They came early last year to do maintenance for $300 and it worked for 30 days and stopped working for over a year. It is impossible for owner to verify if the system work or not until you check salt level drop. They just came and charged $390 and it still does not work properly. You can just buy brand new water softener system from Home Depot for $550.

Meritage Homes hired them for free drinking water install so I thought why not. $1500 for a filter and $5,500 for both a filter and softener. The filter alone was insufficient as I was still breaking out in hives. I asked to speak with someone to work something out since $5,500 is an arm and a leg and I haven't heard from anyone though I've been reaching out since November 29th. Someone by the name of Ev said he was trying to call me back last night but it wasn't going through. I called back last night and today 5 times and my call is being "forwarded" to voicemail. I need help from the Yelp community on how I can get this filter uninstalled so that I can work with a different company. I don't want to have to take Zyrtec in order to avoid hives after taking a shower. It's been a true nightmare working with Dupure. I would say don't risk it because if the filter doesn't work as it should they will avoid you.

This was the most aggravating sales experience Ive ever had…read morein my life. I was actually considering purchasing one of these units until the sales people came knocking on the door at 8 pm. My dumb self let them in thinking it was the people to install the free water filter. Long story short Kendra knocked on the door, said that they were here for the water, so I agreed to let her in the house. She goes to the car, gets out a salesman named Scott and literally leaves him at my house. Now I understand a salesman has to make money, so I'm sitting here listening and halfway curious, but he would not leave... we asked 3 times and he wouldn't leave. It was to the point that I felt they may have had ulterior motives. He did the test, and called Kendra with the super scripted 'report' to which I overheard her freaking out on the other end of the line like she is genuinely concerned for my family's well being. Then came the discounts.... from $10,000 to $9,000 to $8,000 to 7,000 down to $74 per month. And for some reason they feel the need to include 4 years worth of soaps. If the water is so good, why can't we use any soap? Why does it have to be theirs? Finally after 10:00 they finally leave and I was pissed. Come to find out the correct water company showed up a few days later and gave us a free filter and did another test, with much better results as well. I don't think I've ever had my intelligence insulted quite like I have with these cheap sales tactics. IF I were to purchase one of these systems, it will be from an ethical company who does not come sneaking in at 8 pm acting like they know me. Totally tasteless and selfish sales tactics.
