Less than 5 months after having knee surgery, I ran a marathon. That's right. Dr. Rawal IS incredibly gifted. My scars are minimal and he clearly got me back to running in an unbelievable amount of time. Dr. Rawal is not much like others in his profession. I never waited more than a couple minutes in his waiting room (what??? Yes, I am sure I'm talking about an orthopedic surgeon). He spent time with me explaining my diagnosis, showing me the MRI images, answering my litany of questions, allaying my fears and truly caring about me. He also got me in for my first preference of surgery date. On my surgery day, he calmed me down when my anxiety began to kick in. He also showed me pictures from surgery both in recovery and again in my follow-up visit. I couldn't have been happier about my experience with him at the Hinsdale Surgical Center. I highly recommend and endorse Dr. Rawal for your orthopedic surgery needs. You will not find another surgeon as customer service oriented AND talented as him!

I had an appointment with Dr. Chala to look at knee pain I've been having for 6 weeks. He did a thorough exam, and ordered an MRI which I got done within 45 min just down the hall. Then I saw him right after the MRI to diagnose the problem and he proceeded to order a cortisone shot and physical therapy. I got the shot before I left the office. Now on my way to feeling much better in a quality and highly effective visit today.

I worked for a PT office at they time and they referred him due to seeing patients surgical outcomes with various doctors. He's the best and I would not hesitate to see him for any issue.

When Hennessy showed up, he seemed to immediately assume I was interested in total knee replacement, a propos of nothing except possibly $$, and when I told him I preferred conservative treatment and had good success with PT and was there for assessment, he seemed to lose interest. He ran down the short list of treatments -- cortisone injection, the newer platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections -- and when I leaned toward the former, he left the exam room and his PA took over. Didn't get an MRI even though it was on the referral form. His PA was a pro and made up for his cursory 5-minute "evaluation" by being thorough and caring. Got the cortisone shot which has helped even if it's a temporary measure. Visit did no harm, but I'm going somewhere else next time.

Nothing but attitude I never asked for a nurse. I never pressed a button. I never asked for water and she had the nerve to lie. No I will go anywhere else.

The doctor I saw seemed to be running a race she spent less that 15 minutes with me at all appointments and seemed to be on autopilot just trying to get me in and out as fast as was humanly possible. When I went to call the office to address some side effect from a haphazardly rushed procedure I went in for I was told I was not in their system as a patient which blew my mind as I had made multiple appointments with them before but when it came down to a problem they caused I did not exist??!! I was given the run around by employees that did not want to give me the time of day because according to their "system" I was just a crazy lady calling the wrong place. Well after some deductive reasoning and a few call backs I came to the conclusion they had my information wrong in the system and I was able to eventually be directed to someone that cared enough to check for me! And I was right! They had my information all messed up but were able to correct it all for me. So 5 hours after my initial call I finally have someone call me back to address the post procedure issue I was having and all I get is OH THATS JUST A SIDE EFFECT SORRY WE DID NOT MENTION TO YOU BEFORE THAT YOU WOULD BE PHYSICALLY DEBILITATED BEFORE WE DID THAT, OOPS SORRY GOOD LUCK LIVING LIFE WITHOUT YOUR RIGHT ARM! I would never trust my heath to these doctors ever again, they care to little about their patients. I came out of here in worse pain than I went in. Then asked the same question. Maybe he had a bad day because other reviews are decent. Maybe he didn't care because I don't qualify for surgery. I received my requested files to send to another doctor and it notes a physical assessment was done. It was not.
