If you're from Philly, you have got a love Wawa. I usually stop at Wawa for tea. I stopped later in the afternoon to get a cup of tea. On my way to a work event. The store is clean. The shelves are well stocked. The people are nice. While I was in there, someone stole a carton of cigarettes. The security guard and the cashier were cursing and yelling for a few minutes after it happened. People were still waiting to pay. Do not expect the workers to understand how a car shows your fuel level. All that came out of the pump was air, and my car dash still showed the same amount of miles left before and after "pumping gas". I asked for a refund and all they tried to give me was a receipt and was visibly confused when I told them nothing was coming out of the pump...even though they have 3 of 6 pumps out of order. Cursing behind the register, purposely trying to piss customers off, extremely slow, and might be some of the worst quality food/coffee I have had at a Wawa. Be advised that this is in northeast Philadelphia and not far from the Badlands (this is what Philadelphians call this bad area), so you will see, shall we be kind and call it an interesting cross section of humanity on the property. Still, I have never had an issue in the many years of coming here and I have always had decent service, no matter the day or time I came by. I was introduced to The WaWa store in Philly years ago in the early 90's on Roosevelt Blvd. I was walking ‍ by and stopped. I thought what the heck is a wawa with a goose flying as a store symbol? I went in and loved the store ever since. It was the best up grade to the 7-11 stores ever since! The food orders are amazing and good . Going to work and need a fast tasty breakfast or lunch ? All of the choices are great tasting for quick meals. Dinners needed after work or before you go to your 2nd job, or go on a outing with the kids? No problem, stop at your local wawa store. Open 24/7 daily. I love it. Gas is always available at the bigger wawa stores. Bathroom pit stop is mostly always pretty clean . They even make a thanksgiving turkey dinner meal available for that holiday for a few weeks. I tried it when I had to work overtime and missed getting a good home cooked thanksgiving dinner. The WaWa turkey thanksgiving dinner was so delicious I went back the next few days for more. Mashed potatoes with gravy, turkey with gravy, stuffing, veggies. Yummy . Smoothie drinks are all good. However, this place has many people working here but few with smarts: the place is crowded and there are no 32 ounce cups in the whole place. Literally the rudest staff with the worst attitude ever. They're on their phones constantly, when while ringing you up. They will have their AirPods in having a full conversation with someone while the line is wrapped around the store. They will talk shit about your order and then make it wrong. They will mess up at the register and then place the blame on the customer. read more

It's not really the Wawa itself that's bad news, it's the people that go there. The gas pumps are always packed, and it pisses me off beyond belief when people leave their cars at the pump to go in and get food. Thanks for making me wait while you go get a breakfast sandwich that's been sitting under a heat lamp for the past 40 minutes. PLEASE, people, MOVE YOUR DAMN CARS TO THE LOT!!! The lines inside are usually pretty long, but Ron C. is right when he says that they move quickly. The drink area is usually a mess and don't be surprised if you can't find an appropriately sized lid for your beverage. All that being said...it's definitely better than the Exxon (it is an Exxon? I frequent Wawa on Columbus Blvd daily. Today was my first time at the Aramingo location. The cashiers were friendly. There was no air machine (which is the reason I came). Besides coffee and prepared food they almost always screw up my order. They never toast a sandwich when asked, they always are missing ingredients in the sandwich (twice with no meat), or their bowls and soups always spill. At 430-5am when I'm done work my choices are limited. But yet I hear the employees carrying on with each other and complain about their hourly rate but they can't even make a proper sandwich.
