there for oil changes, a Honda C-RV, and my Chevy diesel pickup for services. Never a disappointment. Usually above and beyond the work that other companies do. When the time comes we will probably purchase our tires there as well. Great company. read more

We were driving our daughter to college when she hit a pothole and we immediately knew something was seriously wrong. At the next exit we found Warrior Tire Pros and Auto and I am SO glad we stopped here. They immediately put the van up and discovered how badly the tires were damaged, replaced the tire then and there, and charged an incredibly reasonable amount. Everyone was polite and super fast. On my way to Huntsville the under plate on my car was missing bolts and falling down. I stopped by this tire place and they were able to put bolts back in and I was on my way all fixed. They were so nice and took care of me. read more

I use them for basic stuff like oil changes. I do buy my tires there because it's close and we can get them rotated and balanced easily. They charge us extra for bringing our own oil and filter(I don't like that but I deal with it). They've got their reasons. I wouldn't feel comfortable having them do any major work like a tune up or timing belt or really anything engine/transmission related. They may be ok but I just haven't gained that level of trust from them. Anything major with the car especially anything that has to do with the engine I take to Cranes Fast Lube in Gardendale. 205-631-0000 I trust them because they are honest, they don't bs you, they do great work, they're pretty quick. They'll never tell you that you need something if you don't. They don't try to up sell. They fix the problem and move on. They don't need to up sell. They're covered up with business without trying to get deeper in your pockets. Jeff and Johnny run a shop like it's supposed to be run. Fair, honest, dependable, trustworthy, and they treat you like a human being not the next number on the board. I do wonder why you would charge me an extra $7-8 for bringing my own oil and filter. I don't wanna use your standard Napa filter and I don't wanna pay what you charge for a fully synthetic oil. Why should it cost me extra. Because we have to use your trash can? Actually, we always have oil left over so that container comes home with us. Maybe it costs $7 to dump an oil filter these days, I don't know. read more

We've also used them several times for tire rotation/oil changes and even when they are super busy they get it done in a timely manner and are reasonably priced. Everybody there's very nice and they seem very reputable. But BEWARE! Get a price up front. Do NOT leave a vehicle to be repaired without an estimate. We did this today and our price increased by 29% without warning. Now, I will admit that after I pitched a fit they refunded the difference. But... there was absolutely no reason for the increased price. Had I not had an extensive history in automotive service, I probably wouldn't have known I was being screwed. I was on a road trip going to visit relatives and Got a flat tire when I hit a pothole, causing me to lose air in my tires. As we got to their shop, they went to check the car. But, it turns out.. it was more than just a flat tire. And, i am truly blessed to came across their shop. They made sure we were good and helped us with everything we had trouble on. I'm grateful to have met the owners and coworkers there. They are very understanding and great people to talk to and very professional in their work.
