One star for the basic use of the laundromat. I'd you need to wash your clothes good luck. Like other places this laundry shop was pretty crowded on a Saturday. They have regular side loading machines and top loaders. Lots of dryers that don't get very warm even on the highest setting. You will feed the dryer quarters for a while. The washer did fine. I had a machine that stopped accepting my quarters when I was half way through feeding the required amount to start a load. I had about $1.50 to go and it was jammed. I saw the sign stating the money would be refunded if there was a problem so I moved to a machine to get started. Moved all my clothes out, started a wash on a working machine and went to the service door to fill out a refund form. Just then a lady folding clothes said what's the problem. I said the machine wasn't accepting more money to start the wash, so I need a refund for the money I inserted. She rolled her eyes and asked which machine. I walked her over and she began banging on the machine, tired to put quarters in herself. It didn't work for her either. The she pulls out something like a nail file out of her pocket and begins to insert it in and out of the coin slot. After a while it took the quarter. She looks at me and say see it's not broken. I said yeah well I don't have your little file tool and you saw it did not accept your quarters either until you wiggled your file in there. I didn't want to break your machine. Customers are only supposed to insert coins not bang and jam objects in the slot to get it to work. She continues to walk away saying it's not broken. Well I told her I have no more washing to do so I need the money back since it wasn't working properly. She refused. I pointed at HER SIGN and she said it's not broken and to find a customer who needs a wash and have THE OTHER CUSTOMER GIVE ME THE REFUND DIFFERENCE. Like what the actual heck. Terrible service. Unprofessional and did not honor her own policy. Then asks me to negotiate a refund with another customer. Wow. Stay away. Plenty of other places to do business with. read more

Do not come here. The laundry monitor asked me to leave. She would not let me wash a Ruggable in the machine. She doesn't know what Ruggables are so I explained that they are very thin and very light and do not contain a backing. For those that don't know, Ruggables are comparable to light weight curtains or drapes. Another good reason not to come here is that the large machines are $.50 more than they are at Launderland a few blocks away. Also, at Launderland you can use an app called Pay Range so you don't have to walk around with cash or quarters. This is not the first time I left here aggravated. Again, do not come here. Just go four blocks away to Launderland coin op laundry on Newport. It's much cleaner too!! if we are being honest, we all know that doing laundry at a laundromat sucks enough. Cleaning lady was rude. Starting hurrying everyone up up at 9pm. Had the daughter yell the time every 10 minutes. Tried to clean the machines dust while my wife was taking my clothes out. Didn't return our money that was stuck or tell me how I could retrieve it until I pressed her about the business scamming its customers. Most annoying part was, her telling us she was running out of time so she had to specifically clean the machine I was using but had not one but three garbage bags outside by the door waiting to be thrown out. I am very particular about where I wash my clothes at (cleanliness new/old machines etc) and price of course.. The first time I washed here I was very surprised and happy.. What I normally spend at my usual laundromat is about $90-$100 easily (Don't Judge Me Lol) for the same exact amount of loads I spent $60-$70 at Thee most... I refuse to go any where else!!! It's a great place honestly, the inside is very clean and always has an employee around which is very convenient. They are very kind and the machines are in good shape, whenever there's a machine broken down there's a little sign indicating that. Which is awesome, some places I've been to don't say that and you just end up losing coins. This is for their drop off "fluff and fold" laundry service. At $1 per pound 10lb minimum (no blankets or sheets) this service is affordable even on a tight budget. Their hours allow for really early drop offs and late pickups and there is no additional charge for next day pickup. Clothes are bagged and meticulously folded. They also sort the items like all short sleeve shirts together or all jeans together and all sweat pants together. I've never had an issue with items shrinking/fading and they always smell really good. I've been going here for about a year and never noticed a missing item. The women that work here are always really pleasant and helpful. A few of them have limited English skills but this has never been an issue. They weigh your clothes in front of you so no shady up charges. I know they will also hang certain items if you ask. I usually bring my clothes in a trash bag and that makes for easy weighing. This is a no frills laundry mat, I wouldn't recommend this if you have special laundry needs or really expensive clothing. I found Sparklean on Yelp and gave it a go. This place is a lavanderia with a tiny office at the front and a lady sitting on a bench just outside the door. I didn't even know that she worked here until she saw me looking confused and asked if she could help me. She took my bag of clothes and weighed them, then quoted me $36. I must have looked surprised. (I don't know what I was thinking it was going to cost -- maybe $10? $15? I felt like Lucille Bluth from Arrested Development when she didn't know the price of a banana.) So then she said that she'd do it for $30, so I was like OK. I mean, I was going to do it for $36, but I like saving $6. She wouldn't give me a receipt, and I kept confirming with her that she'd be there to give me my clothes when I came back. Because how would someone else know those clothes were mine? It was kind of confusing. But she got them done in less than two hours, and she even called me when they were ready to be picked up. The best part is that all of the clothes, from the underwear down to the socks, were folded so neatly! I never, ever do that good of a job. You go up to this machine to get your laundry laundry card. There's a $2 deposit which isn't that bad. So I put in $5 and got $3 on the card. The small white washers (lid on top/traditional old school ones) are a $1 per load. And it 25-27 minutes for it to be done. If you have a huge family load, then use the bigger washers for $2-2.50. To dry, it's $1 per load. The laundry card is re-loadable. So I suggest you keep it if you need to use a laundromat for your laundry. The machine to reload money is CASH ONLY. The attendant here was very kind and helpful. She let me know only cash could buy the laundry card, the card deposit is $5 which can be refunded. But the big washer door was tricky to latch properly and she had to help me jimmy it shut. My laundry came out of the spin dripping. The machines do not perform are consistently nor are they predictable. The attendant is the only reason I got the wash done at all and the only reason I gave any stars. This place is okay. I went around 6:30 in the morning and there was a staff person on site - but I think they're mainly there to accept dropped off laundry and do some other minor things. You don't pay with coins here - you pay with what looks like a debit card. It's $5 to get one ($2 fee, $3 left over for your laundry. They only accept cash (not coins), and only in increments of $5. They say they have an ATM - it was out of order. Change machine? - out of order. Fortunately there are Wells Fargo ATMs in the same shopping center. Recently our washing machine broke and it took longer to fix than expected. I ended up going here one evening to do all our laundry. It was great. I used the huge machine for most of the clothes and one of the other large sized machines. The biggest machine can do 80 lbs of clothes! It was quick, the two ladies working there were friendly and helpful. I had never used a laundromat before so they helped me get going. The only "issue" is that you need to buy a card first, then load money into it; you need cash to load the card and when I went, the ATM there wasn't working. But it's not a big deal, there's a Washington Mutual bank nearby and a grocery store where you can get cash if you need. Once you're done, if you have a balance left on the card, you can turn it in and they'll refund you the balance and also the $2.00 deposit for the card. The place was clean and well lit. They have free WiFi. They have rolling baskets you can use to move your laundry from the washing machines to the dryers. A clean remodeled bathroom and a snack machine. I would go back if I needed to. read more
