    Donation time

I've been collecting during the year to donate. My spoiled dogs, have way too much, so it's time to share. There are two containers to drop off. One worker at the door, and appointments only. I asked for a receipt, and she said to place the items in the containers. So I did, and was waiting, until she peeked out and I gave her my information. A little confusion as I waited after I dropped off in the bin, because she said she would then check out what I dropped off. I assumed she was going to come out, check what I dropped off, then get a receipt. They will email you a receipt in a week. Not sure how they can tell what you donated when others come and drop off and leave. I just want to help the animals there, so hopefully they will be able to use everything.

We went to have our dog vaccinated. WRAS is clean. The staff are friendly. Our dog came out happy after getting his vaccinations.

We have always had rescue dogs and our sweet siblings Jake and Bessie who were from Incline's shelter at 6-week-old brought us such joy for many years. We had been dogless for over a year and when we saw the picture on your website of Jenny fell in love. Jenny is doing fantastically. She loves all the space she has to run, play fetch, loves her wading pool and made instant friends with our other sister's 2dogs who had their meet & greet this weekend. Thank you for the work you do for the animals, and joy Jenny has brought us.

I decided to start going into the humane society to get some kitty therapy(wasn't really planning on picking one up.). I still had my two boys but my cat I lost was special and it left a little bit of a void. I went back a couple times for a few weeks and then one day there was an intake that was a little ball of energy that I just had to play with. But since he was new they were still figuring out his temperament so he was not available for meets. Went into my work weekend and I saw he went into regular population to where he could be played with on my work Friday. Had a friend that was going with me on occasion to see the cats. I woke up on my first day off to a knock on my door, She adopted the cat for me and it was a bit of a shock at first but he's been the most beautiful fit for my household. Don't shop, please adopt. So many amazing animals out there

The team at the SPCA was truly understanding, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire process. They made something so heartbreaking feel as smooth and gentle as possible, and we are beyond grateful for their kindness during such an emotional time. Wish if our situation changes we could get him back but there's a form that I had to sign saying they might not do that (very hurtful). There were a lot of tears today, but we are holding onto hope and praying that Tyson finds a loving, safe, and happy forever home. We trust that the SPCA will do right by him and help place him with a family who will love him just as much as we do. Tyson will always be a part of our hearts.

I am so happy that we can give back to the community as a family here. Thank you SPCA for being open minded to families. Being volunteers we get to see a bit of the behind the scenes, and let me tell you, everything is labeled, thoughtful, super clean and well kept. It's is actually quite amazing! Their facilities are quite nice as well. We love looking at their display board of how many animals they have adopted out that month. I wish more people took the time to volunteer for the community and for the animals. It is something I cherish and want to instill in my kids. Thank you SPCA for allowing this to happen.

I was living at Our Place (Shelter) and they contacted me about the transitional housing program. This day completely changed my life around. I entered the Transitional Housing program with a newborn. They gave me a place to stay, assistance with basic needs (diapers, toiletries, food, furniture, etc.), and provided a furnished apartment. Throughout my stay they gave us food to be able to provide a Christmas dinner to our families, birthday baskets for our children, and countless other forms of support! They provided my daughter and I stability, which I can never thank them enough for!! While in the program I was able to attend classes such as book club, financial literacy, and support group. They even paid for therapy! I met with a financial coach every 2 weeks and she taught me how to keep a budget, pay off debt, save, and get back on my feet. I learned so many skills in the program, and these ladies are incredible! They are there to support you every step of the way. When you're in a DV situation it can feel very lonely, but they are always there for you in moments of need! Never in a million years did I think I would have been in that situation, but thank God they were there when I was! I will forever be grateful to these women for helping give my baby and me a great life. I am now in my own apartment, could afford a car, and am able to stand on my own 2 feet and be a proud mom. Thank you DVRC for all of your hard work to assisting women in DV situations. You have changed so many lives for the better!

It smells clean and the meals are hand crafted every day by Mack and Robyn. So much thought is put in every dish with bits of pumpkin and cottage cheese and if needed supplements. Phillip is the facilitator in delivering all meals and making sure everyone is nice and clean at all times. I could not believe how fast and gentle he is with all residents on board. I fell in love with Tommy and Lavinia as they are Neapolitan mastiffs. Sugar cakes and Samson are so adorable. Upon arrival we were not sure if our Cleo would be a good fit for her long stay due to military deployment. This unforeseen deployment was difficult to let go of our little loved Cleo. But! It was a perfect match made in heaven. We were moved in the positive energy Robyn, Mack and Phillip radiate. The open stretch of land and the view is just like heaven. So peaceful and of course you feel safe. LOL The thoughtfulness and unconditional love sugar-land Ranch offers to Military solders dogs is truly a blessing. A big shout of THANK YOU to all the sponsors that have contributed and have made this a reality! A special big THANK YOU to the honorable Ret. Col. With out no doubt in mind or soul I vouch a 110% high functioning non-profit that truly you can see the selfless act of love in its purest form.
