This is a must visit when I am back home. Food is amazing and the staff is the nicest around! Last night we had crab stuffed mushrooms to start. Very very good and a perfect size of mushroom, not the super big portabella. Then I had my go to Rueben. I think the best one I've had in a long time. (And I get them everywhere I go, trust me!) and huge! Lunch for the next day for me. Side of waffle fries too. He had waitress recommended a sausage and chicken pasta dish. Portion so big he couldn't even finish. And that is rare! Place is a gem of Williamstown so gets packed with locals. Bar was full when we got there at 6. Stop by and hang out and eat and drink. You'll love it! Cheers

We both had burgers and it was wonderful... Great service and a really fun place to stop by after you're at the Clark Museum or visiting Williamstown

It's a solid local tavern with good pub grub. We visited on Christmas Eve day for lunch and loved the festive atmosphere. It is a local spot. One surprising thing was the fact the restaurant did not carry any actual fresh eggs (we wanted a fried egg in a burger). Not having this made us all hesitate and change our order immediately- it simply makes you question all the other shortcuts the kitchen may be taking. Overall, it is a good place for lunch tavern grub.

Staying overnight on a ski trip I was looking for dinner and came up with the Water Street Grill on Yelp. Nice atmosphere and a good menu seemed like just what I was looking for. I was not really hungry so I decided that I would get the Fish Tacos. The menu description sounded good, but for whatever reason the taste of the tacos just did not come together for me. The fried fish was OK but just seemed to be overwhelmed by the other flavors. The waffle fries were generous and very good. Overall I just think that I ordered the wrong item from the menu and it looked like others in the restaurant were enjoying their meals. My experience at Water Street Grill was OK, but nothing special, I think that had more to do with what I choose then the rest of the menu.

This place was out of so many things we tried to order, and they only let us know way after the order was placed and after waiting for 5+ minutes. No steak or clam chowder. Perhaps it was for the best, as the food was extremely disappointing. Saltiest and burnt waffle fries, while the ribs were loaded with sodium and tough. I know small town restaurants can be hit or miss but this was a bigger miss than expected. Service was slow and inattentive.

Restaurant roulette continues in the Berkshires! Broke free of Lanesborough and Pittsfield this evening and headed North to Williamstown and tried our luck here. Great decision. Rustic interior and ample beer choices on tap. Hustling barkeeper on top of orders, drinks. Wasn't too hungry and didn't want to eat that much at 7:30pm. Opted for the meatballs appetizer and that was a 'just right' decision. 3 meatballs about the size of tennis balls with ample marinara sauce and topped with Ricotta cheese. I'd definitely come back again.

My family and I came here for dinner after going to the MassMOCA museum. I highly recommend this place. The only reason for taking one star off was that we got conflicting information regarding making a reservation. I called ahead since we had a large party of 7 people. I asked if we needed to make reservations and the woman on the phone said they didn't take reservations but that if we came over immediately they could seat us with no wait. We headed over immediately but when we got there we were told we needed reservations, a direct contradiction of the info I had just gotten on the phone. The staff was reasonably apologetic and after conversing and a few minutes wait they were able to seat us at the outside table. It was an unique space - a small patio space themed beach style with sand on the ground. Sadly there were a lot of bugs out there and the air conditioner blew the warm air into this space. But the food was so good and at a great price. We had the appetizer sized portions of the mussels and clams which were both really big, basically entree sized. The calamari with hot pepper marinara was good too and the green bean fries were awesome. Even though we were the only outside table the waitress didn't forget us and was really attentive. If you are in North Adams this place is great.

To its credit, there was ample variety within each course of the fixed-price-menu to satisfy vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters. Everything was superb (little gem's ceasar salad, a scrumptious cauliflower main dish, asparagus, steak, tagliatelle emiliana, chocolate budino, lemon olive oil cake, French fries, olive mixture, braised beef, doughnuts, etc.). One feels very welcomed by the hostess, the wait staff is efficient and unobtrusive, and the restaurant avoids the sin of many restaurants these days: blaring and abrasive music. We had a little mishap with our main course in that one arrived much later than the others, and a guest's braised beef dish was a little on the cool side. The waitress (Amanda M.) was extremely gracious in handling and remedying these issues. Thank you, Amanda M. I highly recommend.

The first time I came here, I actually did not eat or drink anything. That's because as I perused through the menu, the restaurant lost power from a thunderstorm. So they basically could not serve food for an unknown period of time. I thanked them for being informative and kind and moved on to a different spot for the evening meal. I decided to return a second time. The wings (Buffalo and garlic parmesan) were well-fried and flavorful. The risotto had too much balsamic vinegar on top, and the rice tasted a little sweet (think rice pudding). Both were turnoffs for me, and felt fortunate that it wasn't my order. The buffalo mac n' cheese was quite good, with a large portion that made it satisfying. Service was friendly and kind throughout and the decor was okay, though a little dark inside (even when they had electricity). This is a decent choice for food and it is on a main road.

The food is what I expect from a diner, service was good and quick, and the meals were solid. I bet there is something regional here that I am not used to so I will explain when we get to it. The first day I asked about the hash, that appears to come from a can so not what I wanted. I instead had the cheese omelet, sausage, potatoes, and corn muffin. They say they bake the muffins in house and this was a good one. They split it and grilled it with some butter and I this was fantastic. The cheese omelet was well prepared and great. The sausage was weird to me for breakfast as it was not what I know to be breakfast sausage but it was good. The potatoes were ok, kind of plain. The catsup tasted like some weird local brand so that was a disappointment. The second time we went I wanted the same thing but they were out of corn muffins! That turned out ok because the pancakes were great. The omelet was well prepared but I did not like the sliced sausage in it, I was expecting sort of a fold over omelet with ground sausage. Oh well, it was good. We will be back ini two years for the next Solid Sound. Hope to see the Moonlight too!

There are two gender neutral restrooms, which were well appointed but the floor was a bit slippery due to folks tracking in snow in the winter.
