I requested an appointment asking if they could see me that day and Dr. Mike emailed me and said yes. I drove straight there where he gave me an X-ray and talked about my pain. Dr. Mike believed it was a pinched nerve in my neck. Right then he started working on me and I've gone regularly since then once or twice a week. It's been a great experience from start to finish. Dr. Mike and Dr. Dana are great. They explain everything they're doing and are very knowledgeable. The staff is great too- Gina at the front desk is so sweet and helpful. I too had similar thoughts when I first walked into Elaine's office as it is probably the polar opposite of walking into a PT office at say NU Hospital. I also waited a bit longer than I had imagined as Elaine was finishing up with another patient. However, minor grievances aside, I must say that Elaine is by far the best and most thorough doctor I have ever seen. She is also HIGHLY intelligent and EXTREMELY precise when it comes to her diagnosis. I may have lucked out being the last patient of the day but she spent no less than 90 minutes examining and treating me. 90 MINUTES!!! A typical visit with an MD lasts 20 minutes, and that's if you're lucky. Chiros can be even worse as I'm sure many of you know. Notice how the last reviewer said it took 3 hours for her exam... well, even with 2 other patients, that's still unheard of as I'm sure she was just as thorough with her. Elaine is a true holistic practitioner. She practices muscle testing, traction, acupuncture, hypnosis, nutrition, and the list goes on... Believe you me, she will not let you out of her office until she is able to treat you successfully. If you can get past some small gripes (mainly her unorthodox and slightly cluttered office) you will be handsomely rewarded with good and honest treatment. And isn't that the name of the game anyway? Personally, I've had enough of doctors with fancy offices and perky assistants, only to get the obligatory "snap, crackle, pop" routine... If you're looking for a good, honest, and THOROUGH D.C who actually cares about your health and well being then do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with this woman. My advise would be to try and get the last appointment of the day, thereby avoiding the scenario illustrated by the previous reviewer.

She told my partner that all of their health issues are due to the fact that they are trans and have been on hormones, despite the fact that their medical problems have existed long before they started hormones. She forced us to make two appointments so she could bill our insurance twice, so my partner did not even get an adjustment. Despite this, she still managed to grope my partner's butt without consent.

I did feel guilty coming in having no pain, but I had concerns about a short leg that I didn't know if it was functionally or anatomically short. I also came in about concerns over editing on the computer over long periods of time i.e. my right shoulder was always hunched up and tight and bad posture. There were other parts of the bones and muscles that I didn't even know were off (my mid-spine wasn't moving, my shoulder blade muscles weren't tight). Trigger points, EVERYTHING. My wife and I have been going to this location for a decade, and we will never be returning barring ownership selling. We purchased e-gift cards in December and when we tried to use them, they were suddenly unable to find them on the account and that they don't sell the gift cards it's a third party named Hownd. Since these gift cards were never given to us, we did a chargeback. Conveniently, once the chargeback went through, they called us saying that they can see the balance on our account now. When we went into the location to discuss, the "manager" threatened to ban us and charge us for the dispute fee. I then called the next day to cancel my account and was told the person who we talked to was just a "front desk" employee and that despite their website saying membership is month to month, they need 30 days notice on cancelling. When I refused to pay that, they "terminated my account". I would not recommend this location, purely on the behavior of management. The massage therapists such as Erin and Kevin are amazing people and great at their jobs.
