I also brought in a parcel of 4 blue sapphires to be included in the ring. Staff helped me design the ring. White gold, stone placement and orientation plans were drawn up. They allowed me to partially pay in a kilo bar of .999 silver. A couple of weeks later, I went to pick the new ring up. The wife loved it. It was truly spectacular. I have been back. This time to make rings, earrings, etc. out of loose gemstones, I purchased elsewhere. Specifically, 2 solitaire diamonds, 2 sapphires, 2 garnets and a pair of amethyst earrings. Staff has always been attentive, never demeaning or overbearing. I felt like they gave me good deals without hassles. When I need jewelry made, which will be soon, I will go back. I said I'd come back the next day and thanked her for letting me know I could get a discount. I live about 40 minutes from the store so I couldn't just go home and get my ID. I told both employees thank you for your time, I'll be back tomorrow afternoon. Fast forward to today (8/22), I made sure to check when they were open/closed and decided to drive up at about 2:00 to get to the store. It took an hour to get there and when I did there was a sign in the door that said "be back at 4:00". I am FURIOUS. I drove all this way for nothing and I am not waiting around for an hour for the employees to come back. I have to prepare for my week. Lunches/breaks should be staggered. You should be open and available during the times you list on your website and in the store. Completely unprofessional.

I had another ring that needed a prong and asked how much to fix this and they advised that they would have to send it out for an estimate. (uh no thanks) They sent my wedding ring out early Nov. they received it back 3 weeks later called and said it was not up to their standards and sent it back out and that it would be a week or so. A month yes a month later no email or call so I walked in and spoke to an associate. I advised I never received an email so I was checking on my ring. She rudely said emails are sent out automatically it was in my junk mail. I never delete mail and politely said no it was not... she rudely said well you have your ring now. I looked at my ring and almost cried and stated this looks horrible. The diamond is crooked and the prong is a big ball much larger than the others. I took my ring over to HEB jeweler and he fixed it for $32 yes $32. It now looks like my original ring and beautiful. A jeweler that is not able to fix a prong on a ring is like an accountant that is not able to add. I will never purchase or have any jewelry repaired there ever again, which is sad since I am in the market for an anniversary band. So disappointed.

Those summer slidies actually came from this location with me remembering decent customer service on that purchase. Total opposite experience today. I was greeted upon entering and that's about it. I'm 6 feet tall; some of the shoes were close to 9 feet in the air. No offer to use the stick thingy to help. 15 minutes later basically remaking a scene from White Men Can't Jump and I found my size. I then asked a staffer if he could remove the lenses from one style of frames. Here is my direction here...The wife has recently turned several pairs of sunglasses into AWESOME looking prescription frames. I got a big "Um, no" when I asked a guy to remove the dark lenses. I was ready to spend some serious dollars on multiple frames. Mrs. Rooster has been buying Prada frames which equals $$$; plus an additional $260 per frame to get her prescription into said frames. I was looking to convert some Gas Cans, possibly some Hollbrooks, and maybe some Crosshairs. After getting shot down on my simple request, I went to pay for my slides. That will be $60ish dollars. Umm, they are $30 according to the price tag. Strange cashier states that's each pair is $30. You mean $30 each left and right? Bullsnot! Then, I realized another pair of slides was to the left of my pair on the counter size 8. Yeah, not mine. One of the most AWKWARD retail experiences I've ever encountered. I would have spent more than your district manager's bi-weekly paycheck if there would have been some cooperation!
