This is DEFINITELY one of the better coffee shops in the entire state of Utah. My wife and I have been all over the state trying to find some of the best roasters, and this is one of them. I ordered the Rwanda roast in a V60 Pour Over. The notes in this are mind blowing. The pastries look incredible and although I didn't order one, they look amazing. Very yummy, good coffee and seasonal drinks, very fast service , the place is very cozy, lots of new art

I've been to this location a couple of times. Each time we coffee has been great. My latest adventure was I needed to try a cortado. I never heard of this particular drink before and I found out about it from South Park episode. When I searched for a cortado closest to me this location popped up. Basically from what I found it comes from Spain and is equal parts espresso and steamed milk. I really like this but this drink but it is pretty small, probably because it is so concentrated. It was very smooth and was not acidic at all or even bitter. I felt like I needed more but I'm sure the caffeine content was higher than a regular latte. read more

Really solid pour over coffee offering! I don't live in UT, and I was nervous about finding good coffee while in town and I'm glad I found this place! They were cupping different coffees, which shows they know what they are doing. So glad I found this place! It is a small location with limited seating, so that may be a factor for some people. Picture it: Ogden on Sunday, warm weather, relaxing stroll around the botanical garden, and then the BEST part was meeting the adorable Corgie that runs this joint. The staff along with their adorable greeter were super friendly, and accommodating. I had the Rawanda brewed with the french press. Let's just take a moment, little bit of background on my part: I'm a former barista, and my current calling is in a hospital (working nightshift), coffee could be my middle name ;) ok... back to the heaven in a cup that was the Rawanda ... absolutely smooth, had a nice flowery almost sweet taste without any additions. By far the best cup of coffee I've had in a long time. I love that there is such style, and variety in this small roastery! Certainly can't wait to to come back on my next visit to the Northern Salt Lake area. Certainly worth the drive!!! read more

Are you a coffee snob? ( I mean this in the most reverent way possible) if so, get to this shop- the barista was so knowledgeable and friendly. The reason I'm bumping to 4 stars is that if you are ignorant in the ways of the bean -guilty- this place might be a little uncomfortable as there is no explanation on the menu and the words written there are in a language only spoken by the truly indoctrinated caffeinated. read more

It's tough to be in a town where everything pretty much closes on Sunday. It must be a Mormon thing I guess. That said I did find a little gem of a roastery near where I was staying. It's located right in the center of Washington and 24th and they serve up all things coffee. I was impressed by all the kinds of coffee they sell or Brew up for you. They as ctally have 5 manual brews they do here- drip, pourover, aeropress French press and chemex. They also serve up a cold brew on tap or in cans to take out. The atmosphere is very chill with cool tunes playing in the background that is not over bearing so you can relax or do some work. They also sell some local artworks. When I was there they were displaying fun little pieces of each of the United States with a montage of each of heir national parks. There is also an interesting murals to look on the side of the building and alley way. They only serve a handful of items to eat. Apples and bananas and some baked goods made locally by lavender kitchen and they are all vegan. I tried their latte with almond milk and an apple cinnamon muffin. All were very tasty and the coffee was make perfectly. I also tried a aeropress of expresso which was great. Overall if your looking for a good brew in town with a nice atmosphere to chill this is a good bet. Oh and don't forget to x in to get 10% off.. read more

Staff - friendly! Food - Savored each bite! Coffee - Actually makes good coffee!?!? I like black coffee. Its really hard to get good coffee anymore without someone wanting to dump all sorts of contaminants (cream, sugar etc) in it. THIS PLACE HAS GREAT TASTING BLACK COFFEE!!! Had the sausage, egg, pesto breakfast panini - yummy! Hot, substantial and served by a very friendly wait staff. Here on business for a couple weeks and making this my daily first stop! read more

Visiting through Utah and tried a ton of shop. Definitely the best coffee I had was here. I've worked in coffee for some time, roasted and was behind the bar so I'd like to say I know good coffee. I along with my two adult children have been to Wasatch Roasters many, many times and love the place. Until today. They charged us $.75 for a "splash" of regular milk in our Americanos. We were never aware of this in the past and wondered if this is a new policy. That is ridiculous for regular milk. We probably won't be going there anymore. Sad. read more

We took the FrontRunner from SLC to historic Ogden and WRC was our first stop. I had the honey latté, and my partner had the Java blend drip coffee. Both were excellent. Some of the best coffee I've tasted in Utah. We sat outside on a lovely day and enjoyed the mountains and quiet streets. It's more than worth the visit! read more

Very friendly staff, good coffee, decent prices considering that it's a college town and darn near everybody sucks down coffee like it's going out of style. They have quite a few different beans and different roasts, which give you a myriad of flavors to try. If you don't know what kind of specialty coffee you like, they'll give you a sample. We visited Wasatch Roasting Co. for two quick coffee breaks. Their drinks are great--both the latte and nitro cold brew were tasty. The cafe is very nicely decorated and has some interesting (and I assume local) art inside and outside. There are a few tables, but not much seating, and it was fairly quiet when we came around 4-5 pm each day. Definitely worth a visit! read more

I'm so glad this little roasting company opened up in Ogden. The coffee is really good and fresh. They have a good variety and are happy to educate their customers about anything and everything that goes into the coffee roasting process. They roast in the same building that the coffee shop is in which means it smells heavenly on roasting day. Very bright clean and comfortable with some cool design elements going on. Good place to hang out and people watch or meet up with a friend. They sell fresh roasted beans in 8oz bags for about $10 a piece. The bags are hand notated with the bean, the process, and the roasting date. I also had a very good cappuccino here. They had a few baked goods that looked nice but I didn't try any and I forgot to ask where they're from. I think I've found my new coffee spot. read more
