The staff is always super friendly and while I usually get crêpes this time I went for a little gelato. They let me sample a few flavors before I landed on the salted caramel. I do not find myself in Winter Garden often, so when I am there, I like to explore. That is how I found my way to Way Chocolate & Coffee. It is a cute little coffee & dessert spot in Winter Garden. I popped in and ordered a lavender matcha latte (iced). The staff were super sweet, and my order was prepared and ready to go quickly. It was not super busy, and I went midday on a Saturday. There's a decent amount of seating, and if you don't want to dine in, you can definitely stroll up and down the area, as there are so many other eateries and businesses to explore on that strip. My lavender matcha latte was really tasty and perfect for the hot summer day. I will definitely patronize this little spot again. It's cute, and the price points are within reason. Loved the flavors at this place, and so glad I decided to stop by with my friends. They let us try all their flavors, but the best was their Biscoff one which two of us got. But the truffles are not filled, only with caramel, dulce de leche, marshmallow or Nutella. And others are only solid, shaped chocolate. We ordered the afogato (espresso with ice cream), the portion is ok for the price $7, thinking about 2 shoots of espresso and 2 scoops of ice cream, but the ice cream is really sweet, even with the espresso, got very sweet. What a hot day!! After dinner I decided to take a walk and stumbled upon this cute gelato and dessert store. There was not a wait and the staff was friendly. I ordered a chocolate gelato and my little one ordered the cookies and cream gelato. Both flavors were rich, smooth and soooo delicious! Perfect end to a hot summers day! My husband and I went on a date night a few weeks ago and for dessert we went to Way Chocolate & Coffee. It's a cute little shop on Plant Street, their Main Street downtown in Winter Garden. The shop was adorable, lots of seating to sit down and chat with friends. They have lots of coffee options and had an array of desserts- gelato, chocolates, cookies, cake slices, cheesecake, Oreo truffles and more. You can also order cakes and other treats for celebrations and holidays. They also had gluten free offerings. We have few family members with gluten sensitivities/allergies so that was great to see and we will have to bring our family here when they visit. Hubby ordered an Americano and I had a dark chocolate hot chocolate. We shared a piece of carrot cake and I had to try two dark chocolate Oreo truffles. The carrot cake was amazing! Great flavor and the cream cheese icing was just right. I love Oreo truffles and sometimes dark chocolate isn't offered so I was really excited to see that and had to try them and they were also fabulous. I loved my hot chocolate and that I had the option to make it dark chocolate as it's the superior chocolate in my opinion. I know I have said this about other establishments but we will definitely have to return and bring our kids as they would love it. The Orlando area is known for chain restaurants but don't let that fool you, there are many non-chain options to choose from and our family loves to support small business owners. read more

Stopped in for coffee and dessert with my family and we were so disappointed. The coffees came out and were fine, but both pieces of cake served were still frozen (tiramisu and a red velvet cake slice). The few bites we did try were bland and stodgy cake. It took 15 minutes for the coffees and cakes to come out, which isn't something I would expect at a small cafe counter. For the price we paid, to be served something we couldn't even eat, sad to say I won't try again. read more

I cannot recommend this place after the awful hot chocolates we had tonight. First, we waited a very long time for 3 cups of hot chocolate. Second, the milk chocolate hot chocolate was filled with the most bitter chocolate chips we've ever tasted. We couldn't even finish our drinks! What a waste of money and time! The only positive thing was their chocolate chip cookies. Not sure how a chocolatier can screw up hot chocolate. The kind older woman who took my order was initially hesitant as I requested a combination of the strawberry and mango flavors. She informed me the fruit is pre-portioned but quickly stated she could do it for me. It was a fresh fruit smoothie with strawberries and mangoes. It was so refreshing and good. I appreciated her doing something a little unconventional to please a customer. She let me know it would be a minute as she prepared it and as she gave it to me noted she hoped I liked it. She went back to the prep area so when I tasted it, I let the other woman know to tell her it was great! They have wonderful treats there like chocolates, desserts, chocolate dipped things, coffee and expression, and gelato I think. I can't wait to go back and try some of these yummy items next time. Amazing! We stopped in on a Friday night for dessert and had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful--they recommended the Brigadiero cake, and it DID NOT disappoint. Chocolate lovers: this is your cake! So rich, fudgy and delicious! The mint Twinkie was also great and we really enjoyed it. Way also has a good selection of coffee beverages and gelato flavors on top of all their chocolatey goodness--can't wait to give those a try! Also, did I mention CREPES!? Last night my husband and I were strolling in the area. I saw the store and decided that I wanted some ice cream. When I entered there was one person ahead of me they got served then left. The employees (a woman and man) started making orders for customers who were seated. I patiently waited for them to complete their task. Probably about 15 mins. Neither of them acknowledge my presence. While I was waiting three ladies came in. The oldest one asked me if I was being served I told her no. But I was next. she said ok. For whatever reason the server walked over totally ignored my presence and started serving the three ladies. At that point my husband asked what was going on. I told him that I was being ignored and we left. For reference I am black and the other people were white. I don't know if that was part of the reason why I was ignored. But I won't be going back into an establishment where there is a possibility that I could be ignored by staff. read more

Way Chocolate & Coffee moved into the location that Kaebisch Chocolate used to be in. It smelled so delicious when I walked in and the place was crowded in a good way with lots of seemingly happy people. They have the cutest hand made chocolates for special occasions and all of the favorites that I can think of. Chocolate covered cherries, marshmallows, oreo cookies, Twinkies and so much more. I purchased my husband a bag of bite sized chocolate covered Rice Krispie treats ($8.00) that he loved. For myself I decided on a small bag of their dark chocolate orange peels. ($8.00) They were the best that I have had. In addition to great chocolate items I also noticed that they sell gelato, cake, cookies, pastries and have a coffee station.
