We did our research…read morefirst and shopped a few different companies, but we ended up going with IZ Flooring due to their fabulous reviews and because of how quickly and professionally they responded. First, our rep Robert came to our house with tons of options and suggestions. He was able to give us a wide variety and help us select something that uniquely fit our style and budget. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly with any questions we had. When we came to the showroom, Robert dopped everything to lead us through the selection process. We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! Their attention to detail--such as lining up the carpet pattern on the stairs and making sure the cut pattern on the risers were balanced--was impressive. The entire job, including moving large furniture, was completed in two days. We couldn't be more pleased! We highly recommend this team for high quality products, professional treatment and advice, and an impressive installation experience.

I received several bids and ended up going with Frank and his team because of great service and a competitive bid. They did a great job and I decided to use them again this year to complete my entire upstairs. Frank is no longer there and I'm working with Chris this time. I highly recommend them because the floors look great!

Ordering was fairly straightforward and they were transparent about delivery times & scheduling the install. No upsells or weird sales tactics - just materials & labor at a straightforward price. Installation was superb. Frank(?) and his sons came to install most of it, and we were especially thankful they were thorough with eliminating squeaks in the underlying floorboards (when they could). The overall quality of the job was great. At no extra charge to us, they replaced the noses of our stairs since they found them a bit weak & squeaky once they took the old carpet off. Happy with the Mohawk SmartCushion underlayment as well - I don't think we had a choice here but feeling it now with our Fabrica carpet, it's great. Highly recommended for a seamless, straightforward experience!

Lori was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect flooring. We absolutely love the color and the quality of the product she recommended. Jose and Sam installed our new flooring and were outstanding. They were professional, meticulous, and took great care when moving our furniture. Their workmanship was excellent, and the finished floors look amazing. Today, Randy and Evan installed the carpet on our stairs, and they were just as professional and detail-oriented. The installation looks fantastic, and they did a wonderful job. From start to finish, everyone at Village Carpet exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful flooring, outstanding customer service, and skilled installers. We're thrilled with the results and couldn't be happier with our new floors!

Had my floors installed back in 2021. We picked out LVP. The person of contact did not communicate…read moreduring the install. That was the first problem. Second problem is they have been back every year since the install to correct the floor underneath which was not done properly. In fact the first year they came out the guy said they did a shitty job. Nice to hear from the store that their service was shitty. The floors had about a one inch movement up and down. So the second year another spot did the same thing. They came out and ripped it up a second time. Problem came back the next year in a different spot all within about a ten to twelve foot area. Each year a new spot and another ripping up of the floor. We had new baseboards installed through out the house and after 5 years and promises that the missing piece in the master bath would be done, it still isn't. Even this past summer the head guy said he was embarrassed that it wasn't done. But Guess what? Still not done. Plus all the installed baseboards have small little metal nail hole throughout as they didn't even cover them and paint over them. They look horrible. We recently had our upstairs done by a different company and I looked at Village carpets email from 2021 to get the color of our downstairs LVP. Turns out they changed the color on a different email without noting it and we ordered over 1000 sq ft of the incorrect color. This cost me over $3000 because they had changed color. Lost the price of the floors and labor as I noticed it was wrong after half the upstairs hallway was installed. Then had to look through past emails to find out the problem was that I was sent two different emails with two different floor colors. I have left messages for owner which are ignored. Crazy way to run a business.

Yes they have a great selection of flooring and their employees are very friendly, but there were…read moretoo many errors to recommend this company. First, I was recommended by the flooring contractor, who said they would get me the contractor price, which I was told when I purchased from Rayo. As it turns out, the "contractor price" was just their normal price, which I verified by calling and asking for the price. Secondly, they screwed up my underlayment order, giving me a lower-quality underlayment that I thankfully caught before the contractor installed it. This may have had the consequence of needing the flooring to be ripped out and underlayment replaced due to HOA rules of minimum sound abatement quality. And third, they couldn't find a flooring piece and told my contractor it was located at a different store, sending them from this location to Clairmont during rush hour. The piece was actually at this location, but they didn't even try looking for it. This delayed my project two days. Overall, they are untruthful and seem to be careless and unprofessional.

I would like to start out by saying, yes, they have flooring at a reasonable price. That's about…read morethe end of the positive things I have to say. All businesses are customer service businesses. - The company received payment information -- collected with pen and paper in person -- and ran the payment card. No email confirmation, no call confirmation, no receipt of any sort. - The flooring we ordered was in stock for a week before we were notified that the flooring was in stock. - When we checked on whether our flooring was in stock, we were notified that it was and that it was waiting at their Kearny Mesa facility. - When our contractors arrived to pick up the flooring from Kearny Mesa, they were told that, no, the flooring was still at the Lakeside warehouse. This feels like information that anyone should have at their fingertips. - After picking up the flooring from the Lakeside warehouse -- now two weeks later and in a different location -- we were notified on the day of installation that the flooring NEEDS TO REST AND ACCLIMATE TO THE ROOM FOR 72 HOURS prior to installing. We are aware that, perhaps, our contractor should have known about the requirements of this brand and type of flooring. I'll allow this one point. Our project moved back a full week, and then moved back again, another full week. I understand: maybe it isn't that big of a deal to sell flooring. Maybe it isn't brain surgery. Well, I'm having surgery next week. And now our floors will be put in around those constraints. So maybe, just maybe, customer service -- even without a smile, even just doing the bare minimum of a job, like letting people know that the product they purchased is in stock and, I don't know, maybe the location of where that product could be picked up from -- is still very important. It might not be surgery to you, but it could be surgery for someone else. Would never recommend. Systems are in shambles. Operational disaster. Communication gap after communication gap after misinformation. Do something.
