I go to the dentist more than the average person, and was very nervous choosing a dentist when I…read moremoved to the area. I finally chose Dr. Mirchin and have been very satisfied with his work. The office is small, but it is a friendly, family like atmosphere. They do very high quality work, whether it's a cleaning, cavity, onlay procedure, or crown. I've had it all. He does very careful work, taking his time to do it right and make you feel comfortable. He even calls to check on you the next day after more serious procedures, which I really like. I needed a few crowns and he worked with me to create a payment plan to allow me to be able to pay for them in installments. I've heard so many people complain about crowns but from day 1 my crowns from Dr. Mirchin feel like they have always been there and have not caused me any problems. Also, I went through months and months of extreme migraines and Dr. Mirchin was able to diagnose that they were clench related! He made me a mouthguard and saved me from intense pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Mirchin!

Because I love chewy candy and don't always brush and floss as often as I should. But back to #1... I had my first root canal almost 20 years ago. Dr. Slade was very patient and polite, and even though I was a kid, she spoke to me and treated me like any other patient (instead of that annoying, cutesy thing that people do with their voices when they are talking to kids). She explained everything to me and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I had my last root canal a few years ago and Dr. Slade was the same as always. Both she and her receptionist are as kind and sweet and professional as can be. They take time to answer questions or address concerns and they make an effort to make things as easy as possible. I hope I never need another root canal (I'm kinda out of teeth to do them on, at this point!), but if I do I'll be heading right to Dr. Slade with no reservations!

My dentist referred me to Dr Corcoran to have them removed, so I called and made an appointment for consultation. I was able to get in the same week, and the receptionist patiently explained all the location and time options I had. I was nervous about my consultation. I had never had any kind of surgery in my life, and I didn't know how much damage my wisdoms were in for. Dr Corcoran came in, and assuming he's met many nervous patients, he immediately calmed my nerves with a few awesome dentist jokes. He showed me the X-ray, explained everything that would be done, and I left feeling great about it. I got on board, and scheduled the real appointment for a couple weeks later. Fast forward to today; I had all four wisdom teeth removed, 1 of which was impacted, the rest simple extractions. I got the works with the laughing gas and the general anesthesia, and when I woke up an hour later, huzzah...no wisdom teeth. Surprisingly, I am in no pain despite having taken only 2 Advil right after the surgery. The numbness has gone away, and I have some swelling on the impacted side, but no pain. Huh. Dr Corcoran even called me at 9pm to see how I was doing. He noted that I sounded awfully chipper, and expressed that I should continue to take care of my wounds, even with no pain. How incredibly thoughtful of the guy to call me long after the workday is over, to make sure I wasn't dying or allergic to the antibiotics. My husband said that right after surgery I told him, "Gosh I feel great, I wish I felt this way all the time!" I think that means Dr Corcoran is doing something exactly right.

After the confrontation, we went over the billing to my insurance and the lady said this is all the doctor will do and this is what your insurance will pay. Stupid of me to believe a person is able to do their job but she explicitly left out big charges such as removal of a tooth, consultation charges and other miscellaneous charges. My interesting is that it cannot be this colossal of a mistake and she purposely did this to show me lower charge. After completing the surgery they bill me and guess what, they added major items, like removal of the tooth they were supposed to get out along other items. On top of that, i called the billing department and the lady lied to my face saying this was all billed to the insurance during the consultation and she will send me the proof. What she sent me is proving they did not send the full charges to the insurance. There's a bunch of good doctors out there and this one is not worth it just because of their incompetent billing department in the arlington office.

Aside from being personable, he is very thorough in assessing whether treatment is needed and honest with his assessment. Recently, I was having issues with a tooth, but it wasn't clear whether a root canal was needed. I had a follow-up evaluation with Dr. Goodman earlier today, and he was actually very happy that my tooth seems to have recovered and does not need the treatment. Considering this is how Dr. Goodman makes his living, I think this says a lot -- he cares about his patients and is honest in his dealings with them. And if you do happen to need a root canal, I would not recommend anybody else -- he is the best!

I hate to admit that, but prior dentists had scared me off with unnecessary procedures and used car sales man type personalities. He was recommended to me by a friend who has been going to him for years. Dr. Sendroff is very good with nervous patients. I am 30 something going on five years old when I'm in the dental chair. I found him very thorough, calming, kind and will explain procedures before and while things are happening. His receptionist and wife Paula is a gem and super sweet. The hygenist is also great and quite funny! They've got a great practice. Plus you get a flower at the end of the visit, now my work knows that every time I return from a long absence with a flower I was at the dentist.

WHOOPS. I had two visits at my "in=network" dentist and realized it paled in comparison to Dr. Sendroff's office. Literally everything you can rate in a dentist's office was better in Dr. Sendroff's office. Reception, timeliness, treatment, care, friendliness, technology, across the board. I've recommended him to all my friends and family anytime they ask, and sometimes even when they don't. My teeth stain easily, and can sometimes take some extra work to get clean, but they are thoughtful, careful, gentle and thorough. They get the job done, you can see and feel the cleaning, and its pleasant along the way. If there were six stars, they would get it.

Also, just received a notice from my insurer letting me know the dental scan ($131) is not covered, which no one mentioned before they administered it. Yes, to me that's a big deal

CCDH staff was more than friendly, gentle, and accommodating. Post extraction, they have now become my standard dentist (I dropped my old one for them). In the meantime I received a health screening email that had to be completed before the appointment. When I made the appointment I was told it was a consultation however when I arrived I was advised they will complete the surgery that day. I was a ball of nerves to say the least and I was hungry. Before the surgery the doctor introduces himself, he asks if you have any questions, and he goes over the process in detail. I did not need laughing gas, he numbed me very well, and I did not feel a thing. I listened to my music, about an hour or so I was done. The entire was amazing, parking was great, and the office looked clean. As soon as I got there he was ready so I did not have to wait. 5/5 experience and I would recommend him!
