In the past, even with regular manicures, the UV drying machines were used. Since this was unfamiliar to me, I did not know how long the polish needed to dry. You didn't listen and didn't wait long enough." I came for a refill and the guy cut my set off after I asked for a cut down. I was forced to get a new set. Then they charged me for "long length" when my nails are short? So sad they usually last me 21 days. 5/24- I got dip ($50+10 removal of gel builder) and pedicure done ($47). Jessica was great at doing my dip nails. The dip is on my natural nail. I'm so glad it was not put on super thick like I've gotten it before with someone else there. It really looks like straight nail polish, so cute and clean looking except she did cut me twice on my ring finger and thumb when buffing. Maria did my pedicure (milk and honey one) and she did great too. She actually took her time and made sure she painted my toes nails right compared to the other several times I've been there they misses spots on the sides. It's kind of a drive but so worth it. ONE STAR -- DO NOT RECOMMEND Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. I came in for a builder gel refill and left with nails that were crooked, uneven, over-filed, and sloppy. Tim filed down all of my nails and completely ruined the shape. On top of that, the builder gel was flooded all over my cuticles, which is basic nail work that should never happen at a professional salon. When I spoke up about how bad they looked, Trish, the manager, was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, acting like the problem didn't exist instead of taking accountability. To make the situation even worse, the staff started talking about me in Vietnamese right in front of me, which was incredibly disrespectful and uncomfortable. If you're going to gossip about customers, at least have the decency not to do it while they're sitting there. The only person who showed any professionalism was May, who tried to fix the nails the best she could after the damage was already done. She deserves credit, but one employee can't make up for an entire team's lack of professionalism. This was hands down the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. It is always clean, smells great, and everyone is just super nice. However, this last visit, the pricing seemed a bit excessive. Worse experience ever at a nail salon. My nail tech seems miserable doing her job. She was unpleasant and unprofessional. She barely scrub the heels of my feet. While massaging my legs, she kept looking at the timer to see how long she had left. After she was done with what she called a massage, she asked to take my neck warmer away. Other customers had their neck warmers while having service done but I was cut short of it (she didn't paint my toes yet). The hot towel, I thought she had went to get it to wrap my legs, it was used to wipe down my legs. Not sure if it was the pedicure option I selected. My nail tech cut me a few times but the nails looked good when I left but they did not last. After a week my color powder nails didn't look great. My toes were not great. After a day they chipped. She looked us up and down and walked us around like she didn't even know where she was going. The salon itself was overcrowded and overwhelming it felt more like a busy pumpkin patch than a relaxing spa. The decor was excessive, making it feel chaotic rather than calming. My nail tech was rough and rushed the entire service, clearly more focused on getting to the next client than providing a quality experience. The nail file looked like it had been used on dozens of people before me, and to make matters worse, there was no hot water for our pedicures. I paid for the "lavender package," which supposedly included hot towels and a relaxing leg massage. Instead, she barely wiped my legs with a towel after exfoliating with no real care or attention to detail. During my builder gel session, she applied thick globs of product instead of layering it properly, and when I told her the LED lamp was burning my fingers, she didn't show any concern at all. By the time I went to pay, my thighs were sticky because the exfoliator hadn't been wiped off properly. When I used the restroom, I noticed purple stains on my brand-new white skirt. I politely mentioned it, but they blamed me, saying it was from the "oil" they used even though the oil was clear, not purple. When I asked to speak to the manager, he brushed me off and said, "I'll tell the receptionist." No apology, no discount, nothing. I went back to ask for his name and he smugly said, "Ben -- B-E-N," as if my complaint wouldn't matter anyway. This was hands down the most disappointing nail salon experience I've ever had. If you're looking for a relaxing, professional environment where you feel valued as a customer THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! I'm not a "Karen" I'm just a 25-year-old mom of two who rarely gets time to pamper herself, and this experience was just unacceptable from start to finish. read more
