I had received one of David's fliers a while ago and I'm glad I kept it. We needed a spring clean-up of the yard, removal of a shrub, landscape pruning and new mulch laid on the beds. I called David on Monday morning and he was at my house in hours. We walked the property together, reviewing all that needed to be done. He quoted it while we were together, I accepted and his crew of 5 was on site in 2 days! They arrived early, got to work quickly and completed the job with excellent results. I hired them for a twice per month lawn maintenance and already have plans for them to return to remove a tree that died due to the deep frosts a few years back. I really never write bad reviews. This deserved one. David came out and he seemed like a knowledgeable guy. The problem is, he sends his brother-in-law out to do the work without any instruction on what to do. I was at work when he showed up to do the work so my wife was at home and she didn't know which trees were supposed to be cut down. There were 2 trees side by side, one visibly damaged from the storm and the other visibly healthy. Guess which one he cut down??? The healthy one! He left the damaged one standing. He also said he'd leave the tree cut into small chunks for my small fire pit (I didn't request this, David just offered). If I would have known he was just going to leave it cut into 3 ft long pieces, I would have just asked him to haul them away. When I called after getting home to see what he did, David just said that he doesn't come out to show his guy what to do and that my wife said which one needed to be cut down. I explained that my wife wasn't home when he originally came out to give me an estimate. I asked him to at least come back and haul off the tree that he left piled up in my yard and he said they would be back the next week but they never showed. After a month of calling and texting then threatening to get a lawyer involved he finally gave me a timeframe of 8 days they could be out to get it. Luckily, I found someone on my own who needed the wood so I didn't have to be disappointed when they didn't show again. read more

We contacted Warrior Tree Service to schedule an estimate for tree trimming, tree removal and to plant a replacement tree. On three consecutive days they were a NO SHOW. They did not call or text to explain. They gave an estimated time of arrival which altered our schedules, then did not show up at all. #unprofessional #unreliable read more

I paid to remove two trees. They cut most of them down but never came back to finish the job.

David's price beat others that I contacted and he was able to come earlier than anyone else. In this post-ice storm season, other stump grinders were saying it would take 2-4 months to fit us in. He showed up on time and got the stump removed in about an hour. They dug out the roots so the ground is flat. There were a lot of roots and they carried them all away in their truck. read more

These guys did the advertising legwork of door-hanging our neighborhood. We read the cautionary reviews here but, after getting two much higher quotes for our tree trimming needs, we gave them a shot. They were quick to respond; they gave a same day quote and our trees were trimmed within 48 hours. They were fast, friendly, attentive and didn't leave until I was satisfied. Did not finish the job. Paid to remove two trees so that I could install fresh sod. They told me they would remove everything including stumps when the job was done. I paid upfront and when they took down the trees they told me they would be back to take out the stumps, that they needed to rent a machine and they would be back. It's been 3 weeks and nothing. Luckily the people I'm using to install our grass are taking care of it but it's an additional cost i shouldn't have to pay. I should have read the "hidden reviews" on yelp as I read they did the exact same thing to other people. read more

Do not and I repeat do not do business with this company! I paid them to cut my lawn and the service was very poor. They changed the price on me once they arrived, after cutting my grass they blew all the loose grass and leaves into my yard and I had to spend 2 hours of my own time raking my yard and cleaning up their mess. NOT HONEST! I paid 850.in March after the Artic Blast, to trim 2 Texas Palms & cut down 2 Mexican palms & cut down one small voluntary Sumac & one small Pecan tree. David, the owner, said they would trim the two Mexican palms for now and if they don't come out, he would come back to cut them down. Well he us NOT a man of his word. I would not recommend this company because on Sunday, October 23, 2022, I called the company for a quote to have a tree installed at my home. The arrangements were made between Tree Warriors) They were to pick up the 7-gallon tree from Home Depot(HD) and install it at my residence per our written agreement. However, the company failed to obtain the tree from HD as agreed. In addition, they failed to contact me and refused to respond to my texts, and phone calls nor did the company reach out to HD. On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, Tree Warrior text me and told me they would perform the task as agreed. Tree Warrior failed to perform as agreed. I reached out to the company again. They did not respond. As a result, of their non-professionalism, I am without a tree, and I have to start the process all over again. They refused to respond to my texts and phone calls. David from Warriors Tree come over to give us an estimate when we called the # on the flyer (we live in Austin). Estimate was OK so we proceeded to have him fix a couple of wood panels of the fence. (MORE SERIOUS STUFF BELOW LADIES) Based on that we asked him to treat some dead patches of grass (6/4), mow the grass and cut some branches coming out of the trees from the bottom. Two of those chores were done OK but the grass is dead in over half of out patio (pic from 6/7). After 3 days of calls and him saying that he would come over to look at the grass he never did and did not answer my texts anymore. We knew we were paying more than market $ but based on the fence job we figured we were working with a reputable company. How much will it costs us to replace all that grass now? Look at the pics (on 5/30). More serious was the fact that we told him we would not be home and he called me in the afternoon saying that the work we discussed the day before was complete and he was waiting for his payment(?) I asked him how did he entered the backyard he said we left the door open. For a fact I know we didn't because I was at the hospital with my husband. When I told him that at time of payment that evening he asked me to invite him inside for a glass of wine. IDK about other people, but someone that enters in my backyard without permission and then he asks something that it is totally inappropriate and not deserve my trust. Not only did they provide an excellent quote, they brought an entire team out to perform the work in just one day! They cleaned everything after and even made sure to return to apply the paint for the limbs that they removed. I received a very competitive quote from David and decided to use them to trim my live oaks. I needed ball moss removed, dead wood cut out, limbs removed over my roof and a general clean up of the trees. He responded quickly with a team of 5 guys and completed the work in 1/2 day. Just used them to remove a fallen large tree in my yard. It fell with no warning this past Friday night. I had to cut limbs away from my neighbor's driveway and neighbors helped move the limbs to the street. I left the big cuts to Warrior Tree Service. I called them Saturday morning and they quickly responded. We set up removal for Monday morning. They showed as promised and cleaned up all previously cut limbs at the street and cut up the remaining big portion of the tree. It was completed in about 2 hours. They brought a crew of 7 with 2 trailers. One trailer was used to haul away multiple sections of old fence and concreted posts. Other quotes for fence removal was around $425. Warrior Tree service did it for $150. The tree removal was $300. Clean up on my yard and neighbors yard was extensive and done properly. Thanks Warrior Tree service. I will use them again. read more

David gave me a good price to remove two trees in my back yard that were planted too close to my house by previous owners. The roots were growing into the patio and foundation. The price quote included removal of the stumps and roots. David told me he would rent a stump removal machine and after he cut down the trees he said he would be back within a few days with the stump removal machine. When I didn't hear from him I texted him and he wrote back "I'll be there tomorrow". He no-showed and I texted again and he has never responded. I don't think he ever intended to remove the stumps - fortunately I withheld some payment from the total as I had a funny feeling about this guy. I would be wary of hiring him to do anything more than remove a tree. read more

Terrible service! I thought I could trust them to complete the job we discussed. I left the check and written directions. The check was gone when I got home but the job was not completed as we agreed upon. Bushes in backyard were two different heights. Written directions were to cut at height of knot in back fence and I pointed out the knot to Dave. The bushes were four or five inches above the knot! Bushes along same fence but farther back were about eight to ten inches higher than the ones they cut! This was February 26, 2018. I contacted him that afternoon to fix the difference. February 27, Dave texted he would check it out that afternoon. No show! March 24, I texted again, no response. April 27, I texted again. Received "Yes I will fix thanks for the text. Never heard from this organization again. Today when they were at the neighbors house. I walked over to talk to Dave but he was not there so I talked to the crew. One of the crew called Dave and then I was told that this would be fixed today. Later they drove away and the bushes did not get trimmed. I have texted him and he said he will take care of this problem. No date was given to me. Will update. read more
