Alfredo, and it comes with 2 garlic knots!
    Kelly G.

During my time living in Williamstown, my friends and I lived off of the half off appetizers on Mondays. It was such a great deal, and there were so many great things to pick from! We all really loved the garlic knots, and the cinnamon roll knots! Their burgers are also awesome, and their calzones are huge! My favorite thing on their menu had to be their alfredo. It is exactly the perfect meal for a rainy day (and its one of the only pasta dishes in town) My friends and I also loved coming for trivia every Thursday, especially when Masa ran the event! It felt like the whole town got together every week, it was the most fun I've had in a long time. We also liked playing the board games supplied by the door if we came for drinks or snacks on other days of the week. Overall the place is so much fun, and just a really great place to gather. The whole staff is so friendly, and they get to know the regulars. Love it here!!

This place is amazing . The building has amazing features in it . It doesn't seem like something that would be in Berkshires. There is amazing food , service and a great atmosphere . It's very cozy and comfortable here . I love everything about it !

Some relatives and I had the most exquisite of lunches here today! I had a half salad for which I got to pick a green and 4 ingredients. After a thorough study of the menu, I chose curried cauliflower, apples, roasted beets and 'seasonal vegetables' which translated to asparagus. The plural there was a bit misleading I chose the basil pesto as a dressing and also added goat cheese for one additional dollar. This salad was everything I could have wished it to be. It had a vibrant freshness, every ingredient brought spectacular flavour and texture. The beets and cauliflower especially. Though it wasn't provided in plenty, the goat cheese is an addition I would recommend. It made everything creamy and therefore even more amazing. The half salad portion was really perfect, and if you were to choose grains instead of greens it would certainly be filling enough for a full meal. Our table of three also shared the mushroom truffle ricotta pizza. To live for. The distant lemon taste of the ricotta in combination with the rich taste of truffle oil and roasted mushrooms, and everything melting into a thin, crisp and golden crust. The smell of truffles and herbs that expanded across our table when this perfect pizza was placed on the table was dizzying in its splendor. Between our individual orders (my aunt had a half salad similar to mine and called it one of the best salads she'd ever eaten and my uncle's grilled cheese, which he added ham and tomato to, was just as extensively praised) and the pizza, we had a happy surplus of food-meaning that the leftover half of pizza is now in my possession!! All this incredible food was made even more enjoyable by the cozy lodge aesthetics that surrounded us. And the service was spot on. Our waitress was attentive and kind. She came by many times during the course of the meal to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. Though when I realized a few bites into my salad that the curried cauliflower was nowhere to be found, she was sincerely apologetic and brought some instantly. It did take a while for us to get our food, which seems to be a primary complaint here on yelp, but this meal was a social gathering for us so we didn't mind. For lunch we found the prices to be a great value, and I look forward to using the 30% student discount in the future.

Beautiful timber interior - real mortise & tenon construction if you're into that sort of thin.

To its credit, there was ample variety within each course of the fixed-price-menu to satisfy vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters. Everything was superb (little gem's ceasar salad, a scrumptious cauliflower main dish, asparagus, steak, tagliatelle emiliana, chocolate budino, lemon olive oil cake, French fries, olive mixture, braised beef, doughnuts, etc.). One feels very welcomed by the hostess, the wait staff is efficient and unobtrusive, and the restaurant avoids the sin of many restaurants these days: blaring and abrasive music. We had a little mishap with our main course in that one arrived much later than the others, and a guest's braised beef dish was a little on the cool side. The waitress (Amanda M.) was extremely gracious in handling and remedying these issues. Thank you, Amanda M. I highly recommend.

The first time I came here, I actually did not eat or drink anything. That's because as I perused through the menu, the restaurant lost power from a thunderstorm. So they basically could not serve food for an unknown period of time. I thanked them for being informative and kind and moved on to a different spot for the evening meal. I decided to return a second time. The wings (Buffalo and garlic parmesan) were well-fried and flavorful. The risotto had too much balsamic vinegar on top, and the rice tasted a little sweet (think rice pudding). Both were turnoffs for me, and felt fortunate that it wasn't my order. The buffalo mac n' cheese was quite good, with a large portion that made it satisfying. Service was friendly and kind throughout and the decor was okay, though a little dark inside (even when they had electricity). This is a decent choice for food and it is on a main road.

The food is what I expect from a diner, service was good and quick, and the meals were solid. I bet there is something regional here that I am not used to so I will explain when we get to it. The first day I asked about the hash, that appears to come from a can so not what I wanted. I instead had the cheese omelet, sausage, potatoes, and corn muffin. They say they bake the muffins in house and this was a good one. They split it and grilled it with some butter and I this was fantastic. The cheese omelet was well prepared and great. The sausage was weird to me for breakfast as it was not what I know to be breakfast sausage but it was good. The potatoes were ok, kind of plain. The catsup tasted like some weird local brand so that was a disappointment. The second time we went I wanted the same thing but they were out of corn muffins! That turned out ok because the pancakes were great. The omelet was well prepared but I did not like the sliced sausage in it, I was expecting sort of a fold over omelet with ground sausage. Oh well, it was good. We will be back ini two years for the next Solid Sound. Hope to see the Moonlight too!

I'd totally return here if in the area again but, IMO, it didn't quite live up to the hype of earlier reviews. The food's definitely solid but not at the level I'd make a special trip here. There are two gender neutral restrooms, which were well appointed but the floor was a bit slippery due to folks tracking in snow in the winter. They may want to consider extending some mats to the restrooms. I was worried about my Mom, who is a senior with some mobility issues, slipping on the floors near the bathrooms.
