Since retirement, I let my hair grow long because it's cheaper. When my split ends start to drive me crazy, which takes a little bit less than a year, I go looking for a cheap place to chop them off. This is my go to salon now. It's about a mile from my house, parking is free, and I can get it done for half the price charged by the fancy beauty shop I used when I was working. I gave 4 stars instead of 5, because I can't get anything more sophisticated than a trim done, should I want to, because of the language barrier. They probably are skillful enough to do just about anything, but since we rely heavily on nonverbal communication, there's a limit to what they can do for me.
