So good! I got 6 traditional hot wings and a house salad. The wings had an awesome crisp to them. Curious what the smoked wings taste like. I'll have to come back and try them soon! The service was awesome. There was 1 staff member running the show, she was very kind and on top of things. The atmosphere was cute. We go here often. It's one of our favorites. We recently went for lunch and ordered the shrimp and fries basket. I know that doesn't sound too exciting but I can't rave enough about it. The shrimp were fresh and cooked to perfection. They had a snap when you bit in to it. Really good. Service is also the best. We plan to try a new menu item on our next visit. Can't wait. So I love Plumsteadville Pub and I'm not even a dive bar person. But it is super clean and the food is surprisingly good (skip the chicken fingers though). Weirdly, the fish tacos and penne alla vodka are amazing. Also the mozzarella sticks are great. Pretty decent Reuben. The portions are generous and the service is always good. And while it's a blue collar sort of bar where the patrons all seem to know one another and the bartenders, they've never been anything but kind. I'm a little grossed out by the elitist prick on here implying it's just racist hillbillies because... the guys coming in after work don't work in offices? Fuck off. I love a good dive bar and this one did not disappoint. We stopped for a few beers and had a nice time people watching while sitting at the bar. Beers were cold so we decided it order some apps. Stopped in to meet friends who are regulars. Typical bar. Lots of seating, pool tables, darts, juke box and plenty of TVs. Loved the fact they have hooks for my purse under the bar. Service was great and food was very good. Tried a special flatbread and my husband had a burger that he said was awesome. Plenty of choices and specials on the menu. Bathroom was very clean. Place is a local friends bar. I think everyone in the place knew each other in some way except me. It's clean and lots of TVs for games and a pool table plus a decent sized bar. There are also a few tables and some high top seats. I had the cheesesteak egg rolls and they were decent for bar food. They have a nice menu and an ok selection of beer as well. Not a bad place but when everyone knows each other there is a lot of yelling back and forth. read more

Me and a buddy ordered crab fries and they came out cold over cooked and with no seasoning on them. They were the worst fries we have ever had, also ordered onion rings and they forgot the sauce. I understand accidents happen so the lack of sauce wasn't a big deal but the fries were barely even edible. Major thumbs down. read more

I used to go here Thursdays for the 3$ Cheese Steak Special, I'd get Swiss cheese on it, some times with fries some times with chips. Along with that, I like to support local businesses. So with the cheese steak id usually get a 6 pack of some expensive craft beer, and I'd always tip the waitress 5$ despite the meal only costing 3$. So today I don't end up getting the 6 pack, and i find out my 3$ cheese steak special is 4$ because they charge 1$ for the 2 slices of Swiss they put in my cheese steak in place of the 2 slices of American they would have normally put in my cheese steak. Now I don't know if they didn't charge me for the Swiss before or with getting the 6 pack i just didn't notice the extra dollar charge, but i have absolutely no interest in eating a cheese steak with American cheese, and i defiantly have no interest in paying 1$ for 2 slices of cheese to replace 2 slices of cheese that they would have had to pay for any ways. For example, I can go to five guys and get a hamburger for 6.99 and get it with cheese for only .70 cents more, and that is going from no cheese at all to some cheese, not from some cheese to a different cheese. Id gladly pay .50$, but 1.00$ is absurd, this business really needs to look at whether some of the ways it gouges its customers is really necessary, or if it just causes them to loose customers. read more

Great bar food with unique specials on a daily basis. Beer is iced down behind bar and they have a nice beer selection on tap. They also have a great selection of beer to take out. I LOVE this pub!! It has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and very good food at reasonable prices! The Veggie wrap and Buffalo Chicken wraps are my faves but the pizza is really tasty too. They have a pool table, dart board and several TVs and a separate seating area that is ideal for team pizza parties. The staff is great with kids too! My 2 1/2 yr old nephew is still learning table manners and our waitress and the owners went out of their way to make sure that everybody was enjoying themselves (& they didn't bat an eye at the mess my nephew left on/under the table either). You can take the whole family here or you can leave the kids at home and go check out one of their bands or watch a game at the bar. I'm a fan! read more
