This salon has went to shit! I went to get my nails done and asked them to redo the design twice. I still end up with ugly nails and charged me 30$ for the design alone!!! And wouldn't even give me my money back when I told them I don't want the design! They wouldn't work with me at all and told me even if I take off the design I can't get my money back! I love this place. I happen to stumble upon this lil jewel one day in my neighborhood and I'm glad I did! All ladies know that its hard to find a nail shop that you love and even harder to find a nail shop with good quality nail techs. If you are looking for a new nail shop, I suggest giving Wayside a try. I can say all of their nail techs are the bomb but my favorites are Cindy and Kyle. The pedicures are also a treat too! They have about 10 pedicure chairs and even when they are pretty busy, they always try to accommodate and get the customers taken care of ASAP. Tuesdays are their busiest day, they offer 30% offf all nail services. Besides their Tuesday discount, the prices are really reasonable here. I loved this set, they lasted a lil longer than 3 weeks! I had to wait about 10 minutes before a nail tech was ready. I believe his name was Kevin. I told him I didn't want to spend more than $80 on my full set and showed him a few pictures. He took the time to break down the prices and all the up charges, and helped me decide which style to go with. He literally looked at the picture, and got everything to match perfectly. My only issue is my nails only lasted about 4 days before the shellac started coming off. And less than a week my nails started showing. My toes are still holding up so that's a plus. I use to love this place. I moved back from out of town and I notice the change in quality which is sad to say. It seems like the salon has hired a bunch of people who are not properly trained and each person has there own way of giving service. The people aren't as bright and easy going. They are rushed and don't do such a good job. Sad they aren't really focusing on the customer and it seems like the place has become a sweat shop. Just in and out service. We asked for a design on my sisters nails but were told they were not able to do it. I've been here multiple times before the new hires and each nail tech knew there craft. They were creative and willing. After explaining to them a few times what to do they finally did the design how we asked for the first time. It seemed like the nail tech simply didn't want to do the design. It did come out just fine. My partner received a hand manicure and there nails were not trimmed. His pedicure was okay. It's sad because I enjoyed this place, maybe it was a busy day. However I noticeably see the difference in the quality of service in comparison to before hand. My pedicure wasn't the greatest as my nails were cut slightly slanted. My manicure was done by someone who seemed to lack in style or a creative eye. It seemed like they didn't want to work on my nails. But we're distracted with the busy salon. I prefer for my nail techs to be present and willing because I'm paying for there service. read more

I have gotten my nails done my Steven every time and he never disappoints I'm always picky because I'm scared I'll get cut on my cuticles but he's very gentle. I have so much respect for Helen! She is awesome, polite and understanding. Although the lady in front, Tracy failed. I walked in around 9:40-50 and she failed to communicate with me, in telling me there were only a few nails techs. I waited almost 2 hours!!! And still had people who arrived after me and get their nails done before me. I am beyond upset at the way Tracy handled things. Ive been going to wayside nails for years ,don't get me wrong, the manager is very sweet, but a few times that I've gone there has been unpleasant. Ive spoken to her on occasions about the attitude of her nail techs, doing what they like, messing up and she's covering their mistakes and talking loud to you .They seem to think that you pay them and they do what they like and if you tell them about the way you'd like your nails done, your being confrontational. It is already a language barrier to go to this shop, also no one is telling wayside how to do buisness but it's very sad , rude and unprofessional to have loyal customers supporting your business and your response is to go somewhere else. Got my toes done here after a disgusting amount of time since my last pedicure (yay COVID) and a cross-country roadtrip that had my feet lookin' like I had done the trip barefoot. They wassss nasty y'all. Homegirl got my toes in shape and removed all my callouses, totaled $35+tip which given all her hard-work on these nasty feet, was worth it. Definitely recommend! My friend and I decided to check this nail shop out and were highly disappointed. As soon as we walked in we were told we could start immediately and they sat us down and no one helped us for 30 minutes. Then they started on me, I requested for a manicure and a pedicure and was told it was going to be $65 total for everything. I agreed and we began. The pedicure went like normal and I noticed towards the end that the nail tech wasn't using any sterile products on my feet. Then when shifting over to get the manicure, the other nail tech was using products that haven't been cleaned and I could tell the nail file has been used continuously for how white it was. Then she decided to wash my arms with a towel that seemed to be brown and smelled really bad. (I ended up having to deep clean my body because the smell was still lingering on me after we left the nail shop.) My friend got her nails done after I started and she got French tips on her feet and a design on her hands. The design she chose was something that another client had received from wayside nails previously. When she finished getting her nails done, they looked nothing like the photo that she provided them with..(both photos attached) While waiting for them to start on her nails after mine, they left her hands in acetone which caused the flaking of her skin which seen in the picture below. After everything, we stayed there for about 3.5 hours and I ended up paying $95 with no tip for them basically to just cut my nails, didn't even get anything applied to them. My friend was quoted for $65 as well and ended up paying $175 at the end and then the lady at the register was asking for a tip at the end of it all. When we left my feet started itching really badly and I ended up getting an infection on my left toe... I will never return or even consider spending money at this place ever again, I suggest y'all do the same.. read more

Most unprofessional nail shop I've ever walked into. Don't clean their tools between each guest and prices are inconsistent. Paid $5 once to remove my gel nail polish (that was previously put on by their shop) next time they tried to charge an additional $10 to remove the gel, ontop of the $10 to put it back on! "Manager" Tracy doesn't know the first thing about customer service either.
