Went for first time on a Saturday evening. There was no wait for a table at 6:15 but started filling up quickly. Sky was threatening do we dined inside. Service was very friendly and attentive. Amazing sushi on the shore!!! We came on a very busy Saturday night but the food was definitely worth the wait. Great rolls, fried rice and appetizers! The manager Jimmy even made a point to say hi and thank us for being patient - offering a free mochi icecream dessert to the kiddos after dinner. Called last minute for a party of 6 and they accommodated us with no problem. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, small indoor space, very large outdoor space. Service was wonderful, very attentive. The food I have to say was excellent. For appetizers we had sushi rolls, edamame, goyza, salads and shumai. All excellent! First of all the customer service is incredible. The staff are kind and very attentive, ensuring that all customers leave in love with not only their food but their restaurant. We're summer home owners and wondered about the place after the cuban restaurant gave up during covid. Great news! Wasabi 35 is great! My wife and I ordered a Spicy blackened tuna roll and I got the Ortley roll both were terrific. Right amount of attention to details, crispy tempura, tuna, shrimp all great. We also got the Scallop Hibachi which was an unusual find since we normally dont see that on sushi menus. The hibachi dish had lots of scallops, vegtables, rice and a great combination of sauces. Ok. we were good. So, we met an owner "Jimmy" who was nice an friendly. Mary Ann and I leave and walk a couple blocks and who do we see running to catch up to us? Jimmy caught that we had left the credit card (common mistake for me) and chased us down. Whoa Jimmy! We'll def be back! read more

Than our rude waitress sat us to not wait on us for an hour in which another rude waitress finnaly took our order at 7:54 and we waited 2 hours for our last meal to be served. My family is extremely picky about sushi. We tried Wasabi 35 after several friends went and enjoyed it. We went on a Tuesday and ordered various items. Everything was excellent! Fried oysters are delicious, the soft shell crab appetizer was excellent with perfect tempura vegetables and crab. We ordered the sashimi dish with a salmon roll and eel sushi. The eel was perfection. All the fish was fresh, and expertly prepared. As a year round resident I hope this stays open during the winter as it is probably the best sushi on the island! read more

I AM ACTUALLY DISGUSTED WITH THE LUDACRIS BEHAVIOR AT THIS SO CALLED "restaurant". Me and four of my friends went eat today about 6pm, waiting two hours for food that came out in increments. The food was was solid as a brick, undercooked, and worst of all FROZEN. In addition, two of the people have never even received their food in the first place. I am beyond disgusted with the waitress who was completely miserable and had no personality whatsoever. She had asked what we got the 5 TIMES she was called over after taking our order in the first place. I was completely dehydrated and asked for water in 30 min increments so i wasn't being rude and she just never returned. I would also like to add that it is completely unsanitary to serve customers with MULTIPLE pimple patches on that were peeling off their face, especially with being rude. I would specifically like to make a shoutout to the manger who helped us in a very kind way. although, I do not recommend going at all and if you do; do not sit in the back because you will have the worst waitress experience of your life. read more
