Since the beginning of the year, when they had their water problems, this place is not in the same. Every time I go, they seem to have a new but different problem. Also, it is so frustrating when the members line is longer than the nonmembers line. They need to find a way to be able to accommodate their members before they accommodate The general public. Ok so I was rushed as I had to meet people shortly. I took KY car here again (yes I know, but I always believe in 2nd and 3rd chances) well, this place failed yet again. This time I wanted a wash and wax. The young lady at the entrance was very pleasant and knowledgeable in what she was doing. It ended there. Upon going through the wash someone is supposed to be at the exit to direct you where to park if you are receiving additional services. Well there was no one there when I pulled out and of course the car coming through behind you so I just pulled up and blocked another car that was there finally after about 2 minutes a kid comes over and I have to literally ask him where I can park and go over under the side of the curb and then walks away to keep talking on his phone. But then my car sits there for 10-12 minutes before anyone acknowledges anything. The rest of it was just an elongated wait time to wait for them to finish detail in the car which by the way still had spots on it after all that. Not at all happy with the so called famous hand wax for $37.44. The staff does not pay attention to detail and the standard is not to give you a clean car, the standard is dictated by the car washer. I pointed out the lack of detail by the staff to the manager and little was done to investigate the lack of detail by his staff. I have gone to this car wash since the wash cost $19.99, I will not be returning and will be giving the new car wash service at the gas station just 100 yards to the north. I have to update my review and give out a coveted 5 star review to this place for outstanding service and honesty I received on October 19th. I have taken my car here about 25 times in the past 5 years and they do a very good job with detailing my car for a reasonable price - but I avoid the crowded weekends. On my last visit on October 19, after I drove thru the wash and dropped my keys with an attendant under the canopy, I walked over to McDonalds for a snack as I don't like to hang out there as it is noisy and uncomfortable. I set my iphone to 25 minutes and when the alarm went off, I walked back to see if my car was done. When I approached my car, one of the employees (I wish I remembered his name) came up to me and handed me a crumpled up $50 bill and said he found it stuffed in the back of the seat of my car. I was stunned at the honesty and professionalism that this employee offered me. I gave this man a $25 tip for a $40 car detail and then went to find the manager and share this wonderful story with him. Lately, every time I go there the lines are messy as heck, people want to enter the line from the wrong way of the road and they have nobody organizing or saying anything to the ones trying to cut the line, not fair for others waiting for more than 25 minutes for they to let other people cut the line just because they are in the other side of the road, im sorry but they need to go around and make the line like everybody else, this place is way too crowded the waiting time is way too long because is so busy, is just not worth your money your time for the type of wash you are getting now, their car wash is not even close to what it was before, tires dont come up shine at all, the wax clear coat and weather guard they advertise and charge way more for it, is even they are just putting water o or using very low quality now since they have so many vehicles coming in, I have no idea what are they doing but there is no wax on that, honestly, the past 2 car washes are not better than the $4.95 car wash from the gas station in the corner. After having so many car washes in my life and really looking into it this place is completely not worth the money. For a "full service" that ends up being $29 with taxes and a tip you get an extremely mediocre car wash. First of all you car has to go through a washing machine thats not touch-less and barely cleans your car on the outside which also applies the so called hot wax(?) and they end up "cleaning" the interior of the car which they barely touch. For this amount of money you can actually get a $30 washe that goes to you and does a much better job, the inside and outside of my car looks the same as when I came in. I had the worse experience with this place They overcharged me in more than 300 than a year I asked fo the basic unlimited exterior car wash and using the free vacuums - that's what I did for almost a year I was charged around 20.00 for June and July 2020. From august 2020 to April 2021 I was charged for the full service 58.84 Note: I was not aware of the update on the service OR of the raise of my monthly payments. This place was awful I'm really not the type to writes reviews but I feel like I can save someone from wasting their money. After they " cleaned " my car there was still sand everywhere there was still areas that needed to be wiped they used a shine but it was in patches all over my car. They didn't even wipe, vacuum, they just slapped some shine on it. After going inside to ask what exactly was done and notifying them that my car was still dirty they offered to clean it again and to me that's just ridiculous should have done it right in the first place. The past few times I've been here I was disappointed but I figured I would give them another shot because they used to be my favorite car wash. This time, I was beyond disappointed. While they were cleaning my car I was on the phone so I didn't pay attention, and I don't like pointing out things they missed when I walk back up to my car. I got into my car to drive off and immediately noticed that they didn't even wipe my dash board down! I still had fingerprints on the radio and smudge marks near my AC control. I still had streak marks on my back window... and they didn't even vacuum my trunk! After years of coming to this car wash I'm sad to say that I won't be returning. I used to wash my car here all the time and I either got the $30 in and out wash or drove by for the after hour special but today I paid $48 for the hand wax and complete wash and it was a complete waste of time. They took 45 minutes and didn't get the tar or bugs off my car, there was dirty spots all over like they didn't even wipe it down, check out the pictures. When I came to pick up my car the guy tells me my paint is bad (even though my car is brand new) and I need to come back for the clay bar wax because he can't take the bugs or tar off the car. I sell cars and usually can tell when someone is full of BS. I wanted to ask for a manager but I was late for work so I drove off. Later that day I went to Auto Zone, bought a $6 spray and took care of the bugs and tar in 5 minutes. Armor All was not used in the interior like I asked and there was still dust in certain places on the dash. Don't waste your money or your time, go somewhere else. I went to this car wash for the very first time. They broke the latch on my seat when they were vacuuming. Instead of telling me it was broken they let me drive away. I turned around and went back before I was even out of the plaza. They then told me that since my car was newer it was probably covered under warranty. I spent 4 hours at the car dealership and yes they fixed it. I was offered nothing for my troubles and my time to go get it fixed. Not even a complimentary wash. I complained to management who reassured me they would handle it but never followed up with me. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE WAY of DOING BUSINESS. NEVER GOING BACK!!!! I decided to give this place a try since they were close to my house. I paid $35 for a wash, interior cleaning, and specifically asked for leather cleaning/conditioning. When they returned my truck to me, I pulled out of the detail bay and drove around the corner of the building to inspect. Pictures below can show that they did not do a good job and I decided to just do it myself correctly. As seen, there was still a lot of dirt/spills on the center console, dash and door panels. The carpet still had a French fry that was so easily able to be reached. I will not be going back as it was a waste of time and money. read more

Worst. Front/hood NEVER gets clean. The slightest bit of bird poop or tree droppings never come off. With Full service the inside is NEVER dusted thoroughly. Ever. This place is total and complete chaos. If you are only there for a exterior and interior vacuum, there are only four slots available for this type of service. And 2 if those slots are really make shift areas in their own right. You have to wait in line and then cut into the same line with everyone trying to enter the car wash to get to the area where they perform the interior services. Maneuvering your car into the small spots is a complete and utter fiasco. I consider myself to be a pretty skilled driver, but this obstacle course even put my skills to the test! The wash it self is fine, nothing special but I do feel the price is a bit high for what you actually end up getting. The staff are decent. However, once the service is over you must then navigate through the line of cars that are once again entering the car wash just to exit. On top of everything, your freshly cleaned car is now subject to all of the water and overspray exiting the tunnel of the car wash on your way out. Whoever designed this needs to be relieved of all their duties effective immediately. No sense paying $30 for a car wash and then getting water marks on it right as you leave from the dirty water coming off of other cars in the tunnel. Completely ridiculous. Giving this place two stars... 1 for ludicrous design of the place and and extra because the people who do the actual work are hardworking. If management wants some help designing the car wash from a common sense customer, I am offering my services free of charge! read more

Their business practices are despicable. They sold me 2 recurring memberships for 2 cars. They quoted me $20/month. For the first 2 months, it was actually $20 plus tax. But then it went up to $35/month per car plus tax! I called the company twice. No one would return my call. I tried to cancel my membership on the website, couldn't do it. I went to the Carwash and spoke to the manager who promised to take care of it and call me, still haven't heard from him and see I have been charged again. I was a member but cancelled after 1 month was forced to take another month because the cancellation time had gone by and you could not cancel online - how convenient!! The Quality of a basic wash seems to have been better in the past but for 8.00 you get no spray wax - no tire shine and last 2 times I was dissapointed at the job and had to do further cleaning when I got home. There used to be offers for the handwax for under 30 was a good deal, now all the fine print you dont get the same service for the price, and they no longer publish coupons for this service that I'm aware. I'm writing an update to my experience at Express Car Wash. Strangely, I'm writing this not because I feel compelled to, but rather, I've been requested by the management to do so. As such, I am honoring their request specifically because: 1. After waiting for more than a week from a reply from management to the issues I had mentioned earlier, I decided to write one last ditch email to illicit some type of a response. Within minutes of pressing "send" I heard from upper management who was astonished of my claims and immediately ferreted out what happened. WIthin an hour, I had been recontacted by management - both at corporate and at the store level in an attempt to "right" the situation...both with apologies, assurances and gifts. 2. Specifically, the corrective measures included two gift cards valued at $25 each, several verbal apologies (both in person and via telephone), and a number of written emails. I've been assured that multiple employee meetings have occurred in order to prevent/diffuse the issue. Finally, I've been offered the direct telephone numbers of several employees/managers so that I could reach out immediately in the event I experience any more difficulties. So what do I think now? Clearly - as I had hoped - this is a business run by humans. We all make mistakes (and I certainly made about 100 before 9am today). What sets us apart, hopefully, is that the good number of us attempt and succeed at correcting those mistakes we make. So is the case with Express Car Wash. It may have taken an unusual effort to reach the correct humans to acquire a response, and it was well worth it. To that end, I'll look forward to using my gift card and giving Express Car Wash another chance to earn my business again. Most importantly, I would recommend that you do the same too. Warning regarding this Company:Last month my car was scratched up while being washed. I am/was a member and called and left multiple messages for my membership to be cancelled as well as discuss the car damage. The corporate office has still never returned any of my calls and has now fraudulently charged me for another month after my attempts to cancel the membership. This company runs a membership scam, they make it impossible to cancel the membership because you have to call in, no one will answer and no one will return your call. I am now forced to take legal action and not just civil action, but I will am stuck filing a criminal complaint for fraud. A company cannot mislead you into purchasing a membership stating you can cancel anytime and then make it impossible to cancel. This was not worth the headache, especially considering the car wash was usually sub par. read more
