When you enter the office, you are greeted by friendly staff who know what they're doing. All of the paperwork is automated and you just need to review and then sign the tablet. No paper, no pen, and since they populate most of the info for you from you insurance and ID cards, it's a huge time saver. There was zero wait time and I was called back into a room by the very amicable and professional, Valentina. She asked all of the pre-visit questions and really took copious notes on the reason for my visit and some historical questions. Once we were done, she quickly conferred with Daisy and then Daisy was in the room within a few minutes. Daisy was fantastic. She really listened to what had been going on, created a diagnosis and strategy and very thoroughly explained what she believed was happening, why it was happening and the steps we were going to take to get it under control. She wrote down the steps I needed yo take and gave me a couple of free samples to get me started. Check out was just as easy. Made the follow up appt for two weeks later, as per Daisy's request and off I went. It's been 4 days and my skin is getting back to it's warm and glowing self and just when I couldn't rave more about RSB Dermatology- I get a sure rise call from Daisy this morning to check on my progress. Shut the front door!! When does that ever happen? Apparently, it happens all the time here. So, long story extra long, I highly recommend and look forward to my next appt. I've been to him many times with everything from a lousy wart (most likely from mistakenly kissing a toad instead of frog during that last Wilton Manors bar crawl) to nasty squamous cell cancer and he came through, successfully treating me every time. Your skin is the biggest most exposed, particularly in Florida, organ of your body and it's a good idea to look after to take care of and discover any situation before that situation becomes a problem.

Let me start off by saying Dr. Green is very nice. However, his team's billing practices need to be…read morecarefully scrutinized. Do not fall for having to pay upfront costs outside of a copayment mandated by your insurance company. The doctor's billing team told me they knew what my plan would pay and what I would be responsible for; they wanted the money upfront. Rather than cause I scene, I paid. I called my insurance provider as soon as I got home and had a three-way conference call with the billing dept from Dr. Green's office. My insurance carrier said they were not to charge me but the Dr's office insisted they knew better than the insurance representative. A couple of weeks went by and I viewed my Explanation of Benefits. It turned out that I wasn't to be charged at all. Dr. Green's office owed me money. I had to wait another 2 weeks to get paid the money they wrongfully took from me. They apologized and said they would change their ways but that the carrier's website was wrong. That is not true because they said they did it all the time without issue when I had the conference call. Think of all the other people they may have done this to. Are they giving them back their money? Finally, if they perform a procedure that requires off-site lab analysis, make sure you know the costs upfront from the provider they use. I got a separate bill from their go-to lab and was shocked. My insurance provider paid a third of their bill. I looked up the codes and services charged and the going rate for the market we live in... OVERCHARGED by the lab but could do nothing about it. I was told it was because of my insurance plan's deductible requirements. Yeah right, just like I was told they knew what my plan would charge when they collected upfront money before submitting their billing paperwork to my carrier. To Dr. Green - you're very nice and I believe you care about your patients. However, this is a fix on your end that's needed to gain trust. Your billing team apologized but you never did. They work for you. Also - I've heard from others that there's too much of a push for lab work during a visit. Unnecessary justification is given.

I arrived to my first appt 30 mins early (2:00 pm) to complete the mountain of paper work every new patient has to do. The receptionist did not check me in until almost 3. When I asked how much longer they said only a few mins. Then a nurse calls me in. After another nurse comes in the room they begin with all the usually questions. When they finished I asked how much longer because I have to get back to work. She responded with "everyone gets sick right? So your office needs to understand" I'm not sick. They left my door open and I could hear everything the doctor was talking about with another patient. Hmmm there is a thing called HIPPA ever heard of it? After hearing about his trip and the wine that he drank I had enough and left. When I went to the counter and asked for my money the girl tried to keep it. I said I never saw the doctor so you can't charge me the co-pay. I rescheduled for another day. This office moves incredibly slow. When I arrived there was no one in the waiting room. So it's not like they were super busy. Yesterday was my 2nd appt and I arrived 3 mins past their cut off. They said that I couldn't see the doctor because i arrived late. Really!!! but you can have patients waiting an HOUR AND HALF!!! I can't say much for the doctor since I never saw him. I have made a complaint with my insurance and they will do an investigation into this office and their practices. Know your rights. IF you don't see the doctor they can't keep your co-pay.
