The past few years, it had gotten so bad that I was self-conscious in social situations even eating because I didn't want my teeth to show. I'd been so nervous to go to a dentist because I hadn't been in years due to a lack of insurance and the cost, so I was so scared of what they'd need to do and of being made to feel bad for my teeth. None of that happened. Dr. Kan and her staff were so sweet and understanding. Dr. Kan was so careful and managed to save all my teeth. Something I didn't think was possible! She went so far out of her way to make me feel beautiful again and to give me a smile I could be proud to show. I never thought I'd be able to smile again unless I got dentures, but Dr. Kan completely made over my teeth with composite, and she gave me a beautiful smile without charging me a fortune. When she showed me my smile for the first time, I cried and hugged her and the hygienist! Lol I'll never go anywhere else. They have a patient for life in me. I can't thank them enough for giving me my smile back! Thank you, Dr. Kan!! I also edited to add that I've never had to wait more than 2 minutes in the waiting room. They get you in right away, and Dr. Kan has always been in the room and working on my teeth within 10 minutes of me walking in the door. That's really important to me because I have bad anxiety, and waiting in waiting rooms exacerbates it severely, so I'm very appreciative of how quickly they get you in and get to work! They charged my daughter the full price of a cleaning because they couldn't seem to understand dental was covered thru Anthem Blue Cross. I had to do the work they failed to do and verify her coverage so they can refund her. Every single time there is an issue with not finding her on the insurance when it has not changed. This is why I stopped going there and she will not be going back either. It actually doesn't surprise me since the receptionist did not even know she was covered up to age 26.
