I am traveling with my new kitten and she got diarrhea and I had to take her to the ER. She is fine now but I wanted to get her a bath before driving back to Iowa city. The kind woman on the phone said they do not take kittens but would be happy to help if Alicia the groomer consented. She did, so I brought my kitten mango in. Not only were they so gentle and kind, they made sure to get to know mango and my's backstories. I even heard the groomer make it a point to meet the parents of other dogs she has just groomed to ensure she was 100% happy. I was nervous mango wouldn't like it, but she was so calm and sweet with them. I expected to pay about $20.... but nope! FREE OF CHARGE because all they wanted was for mango to get home okay. Goodness. Truly great people. This place needs more reviews and I would recommend 100% P.S mango says thanks!!

They are attentive to our pup's allergies and provide hypo-allergenic services. Our pup has never had any cuts, rashes, or any other incidents. Pricing is very competitive with other services we have used over the years, and there are many price points/services from which to select. I appreciate the text reminders for appointments. They call immediately when our pup is finished. She comes home with a new seasonal bandana. What really stands out to me is when I have accidentally called them on occasion, Bob, the owner, always calls back to make sure everything is OK. This is a great grooming establishment. We have used mobile groomers, salons, and bigger pet stores. However, Pawz N Klawz is the best we have used in the 15+ years we have used pet groomers, and they deserve a shout out!

I'm unsure if they actually offer value in their prices, which still seems really high. The staff there are always kind and professional. There seems to be high rate of turnover of the staff. They appear to have difficult and inefficient processes, perhaps that contributes to the turnover? One frustrating thing is there is not a phone line that goes directly to the clinic, but rather it is routed through a call center. I have my dogs groomed in the Petco, which is in the adjacent building and have yet to have Vetco be able to communicate to Petco that my dogs are fully vaccinated. Sometimes their printer is not working, this last visit I was told they are unable to email the records to Petco. At least the printer worked so I could walk through to the other side of the building and hand off the records myself.
