Our family loves Wave Gymnastics and coach Angie and the rest of the team. We are so thankful we found Wave! Our daughter initially started out at one of the larger gyms in the area, but once we checked out Wave, we immediately switched over. The gym is always so clean and has great air circulation. I like that the parent viewing area is outdoors too. My little one loves doing private lessons with coach Angie and also the group classes. Everyone here really cares about the kids and gives them individual attention. And most importantly, there is a focus on safety first!

The coches here, they put their heart in teaching and they make sure to do everything in their power to make you feel part of the family! We love the installations. All the colorful mats and equipment are so cute!

My kid has been having an A+++ experience with Wave Gymnastics! Awesome classes plus friendly and experienced staff!

After summer, I was placed in a different group with a new, inexperienced coach and significantly younger athletes. Despite the challenges, I stayed committed and continued working hard. I actually never missed a single practice in the 4 and a half months I was there. There were ongoing issues within the group (specifically one girl) that made the environment uncomfortable, and although they were brought to the coaches' attention multiple times, nothing was effectively addressed. A month before our first competition--after we had already begun learning routines--I received an email stating that I was no longer welcome at the gym. I was given no clear explanation, no prior warning, and no opportunity to discuss or resolve anything. Being removed from a team this way, especially right before competition season, was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I would strongly encourage better communication and fairness when handling athletes in the future.

She taught my little cousin and had no control of the situation she was in. Can be also harsh teaching to. Is way to specific and it always had to be perfect for her to teach these skills to my cousins. I would have felt better with some of the other coaches but to be honest I don't feel this place is good for us. We are considering places like era or vibe gymnastics. The environment here seems like they are putting a show rather than actual teaching methods and passing down the experience. Just seems like coach Madelyn was a prime example of that. Wouldn't recommend her or this place either

When we heard that the Lake Forest location was offering a Spring Day Camp, the kids were so excited to hear they could spend all day with their favorite gymnastics coaches, some familiar faces from Tustin too! My sons cartwheel and tumbling skills have improved so much, and he can roll head over very easily now! I'm so proud of him and he's so proud of the skills and confidence her learned here with the Flippin Flames. The staff is so caring and compassionate as well! My daughter Jazzy, really wanted to attend with her brother and is just getting over the potty training hump. I received a call one afternoon that she had an accident and they were so sweet to my little girl, and kept her mind off her little oopsie until daddy arrived and was able to tend to her. They could've asked her to stay home during the remaining duration of camp, but instead they paid extra attention to her and ensured that she was comfortable and dry through the rest of the camp. As an athlete and father, I can recommend Wildfire Gymnastics to you and your family as a warm and caring facility to learn gymnastics from some of the most prized and awarded coaches in Southern California. World-class men and women who will love and cherish your children just like their own. I'm so thankful.

Parents were not pros at identifying the various items out on the floor and it was a minefield to navigate it all so you could easily turn an ankle on equipment. I watched a couple little girls stumble and start crying because of this. The bday had a game that 2 staff members ran but otherwise they were largely absent on the gym floor. There was no instruction, no structure otherwise. Kids wandered between the bounce house to every piece of equipment with total access. As a parent I kept close to my child to help him but I liked other party venues a lot better because they had staff to get involved and show safe ways to use equipment they had put on the floor. On a hot day over 80 degrees there was no a/c except up in the upstairs party room. I was very hot and uncomfortable as were the kids. Thankfully I brought my son's water to keep him hydrated. Everyone was sweaty and gross. Add to that the venue did not require socks, it seemed a ripe environment for athletes foot or other germs to flourish as I did not notice the equipment or mats looked particularly clean. Nobody was cleaning after use either like at other venues. Overall, nice idea but I think staff needs to think about execution of a bday party better. There is a wide variety of equipment but no instruction, little space between the equipment, and random jump boards everywhere that I don't think 5 yr olds were equipped to navigate well.

When I shared that I hoped to compete at a high level and possibly even the Olympics, I was told, "sorry to burst your bubble, but you'll never make it to the Olympics." This was extremely discouraging and not something a young athlete should hear from a coach. After my parent followed up, I was allowed to join the pre-team for a trial period. During those two weeks, I experienced a lack of support. One athlete was consistently rude to me, and when I struggled with a bars skill, a coach responded in a way that made me feel embarrassed rather than helped. At the end of the trial period, I was told I would hear back about whether I made the team, but I never received any communication. Overall, the environment felt unsupportive and unprofessional. I believe young athletes deserve encouragement, respect, and clear communication, which I did not experience here.

I wanted to find a good center close to my job to pick back up where I left to compete & possibly purchase a horse. I arrived about 20 minutes early (I wasn't expecting to be seen or anything early) & there was only one girl there who was honestly very rude and obviously hated that I bothered her when I just asked her to confirm that I was in the right place. Sometime later, a lady came to sit next to me and sat with me until a minute after my scheduled time, got up and asked me if I was taking a lesson.... This was the instructor... she was sitting next to me the whole time not even acknowledging my existence. However, I shrugged this off- my problem was the actual lesson. Despite how early I got there, I still was deemed just 20 minutes of riding time ... when I use to take lessons, the lesson horses were always tacked up beforehand thus giving the rider adequate amount time. However I understand that the grooms are busy- so it was fine. But what didn't make sense was how to instructor I rode with took her time giving me a tour, showing me everything, going back & forth from the horse's stall to the tack room and everything in between *just wasting time*. Luckily I know how to brush & tack up so it was quick as possible but I can only imagine how long it would take for an inexperienced person to do so because even doing all of this for me it took a while What absolutely pissed me off was that I didn't get to jump and was NOT told this prior. If I was told- I would not have wasted my time coming at all. I had a fine flat lesson; me not riding for so long had no effect on my muscle memory and did not get any type of coaching from the instructor (which was fine, I'm at the level where I don't need an instructor to remind me to keep my heels down or shoulders back) & instead was complimented. At the end of my flatting, she tells me "you need a safety vest to jump or own your own horse" ... what??!!!? Why did nobody tell me this??? I didn't expect to jump high or do a full course- but I got absolutely nothing. When scheduling, I explained that I had experience- you would think at some point I would be told "by the way you can only jump if you own a horse" or even something like "this will only be a flat lesson". Apparently, it's an insurance liability if riders jump without a vest... I'm not a minor & signed documents understanding that sitting on a horse in general is a liability but okay god forbid there's no safety vest. I was seriously let down and i dont know how they expect riders here to move up. Safe to say I won't get back into competing or purchasing a horse with this center
