Jill Marie is one of the best!! She definitely made our time eating at the Chef's Hat a most enjoyable experience. Food and the staff are absolutely worth dining at this cozy restaurant.

This location is open, not sure why it's closed on Yelp. Super friendly staff and huge portions. If you like corned beef hash, I'd recommend trying there's -- it's all made in house. Cash only.

My hometown go to breakfast spot! Cheap great breakfast items. Whenever I visit, this is where I go. Only downfall is the limited seating.

So we retuned and to start things off we asked for a bread basket . We were told none and we had to order their French Bread app The bread came and it wasn't French Bread but Ciabatta toasted with some very good EVOO and whipped butter. We thought okay no big deal we're excited for our pasta dish A short time later our pasta dishes came and much to our surprise, the Pappardelle pasta was substituted with Mafaldine, a much heavier dough. Very disappointed but not as much as their response to us via Open Table. So when planning your dinner at this place remember to ask the server to confirm the dish contents prior to ordering.

The…read moresauce was very good however we were disappointed because the menu states pappardelle noodles and we were given mafaldine pasta. This changes the whole dish. The pappardelle noodles would have been much lighter than the mafaldine. The waitress didn't even say they were replacing the pasta with a different pasta they just brought it out. We also ordered the French bread that came with butter and oil. It is a very relaxed atmosphere inside with comfortable chairs.

Made a reservation and went here…read morerecently before a MassMOCA event, knowing full well that they'd be inundated with diners before the show, so we tried to order simple small dishes. When we got to the location, which is in a food court in an old mill complex, we promptly called to say "we can't find you, but we're here." We got sketchy directions from the guy on the phone, who gave up our table five minutes after the rez time, despite our calling. Really? The hostess was sweet and made good on the error. She sat us at a fine table. Another woman came and gave us menus, but we had no idea if she was our server or not. After waiting (and waiting), we saw someone going to a large table seated after us, so we asked to get our orders taken -- very politely. The hostess did so. The food came, but there was one entree missing. We dared to ask the server, who had given us the menus, if it was coming. She flew off the handle, talking about having only two hands, then threw tongs for the chicken wings on the table. The hostess returned to tell us the order was never put in, and felt badly about it. The hostess couldn't have been nicer or more apologetic for this bizarre behavior. We were fully aware of the pressure and were trying to make things easier by ordering fast and simple things, and even giving our credit card early to save time. I should add that ALL the food was great. They just didn't handle pressure, nor give respect to the customer in this case. We gave the hostess a good tip, and we hope to $%^& that she didn't have to share it with her immature, temperamental co-workers. It's too bad it turned out that way, since I have seen great reviews here. Can only convey our experience, though.

We were nearby for Solid Sound and looking for breakfast. We liked Moonlight enough that we went…read moretwice. Moonlight is a diner with some rock and roll decor to remind you of Elvis I guess. The food is what I expect from a diner, service was good and quick, and the meals were solid. I bet there is something regional here that I am not used to so I will explain when we get to it. The first day I asked about the hash, that appears to come from a can so not what I wanted. I instead had the cheese omelet, sausage, potatoes, and corn muffin. They say they bake the muffins in house and this was a good one. They split it and grilled it with some butter and I this was fantastic. The cheese omelet was well prepared and great. The sausage was weird to me for breakfast as it was not what I know to be breakfast sausage but it was good. The potatoes were ok, kind of plain. The catsup tasted like some weird local brand so that was a disappointment. The second time we went I wanted the same thing but they were out of corn muffins! That turned out ok because the pancakes were great. The omelet was well prepared but I did not like the sliced sausage in it, I was expecting sort of a fold over omelet with ground sausage. Oh well, it was good. We will be back ini two years for the next Solid Sound. Hope to see the Moonlight too!

A very authentic, small-town cafe. No frills, but really good food, and friendly staff. Recommended!read more
