He didn't bother to show up continue to lie, and after doing business with him for years was thoroughly disappointed that he use God and his religion to scam me. The judge based on evidence, time pictures and more found in my favor more than 3 months again. I want to return his damaged cabinets and get my money back. This place was great Clearly they deal with big contractors that order a lot more stuff than I did. However it was clear that they still paid attention to me and made sure I got what I wanted even though I spent a relatively low number. We bought cabinets and drawers that were custom made. They knew we did not include an important measurement so they call us back, went over all the details, and made sure expectations were reset. At the beginning of every business relationship the one who is to make the money always puts their best foot forward. They promise to deliver on time, they are attentive to your every call and suggestions. But, as soon as they get the deposit, things change. They no longer answer the phone, it now goes to voicemail and when you call the shop; they are not there or they will arrive in the next 10-15 minutes. This business, use to be about business, now there are a bunch of people there who are unprofessional and unresponsive to their customers wants and needs. The individual who helped me design my kitchen name is Tony. Like l stated earlier, they want to help you all the way until they get that deposit. Then from there, it went down hill fast. I paid them $5600 down to get the cabinets started. He said, it will take a few days to put the prefabricated cabinets together. I said fine, gave an extra few days so that they can get everything done. He wanted to come and start on Tuesday, l said, let's start Thursday at 9am, since he said it will take three days to complete. l took off Thursday from work, in order for them to start the job. 9am Thursday came, no one shows up. l called Tony, no answer. l then call the shop, they don't know what is going on, so l make a bee line to the shop and the cabinets are just getting put together. So now, the cabinets are done and the installers arrive on time Friday morning at 8 (that's another story for another day). The installers do their thing, but they notice the materials Tony ordered are missing a few pieces and one whole cabinet, the handles, crown molding and the sink faucet. A week goes by, because I wasn't taking another day off from work so they can complete the job. Before the installers arrive to complete the job, l texted and called Tony to make sure that they have EVERYTHING to complete the job. He texts (he didn't answer the phone) and states, "yes", the installers have EVERYTHING! The installers are wrapping up and l notice that the faucet is not installed. l immediately call you know who and y already know the outcome of the call. l call the shop and they that the faucet is on its way to the shop now (12pm). It is now 4pm (8/15) and the faucet is still not here. I forgot to mention, my bill is paid in full! My kitchen is complete, minus the faucet, for now! I'm pleased with the installers, but I'm HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in the customer disservice that Tony provided. Guess what y'all, the faucet just arrive and they delivered it to the wrong addrwas... Unless you enjoy headaches and frustration, I'd recommend going elsewhere for your cabinets. My husband and I purchased cabinets from Dave's Depot from Tony, who works there. We also paid for installation. When the installers arrived and installed our cabinets, we realized that part of our order was incorrect. Tony originally said that this was what we ordered. Luckily, I had a printout and our receipt that showed we did not order what was installed. Tony then admitted that HE didn't save our final order and that's how the mistake happened. So he went ahead and ordered the correct cabinets which we had to wait WEEKS for. I followed up with Tony so many times and he went ghost on me. I literally had to drive up to the store to get an update. When the installer came back, he had to remove the incorrect cabinets (which left holes in our wall that we now have to pay to be repaired. When the installer finally came back to install the proper cabinets, we also noticed that we didn't get the proper spice rack cabinet that we ordered. When we mentioned it to the installer, he said it would be hard to go back now and install the correct spice rack. So now we're stuck with a small, narrow cabinet that serves absolutely no purpose. After everything was all done, I went back and asked Tony for a refund for the spice rack cabinet that we did not get. He said he would look into it. To this day, I haven't heard anything back from him or them. So, not only did they ruin our walls due to their mistake, but they didn't give us the cabinets that we ordered. Tony from Dave's depot came by to finalize the measurements on our cabinets, the contractor was asking him questions to clarify he was very rude to the contractor and the final straw was when he said quote "Fine, yes , whatever, if that is what you want to hear." And then he argued that it was impossible to center the sink under the window, then we showed him how, so not only was he rude and unprofessional, he was also not good at his job. read more

My mother was eager to purchase tile so she shopped around. First, she went to Dave's on her own just to look and shopped for prices. Stephanie (sales assistant) quoted her a price so my mother decided she would come back and bring me for my opinion. When we arrived, Stephanie was somewhat helpful. We asked for the price on the tile ,she said $4.90. Later, she said it wasn't per piece but for square feet (a little misleading). So,I told my mother we should wait and shop around. My parents deceived they would purchase the tile so they went later that same day and a different co-worker was there and he quoted something completely different not knowing my parents had previously been quoted something better by another of his co-worker (Stephanie). Clearly, they are on commission basis. *Please be aware that they quote prices inconsistently (items do not have prices). *Always ask about return or exchange policy (they will not refund you, your full purchase). The business that Dave Depot contracted to install our custom kitchen cabinets was absolutely horrible. The guy who was in charge wasn't even present because he decided to take a vacation so he had his helpers doing the installments. Needless to say the job was not done correctly and the helpers were definitely no help because they were told to go by what their boss told them do. Pieces were not measured and cut correctly placement was not done correctly so my husband and I told them to take everything that was done wrong back down. Unfortunately nothing could be done because we had to wait until their boss came back from vacation so we had to wait an extra week on top of another week to get the right pieces in. And even then things were still not done correctly when they came back. It was like almost a bother for this man to put up our cabinets correctly and nicely and we ended up with cabinets that had splintered wood separation between the wood panels/shelves a bad staining job and no railing system for the sliding cabinets that were supposed to be added. Would definitely not recommend using their people to install anything you're better off hiring someone on your own who takes pride in their work. After all this my husband refused to pay the full amount since we needed to get someone else to come fix the horrible job they did. read more

There are two Dave's on the same Street. This is 332 W. Florence, the other is 1219 E. Florence. Owned by two brothers, similar goods. I prefer 332 W. Florence (this one) location for more choices in tile. Went there today. Family type business, feels like an old-fashioned hardware store, stuff all over, but they have almost everything you need, cheaper than H. Depot. A bit short of help on a Sunday, it seemed. I found a good selection of glass mosaic tile I needed for remodeling an RV bathroom floor. Lovely colors!!! They also had the flexible backer board, and flexible grout I needed. Everything in an RV install has to be flexible to take the movement. Its hard to find these things. Both items were much cheaper than H.Depot. Parking in their tiny enclosed lot is tight. Service was understaffed, so okay. They could not find the model # for my tile, so have to call them to find out. Most tile is special order only. Alan the manager, helped me select nails, and gave me some tips on install. This Dave's had a better tile selection than the other one. See my review for them too. Prices on the tile was not so good, on the high side. I also did not find click-lock Engineered Tiger Stripe Bamboo flooring planks. Mostly hardwood and laminate, no clicklock. I called a few places looking for a quote on some custom cabinets. They were all ridiculously expensive and they didn't seem to know much about custom styling. I was referred to Dave's by a friend of mine in the construction business who is currently too busy to help me out. I called and I asked for the free estimate they offer on their website. The rep scheduled an appointment and came out that Saturday. They measured everything, including the tricky corners. The proposal was very thorough and the guy had answered all the questions I had. Needless to say, I called back on Monday and had them do it. The cabinets were delivered last week and installed. I will post a photo of the finished work on here shortly. Great prices on the granite counters top, but very disappointed with customer service. The young lady worker who will remain unnamed, gave us a package deal pricing of the granite along with the installation, it was a good price, but we had previously been quoted something better by another of her coworkers. According to them, since she had already told the boss of the deal we couldn't get the other better price. The price and the installation was agreed upon, and a partial payment was promptly rendered. When the work was arranged to be done, however, the young lady decides to recant on the arrangement without any change to the pricing. We go ahead because our kitchen by this point was turned upside down and we had already paid for the granite. When the workers arrived with the three pieces we purchased, the work went smoothly until it was time add a piece to our extra large sink counter. The worker decided to instead of using one of the pieces we bought, to use leftover pieces he had also brought with him. Leaving a very noticeable merge line and a noticeably different color granite. Unfortunately can't really blame the worker since nothing was put in writing, but definitely the employee from Dave's whose customer service will definitely keep me from referring more customers. If I can't trust the employees to give me good service I can't trust the business regardless the pricing. read more
