From the time I received the first estimate from them, the price and what that price covered repeatedly changed upwards. After going into the store (were the estimates changed again), I picked out the type of cabinet I wanted, in the color stain I wanted it in, along with my countertop options. I told both Abel when he came out to take measurements and Flor when I made my final selection and paid an advance payment of $1500 that I didn't want painted cabinets and only wanted real wood with a stained finish. Today, almost 2 weeks after placing my cabinet and countertop order, I get a call stating the price quoted only included painted cabinets and they have to be that white or grey. Long story shorter, I immediately left work to go get my full refund. I live less than 2 miles from well established, reputable, wholesale mill works and stone yards in the Southbay area and will be taking full advantage of the higher quality countertop and cabinetry options, for lower prices, from local businesses around the corner from me in Gardena. FYI: They got the 3rd star from me because I never would have found out about the mills and stone yards in my area if they weren't trying to price gouge me on my cabinetry.

This was no easy RE-do, I have a good size backyard and it had 4 large concrete planters, a cabana that had seen its last days, weathered and beaten up, huge hedges throughout the yard dividing it up... it was once a beautiful oasis but over time turned into an overgrown jungle. So they demo'd while carefully keeping & working around what I wanted to keep. Re-built the cabana and added beautiful brick paver work around the cabana creating a walkway and sitting area, making the cabana appear larger and cozy. He put new grass and landscaping lights everywhere... Marvin is so efficient and sensitive to detail I don't even think of calling anyone else when a new job comes up. If he's busy, which has happened, I am more then happy to wait my turn for his expertise!!!! I know when he's working on my projects he is working hard, I'm sure he is doing the same for all his clients. While on a job he is always present and easy to talk to. He is happy to discuss the project with us (me & my husband) daily. Something else about Marvin and his crew is their professional attitude. We walked out of Eddie's place with an appointment and both my mom and I saying, "This is the guy." He came out, measured, and went to work. He absolutely KILLED the kitchen. It was done within a week or so and was cheaper than every other place we went to. Then earlier this year, my own kitchen had a leak and I needed to replace some cabinets because of water damage. I called Eddie. He matched the existing cabinets perfectly. And when he came out to look at the damage, he was honest with me: the other cabinets I had were decent quality and there was no reason to replace them. I really appreciated that.
