We said we'll be back then. At precisely 6:30-ish my husband and I had returned. Walked into the store and I saw Nick and wave. The female employees acknowledged us for returning. So, I walked toward Nick for his service since we're the first people in the store. As I was walking toward him an older African man walked right up to him, shook his hand and sat down. Of course he go help first. OK! Wow! I couldn't of sworn were there first and we came back for the second time! But, older gentlemen got help first and .. completely ignored us. He did not bother to ask if we needed any help. Not cool! Did not expect that..not only from the older gentleman BUT from Nick himself!! I didn't appreciate it AT all!! As a watch enthusiast, I always need a "go-to" watch shop which I can rely on. However, after moving to OC, I was constantly looking for that "perfect" watch shop, but in vain. For the past year or so, I've been to 6-7 watch shops for over-hauls, wrist band adjustments, and etc. But all of the shops that I've visited, either lacked skill or had limited knowledge of a mechanic watch. Cheap and quick battery service for my Guess watch. They even took $3 off with my Yelp coupon and was not really strict about it. Most establishments would ask to see the coupon and when I volunteered to show the nice lady mine, she just waved it off and just took a quick glance. What I appreciated most was that they did not bother me with sales talk or tried to show me jewelry while I was waiting even though I was casually looking at their collection. I have taken several items to this place now and they have done an amazing job with each item. My dad has a very old watch that no longer worked after being damaged by water. It was supposed to be water proof but the guy who repaired it did not add the gasket back to protect it from water damage and did not say anything so it has not worked for years. Even though it no longer worked it is a very sentimental piece. We took it to Watch Works after many other failed attempts at getting it working before. They fixed it up beautifully and it doesn't lose any time which was always an issue with this watch. Their prices are very reasonable and they really seem to care about the quality of their work.
