When walking in we were promptly greeted. The restaurant was clean but pretty empty. The bar did have a few patrons who were there enjoying food and drinks, talking loudly. Our server was kind and had a cheerful high energy. It was our anniversary so we hoped for a quiet dinner. We did let her know that it was a special day and she made sure that we were blessed with a complementary dessert. She suggested the tuna as an appetizer, sadly neither of us cared for it. I wanted a bloomin' onion, so we stopped in today. The onion was awesome and the bread was fresh, hot and delicious! It went downhill from there. My husband and niece both ordered steak and shrimp. Both were supposed to be medium rare. I have attached the pics of how their steak came to them. It was gross looking at it. He sent his back and it came back somewhat decent. She didn't bother. Then she was eating her shrimp and I literally watched her pull a hair out of her mouth as she ate one. At first I thought it might have been her hair, but then she got another one. What are the odds? I tried the bloomin' chicken. Honestly, I could tell it would have been good, but when it came to the table, it had a puddle of liquid under it - it appeared to be grease, so it was soggy. My husband went and got paper napkins at the bar to sop it up, but it was already too late. I didn't eat it. I wouldn't order it again. ive been to lawton outback six or 8 times. once dinner was a bit better than average but the last 2 or 3 visits were subpar. . earlier this week wife and i had dinner. i had 8 ounce filet and the second entre was a non steak item with one tea and one mixed drink. bill with tip was $70. credit to the chef as my steak was a perfectly cooked med rare. but the steak itself had a strange grainy texture. worst of all the steak had absolutely zero flavor. emphasis on Zero as it tasted like it was boiled in a plastic bag and had never seen a direct fire. perhaps the weird stk texture was due from refreezing a previously thawed stk. i wont say never again will i visit outback but it will a long time from now, if ever. and my opinion not based on just one bad visit; i think outback steak quality and taste have been in decline for quite some time. if you do eat there i suggest a non steak entre. bottom line--for $70 i expect a decent steak. read more

First the waitresses and door greeter we're not dressed inappropriate attire they set us down, asked us what drinks we would like, and then mention to us that we could play games on their little console they had on the table, so then they left and while I waited for the food, I played a couple games while we were also waiting for our food a woman who looked like a regular person had no uniform. No name tag came up to us how we were and then left, which was strange then we get our food. It was very very greasy. It did taste good presentation was good, but it was very very greasy and then we got a free blooming onion randomly. We didn't know from where and we got our bill when we got our bill, we looked at it and noticed that they had charged us to play their game. They did not say it was gonna cost anything to play games on their little console. It ended up being more than we expected as we like to shop on a budget so that is my situation and that is what happened also, when I got home, I was very very sick for the rest of the night. After 1 hour and 47 min waiting on food we asked to box it up to go. They didn't. Another 10 plus minutes to box up in to go container. Got home and no sauces or salad dressing. Too bad. I'm a server myself, so I have a lot of patience. I mean a lot. The service here however was the worst I have ever experienced. The host was dressed sloppy and whispered the whole way to the table. The server took forever to even greet us and even longer to actually get us what we needed. She made the remark that we were her only table so we had her full attention which was extremely laughable because girl where were you??! I don't know if she was playing games in the back or what but I genuinely have NEVER been more frustrated with a restaurant experience. The manager even came by at one point when we asked for a different potato, and said "if I was on the line I would not have sent that out." Maybe you should do your job then! The drinks were spot-on--perfectly mixed and presented beautifully! The chicken sandwich was an utter disaster and I wonder if the kitchen staff has ever seen a photo of how it's supposed to be made. The piece of chicken was paltry as it was barely bigger than half the bun, there wasn't enough lettuce to make one piece when put together, two quarter sized pickles was a joke that didn't land, the teeny dollop of sauce was offensive, but the tomato slice was nearly as big as the bun although it doesn't balance out the rest by any means. The "loaded" baked potato was laughable as there were barely enough toppings for two bites. The steak was meh, and the macaroni was good until it began to cool down then it was no longer tasty. The sweet potato was perfect. All in all the food was so disappointing that it bordered on disrespectful. Again, the front room staff was friendly, personable, and did their best to make up for the lack of decent food. It was a little troubling to see the manager "fixing" people's checks due to their unhappiness about their food at nearly every table around us. We came in on 2/13/24. Folks we drove up here from Wichita Falls just to get out and get a jump on the Valentines crowd. When me and the wife arrived we were walking up to the front door and we both noticed all the empty seats through the window. This was around 6:30 pm. We came in and were immediately seated. We saw numerous employees walking fast and appeared either very busy or understaffed. But once again, there were not that many patrons in the restaurant. We waited and waited and finally ordered. Then we waited for drinks and bread. We eventually rec'd drinks and bread. Later we were told there was no bread and that they were cooking some. The waitress came by and informed us that when it was ready she would bring two loaves. Again we waited, waited, stared at each other, laughed, and just sat there. Then the waitress informs us that they are out of unsweet tea and that they are going to have to make more. She said the last person didn't care to make anymore when they used the last portion. Where was the leadership? Where was planning? You are out of bread, you are out of unsweet tea? I have a strong feeling that the manager or whatever could not lead a silent prayer. We just continued to sit and sit. Finally the meal showed up. By this time we were just trying to be kind. And no the two loaves never showed up. We noticed a Golden Corral on the way out of town. For a Sunday and having the area basically empty we did not have a good experience as the restaurant was not busy and we thought being Round 1800 we'd be in and out. We did have to wait for 2 others to arrive so drinks were quick it took awhile for the bread to show up. Our waiter was not to blame in regards of service. I did order a cheeseburger Nd when it finally arrived the plate was hot and the cheese was still cold and square. As for my fires they were luke warm and the plate was hot from the heat lamps. My brother ordered a medium steak and it was well done and cold. Never less we were given a discount for our meals but the service and overall food quality could had been better. Went in and was immediately greeted and seated by the hostess. Server arrived within a minute or so to get our drink and appetizer order. Restaurant was surprisingly slow and quiet for a Sunday afternoon, which is why we picked it. The Bloomin' Onion was its standard flavor, which is to say solid. I'm assuming they use a premade mixture of seasonings and a simple prep method. I ordered the Ribeye, my wife ordered the steak salad, and my daughter had the kid's sirloin. Sadly, the steaks were absolutely terrible. The steak in my wife's salad was about half gristle, to the point where I struggled to cut and chew a piece. My daughter's steak was undercooked and extremely bland. My ribeye was a 12 ounce cut, I'd estimate conservatively 1/2 inch thick, and I ordered it blue (very rare) but what I got was again very bland, a gray color with no sear. I've had better steak at Waffle House, for a lot less than $27. I've probably been to Outback 200 times in my life, and this was by far the worst steak I've ever had there. We notified the waitress, who said she'd talk to the manager. The manager didn't deign to come speak to us, but did give us the onion for free. I don't know who's training the cooks here, but they're doing very poorly. Service was good. read more

We arrived at the steak house the day after Valentine's day between 6:30 and 7pm. Unfortunately, it was a Friday, long weekend and a payday. The wait was around 15-20 minutes. The staff were very accommodating, and we were seated at a small two-person tall table near the bar. Our server was at the table as soon as we were seated and took our drink orders and food orders promptly. The food came out quickly considering the place was packed. I ordered the Ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly. We also had a fillet mignon and Lobster which was equally cooked to perfection. Everything tasted good on my dinner plate. I ordered an Old Fashion from the bar, but it was not very good, it had too much tonic water and not enough bitters if any at all. Went into this outback with my son. He took me here for Father's Day. What a treat. We sat at the bar as we got there about 4pm. It was not that busy. The bartender seemed very hostile somehow. Maybe she wanted to be somewhere else. We both kind of noticed the rude. Got our drinks in a bit. We both had the bourbon bacon salmon. We got our salads that were ok. Nothing special just a salad. Our food came out in a somewhat reasonable time. Looked really good. Funny I ordered the same as my son with mashed potato. He got his and I got a full potato. WTF. I guess they did not understand. I will have the same thing. Regardless we ate our salmon. We both got to the thick part of the salmon and it was as raw as sushi. I did not remember ordering sushi for dinner. When the bartender finally came by I explained my salmon was like sushi and I ordered a cooked salmon. She said in a very rude attitude that it is cooked rare. Well I have had many salmon dinners at many outbacks and this was way undercooked. She seemed to be very hostile towards the customers. Hey if your food is not even cooked than they should take care of it and not make excuses for their lack of properly preparing the food to a level that it is cooked. Like with fire. A reasonable time to insure your not getting sushi. After a little asking the bartender finally got my meal back to cook the sushi. It came back cooked.
