My unboxed take out order. Sashimi deluxe, salad, rice & soups.

Whenever I'm visiting in the area I just have to order from Wasabi34. The food is excellent and it is delivered with a smile every time! If you are a sushi Lover order from here! or visit the restaurant. Fast service and special requests are always followed. I recommend this restaurant.

Always a little nervous when you enter a restaurant and only one table is occupied, do we stay or do we go. We stayed. Plenty of help here, three men behind the sushi bar, all busy. Maybe they are still doing a big pick up business. A server was quick to open our wine and ask about drinks. We ordered the Chefs Special for 2, 10 sushi, 21 shashimi and 3 rolls. $66. All the fish seemed fresh. The roll were simple not specialty rolls. The sashimi were cut very thin, 3 pieces of 7 fish, including octopus. Sushi was very basic too. Overall everything was ok, good, not special.

The food and service were incredible. Ambiance is cute and cozy, but definitely nice. Went on a Saturday evening and got seated quickly and food was really good. Got the maki dinner for two with my partner and we thought it was good quality, fresh, and adequately priced. Comes with miso soup and a salad too which was a pleasant surprise. Got some fried chicken wings (not pictured) to go and had those as a later snack. Also very good.

Very very good spot . The wait was really long but it was COVID so understandable . But I have ate here a couple of times and well worth it !!

First course of omakase. Seafood Sunomono ... good was seasoned quite nicely.

Second visit and did not disappoint. The Omakase here is one of the best. Amazing staff. Just an awesome hidden gem. Cant wait till the sushi bar seating opens up.

I had a bad experience here. It was not something I recommend you try out. We were seated and got immediate attention. We ordered an udon soup and some rolls. The waiter brought a chicken udon stir fry. Despite us telling them we wanted soup and asked for soup they argued that wasn't what we ordered. There's really no point in arguing it and we really weren't going to win. We got served some oily udon stir fry which was not what we wanted. Our rolls were okay too. Again, nothing mind blowing and nothing bad. I think we were so disappointed by the experience overall that it really prevented anything else from being excellent. The spider roll was good. The Philly and spicy though weren't special. Aside from the udon disagreement we had a really really bad fried green tea ice cream. The batter wasn't completely fried and soggy. The ice cream just as green without the green tea matcha flavor. For a dinner that cost $45 it was not worth it. I really don't understand the hype. It's a mediocre local sushi place that isn't run by Japanese people. The service was bad and I can't believe we got in an argument about soup. I would avoid this place.

We love it here. We always get the omakaese. It's the best experience. I trust the sushi chefs will not only do it justice but will impress me. They do. Maybe it's because I always look over and blow them a kiss. No, really. It's made with love. Always, always get the fresh wasabi.

Pre pandemic this place was on my list to try. My daughter and I were craving sushi though so we rolled the dice. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and although we had sticker shock when we looked at the menu? The portion size totally made up for it. Delivery time is a little long, but expected. The food? Totally worth the wait, and we'll definitely be patronizing this place when we're able to.

Food tasted bad. Place is very old and smells. Service is mediocre at best. There are better options in the area.

The place was nice, quaint with your typical Japanese Restaurant flare. Not pretentious. Comfortable and seemingly spacious enough for 6 people. The food was very good. Even my daughter, who is very picky, like her Chicken Katsu. I also had the Tokyo IPA. It was surprisingly good! It didn't have that tiresome bitter IPA taste. I was delightfully refreshing. This place is definitely worth visiting. I should really explore the back roads of my area more and not just go up-and-down Route 9 or 18 or trekking to NYC. That sadly was the best part of the night. We ordered; 8 AYCE and 2 ordered ala carte. My wife's vegetarian and doesn't eat much and my mom doesn't eat raw sushi and ordered the teriyaki shrimp. 1. The service is horrible. We waited 20mins to get our first appetizers. The waitress just dropped off plates and didn't explain what they were. My mom noticed the table next to us ordered what she got and a few minutes later, the waitress asked if she received her entree, which she replied no, and then she went to the table next to us and grabbed their plate and brought it back to the kitchen. We assume they reheated and replated the dish because it was way overcooked. 2. Long wait. Some items didn't arrived after over an hour and we asked about them multiple times. As we were ordering our 2nd round, we just reordered them. We got our waters refilled often but they never checked in to see if we were receiving our food or if we wanted to order more. Like they didn't ask one time. 3. Lost in translation. My parents are immigrants, so I am pretty understanding but the waitress didn't understand much of what I was saying and when I asked for extra ginger while pointing at it she looked very confused. I also asked her what a few items were when she brought them, and she didn't respond. 4. 10% coupon: don't bother trying to use the 10% off coupon from their own website. When we asked for the check, I showed her the coupon and she looked confused like I made it up and I let her know it was from their website under "coupons". She went to the back to ask about it and returned to say it was for online orders only. I mentioned that the coupon doesn't have any fine print except it can't be used with any other offers, and she didn't try to help at all which was frustrating. At the end of the day, it was probably one of the worst meals I've ever had. The food quality was ok except for my mom getting a reheated meal. But the service was terrible. It sucks to have to wait so long for food and things coming out randomly and my son and wife waiting over an hour for their items while others are pretty much done. Save yourself the aggravation and try something else.

I had to scramble to get another reservation somewhere else and they did not respond to any phone calls or voicemails, regarding an explanation. Very unprofessional!! Please also see my review below for a previous experience I had there. I also have a $150 gift card that I am unable to use! Pros: Plenty of tuna available, served with fresh wasabi. Cons: Limited or no rice (asked multiple times, but few had it), mediocre appetizer quality and quantity, chaotic and loud atmosphere, no water provided (asked multiple times), and the fish was not sourced from Japan. I was disappointed with the tuna cutting event. I had expected a more formal and relaxed setting, similar to my previous omakase experience, but instead, it was loud, crowded, and chaotic. I also assumed the fish would be sourced from Japan and that the appetizers would be of somewhat comparable quality and quantity to those at the previous omakase dinner, due to the price of the dinner. Additionally, my girlfriend and I were very sick afterward and still are (throwing up etc). People were throwing up outside as well. The lack of rice, limited appetizers, and no access to water made it difficult to balance the meal. Having these options would have helped settle our stomachs and balanced the meal, instead of just eating pure tuna. We also didn't drink much (less than two weak alcoholic beverages each since we rarely drink), which made the event feel less worthwhile. Offering a non-alcoholic price option could be beneficial for guests like us. Overall, I found the event underwhelming and wouldn't attend again. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.

Cocktails were a reasonable price, they do not offer wine, and many sake options. Most are quite pricey, but the warmed sake was $28 for a carafe. We got two and split it between the three of us. They warm it in the microwave, which I thought was slightly awkward, as the microwave was in the main dining area, near where some of the alcohol was stored. Our dining experience started off with three appetizers. They were interesting but not quite that flavorful in my opinion. The sushi coming out after we're much nicer. I especially liked the pickled vegetables on top of a few of the pieces. I mentioned in my reservation that I was a pescatarian and as they only asked for food allergies before they began and not preferences/dietary restrictions, I did not mention it. I wasn't offered anything instead of the wagyu piece so I ended up giving it to my friend. They were, however, very mindful of my friend's shrimp allergy. Bill ended up being $136 for the 16 courses plus the drinks, tax and tip.

Our server/service was excellent overall and food came out very fast despite the restaurant slowly filling up! We started off with the mentai potato, zaru soba, and tempura appetizers and those were the stars tonight. The mentai potato were steak fries with a mentaiko and wasabi dipping sauces. Fries were large, crispy and perfectly saulted. The zaru soba was also a nice find! We usually have go to NYC for it so it was a nice surprise. Pro tip, add wasabi to the sauce to mellow out the saltiness. We ordered a few rolls, a sushi dinner and some uni. Unfortunately the uni didn't seem as fresh as we had hoped and had a very overwhelming ocean taste to it. The rice on the rolls and sushi also were a bit mushy as if the rice wasn't cooked enough or too much rice vinegar was used. We also ordered a white christmas roll expecting seared white tuna, but it wasn't seared. Fish quality was ok overall. Overall, the experience was fine and we would love to try some more of the hot food. We really loved the apps but were a little disappointed tonight with the sushi.
