If you like a bar where it is totally acceptable to piss in your own shoes and float home this is your spot. Perfect place to do shots until walking in a straight line is NOT going to happen. Super fun group hanging out in here and not afraid to pour a real shot and to keep it coming. Not a good place to take the fancy ladies or the crowd that likes things a little more on the polished side of things, but for me its great. I don't get in trouble for the way I talk and I had a good time. I wonder why you can't smoke in this place considering that they are not trying to preserve the design integrity of the décor or anything. Very good choices on bar food. Burgers, cheesesteaks ( waaay better than most places), big variety of sandwiches. Fantastic chili every day. Pizza. Try their cheesesteak hoagies, very tough to pass up. Decor needs a facelift but what the hell, it makes it feel homey. read more

The wick is a family friendly place to grab lunch or dinner along with a beer. Bar food with some additional choices. My Dad loves the crabby burger and fried pickles. My kids love the curly fries with cheese. The draft beer selection is basic but they do offer a few craft beers in bottles. I do wish there was a tap dedicated to local craft beer. The owner volunteers his time as Santa Claus on the fire truck through the local neighborhoods during Christmas time. The cook is a nice lady that has been there a long time. If any bar was in need of Bar Rescue it's this place! When I walked in the TV was on sports, fine with me, when I asked if I could play the jukebox bartender said it was fine. I put $5.00 in to play 15 songs, the Juke only played 3 before turning off. Asked the bartender about it she said nothing she could do. The crowd is older divorced guys down on their luck finding that this bar is the only one they can afford to drink at. I ordered potato skins they were terrible, like they've been frozen forever and doused with can cheese to cover it up. read more

This is exactly what I like in a neighborhood Tavern. Very friendly crowd. The bartenders are extremely attentive and friendly . I love the wings, cheesesteaks and beer selections. And, you definitely cannot beat the prices. I drop in at random times during the month and usually make a point of going on Friday nights when they usually have a band. What a great little place! I feel comfortable and welcome here, not pretentious like the "1,000-mirco-craft-snob-beers-on-tap" places. Plenty of great food finds for a great price, comfort food as you would expect at a place still deserving of a title like "Tavern". I've been going to this place for years now and love knowing that they are the same staff and bartenders I came to know when I starting frequenting this place. This is a small, family business that deserves the community's support. I have found in my years of observation that those folks that have not-nice-things to say about The Warwick Tavern generally have also been encouraged NOT to frequent other local watering holes and are bitter, lonely or lack control over their own intoxicated behavior. I have watched several people be handed the card of a local cab company as a nice way of saying please stop drooling all over the customers and go home safely. Their embarrassment is evident in the tone of their reviews. I, however, have always had a great time. I like to play pool, I enjoy the bands that occasionally play comprised of local artists. I have even been known to play indoor volley ball during their mid-winter Hawaiian night in February! You will just have to stop in for yourself and see, but I think it deserves a shot before you rely too much on any bitter, whiny reviews on yelp or the like. CHEERS! read more
