Great little roasting company! Super trendy and hip vibe inside. It was my first time in and I ordered an iced Americano (my go-to summer beverage), but the guy convinced me to try their nitro cold brew. 16 oz cold brew ran me a bit more than $4 which is totally fair pricing. The cold brew was definitely one of the better cold brews I've ever had... maybe even the best. Strong/flavorful, not bitter, a little sweet, and perfectly cold without adding ice. I actually don't love the sweetness that most cold brews have, so I probably would've preferred my iced americano BUT I was still impressed! I drank half then and drank half later in the day... I stayed a fan the entire time. This is a great little addition to Ogden's coffee scene! read more

The barista was great and answered all my questions . The nitro infused coffee was very interesting loved the cascara nitro on tap. The espresso shot was pulled very well all the fruit and acid notes were not overpowering. It would be nice to have a darker roast option... but other than that the cafe was a delightful environment and very comfortable. It took a little too long to get my coffee to me on my first visit, but my guts tell me this was not the norm. The guy who runs the joint is from a bit farther east and wants to bring more light roasting to the area. I say bring it on. It was a welcome change to walk into a UT coffee shop and catch the scent of a roaster and to taste a pour-over that had notes of fruit and chocolate. Great product quality, but I'd like to visit a few more times to really get a lay of the land flavor-wise. I have no doubt WRC will continue to improve as they become more well-known in the area. Mostly street parking, but you can use the lot behind Lucky Slice, which is across the street. Definitely more of an artisan feel to WRC, so if you're in a rush to get to work (like I was on my first visit) consider coming back when you've got a break so you can really enjoy the experience. Decor and "feel" is hipstery, but that's okay from time to time. WRC is somewhere I'd be most likely to haunt on a Saturday, when I can stay for a while, enjoy the aesthetic, and get some reading and writing done. After leaving Ogden to move to Seattle, I was sure that there could be nothing to meet up with my extremely high coffee expectations when I came back to visit. Fortunately, I was very wrong. Wasatch has outdone itself by breaking out of the Starbucks mold, allowing coffee to shine rather than an abundance of awful syrups and frankly offensive blended drinks that saturate the downtown market. Their pourovers are fantastic and truly a testament to how well their baristas are trained. I've yet to have any milk based drinks, but I hope to rectify that in the future. My only gripe is how low their prices are. I understand that things are different in the area compared to large cities, but for how fantastic this establishment is they deserve to have their prices mirror their quality. Soft yet crumbly- the perfect accompaniment to a house coffee and breve. As a previous coffee roaster/barista myself, I can say that this coffee is mild and careful. The latte I had was OK as the milk was smooth and not burnt, but you couldn't taste the espresso at all. The pour-over was also watered down. Perhaps that's the point here? Not from the area, so do locals fear full-flavored brews? Cute little shop but I won't be buying any beans for home. read more

Visited with my son - you go for the coffee. We each enjoyed cortados there, and then regulars to go. Type of place that proves SBX is just acceptable, and there are many steps up from there. This is the best coffee I've ever had that I didn't make myself, and it's better than I make for myself most mornings because the baristas clearly have more patience than I. Love that they offered Chemex-brewed, which is what I make at home. The only thing that would improve the experience is more food options at breakfast-but don't do it if it would detract from that perfect coffee!
