They tried to force it to lean so it would drain and even left a pump sticking out of a whole in the ceiling. They actually did that!! The unit itself should never have been installed in the first place as it did not fit in the space but we had no say in that. So Gerardo had a job on his hands and he did an amazing job! He corrected the drain issue left by the original company, removed the ridiculous pump, rerouted the drain the way it should have been in the first place and even put a second drain to be doubly sure. Now we have a drain connected to the sink plumbing, the tub plumbing and the overflow. We hired him again when we broke it during a remodel by running the AC while we were sanding drywall. It had to be removed from the ceiling to clean, which was a massive job. We recently had a third issue which he corrected and wasn't even going to charge me. I paid him anyway because it had nothing to do with the previous work he had done. I will also point out that Gerardo returns my text and calls nights and weekends. Twice he did not charge me for the visit. I think his prices are reasonable but I have not compared them. I will say, this guy works his butt off and he won't quit until it's working properly. During installation, he cleaned out HVAC with hospital grade cleaner that prevents mold growth, and he installed a UV light as an extra defense against mold growth. It was a big job and took longer than we both anticipated. His crew worked past 6 pm to make sure the air ducts were completely installed so my family and I could turn the heater back on overnight. Before he left for the evening, he also cleared out our dryer vent as an extra gesture. When he came back to replace the vent plates, he asked us our preferences and comfort level to adjust the airflow in different spaces throughout our home. We appreciated that extra step very much. He also recommended that we replace our emergency drip pan as it was rusted and could cause a leak at any moment.
