Like most reviewers said, the ambiance and views are great! However, if you are sitting at the bar, that's where all the 5-star magic ends. I wanted this place to work out and even gave it two chances but there is something not right with the bar staff. After paying a ridiculous price for a single pour of whiskey, I sat with a menu in front of me for about 30 minutes. During that time, several bar staff did their thing right in front of me apparently oblivious to a human trying to make eye contact with them to order. That never happened. No one asked if I wanted a refill, water or even to order. No one said hello or even tried to make idle chit chat. Apparently they were too busy chewing the fat over who was on schedule and who was not. I don't know who all these 5-star reviewers are but they certainly did not seem to be visiting the same place. Or their acceptable service levels must be extremely low. Try harder people. Things are expensive and diners expect excellent service levels at the price you charge for outdoor dining. read more

Thai shrimp were great everything else amazing great views as well. Ate inside. Service was great they boxed our leftovers for us.

We went to the restaurant before and got decent service at the bar so I'm giving you an extra star for that. We went to the bar this after noon to get a drink and it was a bit busy. There was one seat and I sat and my husband stood. The bartender looked right through us. I gave him the benefit of the doubt the next time he looked my way. He began wiping down the countertop in front of me still not acknowledging I was there. Apparently he did see me because he slid two menus to me and turned around again not acknowledging me. Not a hi or welcome or I'll be right with you. He comes back 5 minutes later and says what can I get you. My husband who had a certain beer the last time we were there and couldn't remember it said there some military beer whats it called ? As he scanned the menu. The bartended turned around and went down the bar and began talking to someone else. Dark hair kind of short with a horrible attitude. So, I just wanted to make you aware that your bartenders need some work on customer service. A nice Saturday afternoon shot and it's a shame because we tip well and are actually really nice people. What a wonderful experience having lunch on the water at this restaurant. The lunch menu had lots of options and the food was delicious. Our server, Monica, was over-the-top fantastic in her attention to our table and her friendly personality. Amazing atmosphere, dinner was cooked to perfection. The only downside was the table near us was a customer from hell. Her husband appeared mad and embarrassed by her rude behavior. As the manager and server did everything to make her happy she complained constantly. Our meal was perfect and our server was excellen! The same server hells guest had. This is a new restaurant where Mulligans used to be. The setting is a 5+ right on the water. Secondly, they redid the decorations and they are very nice. Thirdly, the food was new and exciting. I ordered the clams and I won't tell you how they come, but you will be pleasantly surprised! They were tasty. Finally, the service was great. It was noon in July but since it is on the water, it was not too hot sitting outside with the fans, etc. They were still working on the inside but I would not hesitate to eat outside at this setting, even in the summer! read more

The location was great, right on the water. Each table has a nice view of the water. The food was great. I totally recommend the bacon jam appetizer, but everything we had was delicious. The place is very newly opened so the staff is still trying to get it together. The wait was long but hanging around on the water made the wait seem part of the experience. Can't recall a worse experience in a restaurant of this level. I am giving them two stars because they have done a great job with the physical venue and of course the view is great. Though we eat out at least once a week, often twice, we have put off trying this place after reading so many bad reviews and wanting them to have time to iron out issues. Sad to say we perhaps didn't wait long enough though not likely top return after our experience. Four of us arrived at 6pm on a Sunday night. They were perhaps 1/2 -2/3 full though the best view tables were all taken. The young ladies at the hostess stand were friendly, professional and welcoming. We put in our name for a table and waited in chairs at the railing/boardwalk. After 10 minutes we were able to order drinks from a waiter. So far all good. After about 10-15 minutes our table was ready (right beside where we were already sitting). Shortly thereafter a different waiter comes to our table for drink order. We tell him we had already ordered but never received. He tells us that waiter we had place order with quit though we clearly saw him walking around the restaurant for the entire time we were there. We once again place our drink order. After 10 more minutes a "manager" (quotations intended) gruffly says our drinks are coming, new waiter comes to our table with wrong drinks they claim were from our original order. He then says he will start over. We now wait about another 20 minutes. Having now been there for 45 minutes, no waters no drinks, the four of us get up and walk out. Sorry can't comment on food as we were wanting dinner...not breakfast based on their service. read more

My husband and I are locals that been visiting downtown Stuart for years. We were familiar to the old mulligans which is now the water front restaurant. We had a pleasant experience with our friends for a Friendsgiving lunch on the day before thanksgiving day. We decided to go again today 12/27/23 weather was beautiful and figured why not a table by the water. Unfortunately for us it seemed a bit busy so our table was on the back corner. We made the best of it and ordered drinks and one appetizer... we noticed the staff were not prepared for the volume of customers and think it became overwhelming for them. We waited for the appetizer atleast 30min... then we were not acknowledged for a while, my husband and I were hesitant to order dinner because of how long the appetizer took. We decided to leave somewhere else. The table we were sitting was ok but right under a speaker which was a little too loud when we tried having a conversation, other then that I believe the place is great once the staff is prepared for season times. We will definitely try going back summer days when it's a bit slower. read more

Bad service, food was mediocre for the price. It's a great view and location but definitely price is not worth the food quality. Had two appetizers and one drank and our bill was over $60. Our waitress come over to take our drink and food order never came back with silverware (had to wave someone else down for silverware) or to check to see how our food was. I have visited Waterfront three times, two of which were for lunch. The food has been consistently good, especially the burger, clams, and lobster bisque, which is loaded with lobster! They do still seem to be working out some wait staff/service kinks, and a couple of the employees were quite abrupt and unfriendly. It has a great deal of potential, so I hope they work on improving their service. read more

The ambiance is lovely; they really did a wonderful job with the remodeling of the space. The food was tasty, but they oddly serve dry tortilla chips as a side item with some dishes. (No salsa or anything.). We asked for some and our server told us they get asked about that all the time. Seems like an easy fix, so perhaps the wait staff isn't bubbling that up to management, so I have here. ;). The drinks were expensive. Service was really slow. It took about 15-20 minutes for drinks and refills and the food took almost an hour. (Table of 5 adults.) They are still new, and working out some of these things takes a bit of time. This place should be handing out gift cards to all the disgruntled people leaving after they get seated...literally worse than an ER waiting room. Every part of our trip there was waiting. We were fine with waiting for our table, but standing at the bar for 40min to get one drink??? While standing at the bar, we saw many drinks get sent back and even watched a bartender give a customer a beer with a jagged broken top that got sent back. After finally getting seated, we waited a solid 30min before getting up to leave after not even one person coming to say we will be right with you. Nice view though! read more

I was able to stop by Waterfront on their opening night, and (having known what Muligan's was prior) I cannot speak highly enough of this new restaurant!! The remodeled downstairs is set up perfectly with any/all vibes one could want from a waterfront location: TVs, couches, doc-side tables, and an incredible VIP lounge area. The staff was so welcoming and extremely on point. The Stuart area has needed something like this and wow did ownership deliver - they had a vision and truly made a one of a kind environment. Can't wait to be a regular at Waterfront Stuart! read more

Went to this restaurant on Friday night. Had reservations. Parking was a challenge, we ended up parking next door which was fine. The hostess was very nice. We are upstairs. They switched our table so that we were by the windows. We loved that. Our waitress, Kristin was amazing. She interacted with us. She knew the menu well. Answered all our questions. There were 4 of us. My husband had the salmon which was delicious. I had the snapper, it came with couscous but I asked if I could change that for risotto. No problem. The risotto was delicious. The snapper was delicious. Nice and light with mango salsa. We had the avocado wedges as an app. That was delicious as well. All our meals came out hot. Kristin stopped by just to make sure we had all we needed but it was not too often. Just enough. If you eat upstairs ask for Kristin she's a great server. We loved our meals and will be back. read more
