One lady took my watch to get the battery replaced while another lady showed me the selection of jewelry. I wasn't really interested in the rings, but I asked if we could figure out my ring sizes for fun. She tried to advertise the sales, but I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and it was a nice time just chatting and figure out my ring sizes. --PRICE-- this is my first time getting my battery fixed for my watch, so I don't have any other places to compare to, but I was satisfied with the price. Original: $12.95 w/ YELP check-in: $10.82 She accidentally calculated and charged me $13, but I caught it and she immediately repaid the difference. It wasn't a hassle at all. The entire visit was pleasant and efficient. She even cleaned the metal parts of my watch. They couldn't clean the leather, however. Happy to support a local business. read more

The customer service here is absolutely superb and professional. I came in for a women's watch adjustment and the older gentleman assisting me was so patient and kind. I even had to come in again after deciding I wanted the watch looser after all and still treated me with the same courtesy. The best part is, they do the adjustments on the spot and it's only $12 (unless you have a special watch). I previously paid $25 for a watch adjustment from another place and it took several days. The service from the other spot was also a lot more hands-off. The workers at Watch Works are very attentive and not overbearing either. I originally came in to get a battery for my Mom's watch only, but I ended up finding a re-owned watch that was going to be perfect for my Mom for Christmas. In about two/three weeks my Mom called me to tell me her watch was not working, because she is 96, I thought she just didn't wined it incorrectly, so I told her I would come by and check. I did, and she was right. So, I bought the watch back, and Henry said they would check it out and give me a call when he get the status. Well, bad news the watch didn't work, so they did all they could to find the right watch for my Mom, but were not able to, so Nick the owner kindly refunded my FULL purchase back. If you check in on Yelp, you get a $3 off deal for battery replacement. My watch though is an Eco-Drive Citizen ( never needs a battery), but its bracelet (metal links) broke at one point and it took me ages to find a reputable, reliable place to get it fixed. Ten minutes or so after some unsettling pounding and hammering from behind the counter, I got it back, good as new. Total $12 bucks. I looked it over just to be reassured that all that hammering was necessary (I don't know why I thought it would be a silent repair thing, but watch repair seems to be on the same scale of silence as libraries, soooo.....) Huge selection too of watches, high end and mid range in stock, as well as jewelry. Definitely more spacious than the old location inside the Cerritos mall. read more

The Watch Works that was originally in the mall has moved out here, where it's in the same shopping center as Target, but in the food area that includes Five Guys, Starbucks, and the upcoming Fish Market. Parking isn't too bad, but we came in on a Monday versus a weekend. There is certainly a lot of foot traffic during the weekend. Now, they've only been moved in for approximately 11 days, now, so they are still trying to find their way around the store. Same employees, though, so service has been pretty awesome when the bf and I visit. We typically deal with Massoud, and he's one of the most knowledgeable and friendliest persons we've met. We probably wouldn't visit Watch Works at all if it wasn't for him. He has an idea of our tastes, knows other brands that may be similar that we may not have considered before, and will provide background knowledge of some of the watches that we never would have known. Anyways, good selection of used watches, with anything from G-Shocks to Longines. They have pocket watches, as well. They do have new watches, such as Seiko, Luminox, and Citizen, and they seem to also take requests if you have anything else you want. For example, they have a few Hamilton's, but I don't think they are a Hamilton dealer. It definitely doesn't hurt to ask, of course. Nice selection of watch boxes. Anyways, they're still getting settled in, but they are definitely more than happy to help out. Been coming here a few times for watch battery replacements and customer service is always great! Fast and easy service. Prices are reasonable and they also honor the yelp voucher, which is a bonus! They offer a free stamp card for each visit and when you complete it, the 10th visit is for a free battery replacement! I brought in another watch for resizing, given to me by mother-in-law as she had no use for it. When I picked it up from being resized, I was informed it was solar powered and instructed how to care for it which I found extremely helpful since I had no instructions for it! This review is about a month late but so worth the time. My father is vision impaired and gets decent looking talking watches from the VA but the bands break and he hates to waste the watch itself. His father (my dadushka) did watch repair way back so we know a fair deal. This place is super honest and looks like it has a lot of repeat business from when we were in there waiting as they patiently adjusted the better looking quality replacement bands they had in stock! I feel terrible updating this review, but Its only fair that I do given the situation. To be fair, this review isn't based on customer service, but lack of knowledge on a particular item, this being a vintage watch. To be specific, a 1975 Accutron Spaceview. To get to the point, Watchworks put the wrong battery on my watch, I called beforehand to ask specifically about the battery for this watch, and they sounded very confident that they knew what they were talking about. Well, as it turns out, the battery was the WRONG ONE and it made my watch falter. Causing my vintage watch to malfunction and resulting in extra expenses on my behalf. Lesson learned! My own personal opinion: DO NOT bring any vintage watches to be repaired or serviced here. This store is great if you want to replace your "standard" watch batteries or if you want to overpay for overrated watch brands, but they do not have the ample knowledge on vintage stock. Incredible place! Wonderful people! I had an old Fossil blue watch that I wanted to put back into operation so I would look at my cell phone less. The thing had been in a drawer for over 10 years, so of course it needed a new battery, and had a broken band pin. The gentleman put in the new battery, and said that it still was not working. I started to resign myself to having to buy a new watch, but, then he said he wanted to work with it a little bit. Well, his nibble hands, and tiny little tools did the trick! It was just a little bit Frozen. I know the reason it worked out at this place is because I handed my watch to a Craftsman with many years of experience. Needed overhaul on a watch, clasp fixed on another, and band replacement on another. Took care of the overhaul in a week (initially estimated time would be 2 weeks).
