Convenient South End location, good variety of product, reasonable prices and genial help. What's not to like?

Thought I'd put in my review so there'd be something positive sooner than 5 years old, as one reviewer put it. I don't get why they've gotten a bad rap as the recent reviews over seen. After having gone here for the past couple years and seeing the review mentioning them not being positively responsive about whether or not they were open during the Covid 19 pandemic; I figured I'd give it a try to reach out and see if they were open for business. The owner answered and explained that they were, technically, closed because of the quarantine guidelines. However, he asked if I would be willing to meet him the next morning in his parking lot. I gave him my list of things we needed and he was there, texting me to let me know, earlier than arranged. Terrific! I'll be right over! Since then, presumably because we had such a pleasant exchange, I'm disabled and have been a regular; he occasionally would check in to see if I needed more cigarettes for my fiance or anything else. Something that was nice since during my first call with him I'd explained it was more cost effective for my pocketbook to be able to buy by the cartons, as opposed to single packs as the gas stations refused to sell by the carton making my fiance's habit more costly than usual. I can tell you from experience that he has reopened even though his doors are locked. Because if current Covid conditions, he is answering to knocked on his security door from the parking lot entrance. Tell him what you need and he'll get your items and provide you with your total. Heck, call ahead and speak with him nicely; he'll most likely have your order ready by the time you've told him you intend to be there and it's a nice, quick and easy process. read more

Best customer service experience in many many years!! Purchased a vape here that had an issue as soon as I tried to turn it on it was clear the battery was inoperable (this happens a lot, but it's rare to find a shop owner who is u fee standing and willing to help). The store owner is a wonderful man. I don't know him, other than the acts of kindness he displayed today. He did an exchange, was apologetic and sweet, and helped with other questions. These times are hard. With a recent death in the family and the impacts of this pandemic, I was really anxious because money is tight and every dollar counts. The shop owner was patient, fair, and incredibly helpful. Walking out of the store I felt so heard, respected, and valued. I will from now on be driving here for ALL my vape and smoking needs. And as for today, I will be paying this kindness forward. Giving this place a generous one star. The owner, what I assume to be the owner, has shady business practices such as selling you a box that's crumpled with a straight face. Half the cigarettes in the box were broken and tobacco was riddled in the box. If you're going to sell me a box sell me a soft pack not a broken hard pack. While he was grinning ear to ear at the counter saying they're ok. It's the worst feeling when the guy selling you a product is laughing right at your face. Will never return here, it's a shame because they carry all the brands. The owners make you feel like complete shit, rush you and don't care about the customers. read more

I have been going here for a few years. Last several times at this spot the girls have been little snots. Reading the reviews, nothing but nice things about the customer service but I see that was a few years ago, which was true then. Two years ago the customer service was very pleasant. Girls, stop flirting with every tatted up guy like you're all cool. And get off your cell phone with your "hey baby" when you have a customer. I wanted to give vaping a try and I needed some guidance as to what set up would be best for me. The guy at the counter was extremely unhelpful. Not rude, but he just didn't seem to know a thing about vaping or the products they sold. He was almost completely non verbal... I'd ask him a question and he'd just shrug his shoulders, or he'd reach under the counter and pull out a product without comment.... Like, Ken...I had no idea that this place was even there. I went to Bristol Farms (their little kitchen shop) looking for a butane torch ~ recommended for lighting wood pellets for my handy-dandy pellet tube (a BBQ accessory). Anyway, $34 was much more than I was willing to spend. So, while still in Bristo Farm's parking lot, I used my phone to do a search for a smoke shop...thought they might carry SOMETHING. Washington Smoke Shop was the first one I called. Christian answered the phone and told me that he had what I was looking for. When I walked in and asked for the torch, he acknowledged that he was the one I'd spoken with. I have to say...this is a small, cozy place with VERY friendly and helpful staff. He showed me the torches he had and I was surprised at the variety. (Bristol Farms only had ONE!!) I ended up paying HALF of what the other store was asking...and that INCLUDED a can of butane. Not to mention that Christian told me to bring it in and he would assist me with refilling the unit if I need him to. Great customer service seems to be a rarity these days. I walked away feeling special. Now, THAT is awesome customer service. By the way, I just HAVE to go back...you see, I told Christian that I would bring him some BBQ once I try out my new pellet tube (used for smoking food). I intend to keep that promise. read more

Came here looking for kratom. The girl that works there is so sweet and very helpful. She should get a raise, and I hope the owners see this. Petite dark haired Hispanic (I think) girl. Wish I could remember her name! Anyway, they had a jar of powder and another jar of capsules. I went with the jar of powder. I was a little worried because it's not in separate pouches but it was very good! It took away my migraine and gave me a nice mellow calm but didn't put me to sleep.
