I was looking for a new place to take my Suzuki GSX650F for it's regular service. My bike is important to me as it's my main form of transport. We all Ride was recommended to me by a couple of people, so I thought I'd check them out. I have found a new home to take care of the maintenance of my bike. I'm really happy. They did a full tune up, replaced the front tire, breaks and discs and rebuilt the front end. The bike runs and feels like new. This shop is super RAD! Richard handles all my needs whether dirt or street. Retail shop is comprehensive and diverse for a small shop, pretty much always has what I need. Rather disappointing. Lots of people rave about this shop. I needed a new helmet, and decided to give them a try. For starters, they have a really small selection in stock. And the selection that they do have isn't even available in every size. I'm not about to blind buy a helmet that I can't even try, so that literally left me with just 2 helmets to choose from, and one of them wasn't a full face (which is the only kind that i wanted). Effectively, they only had 1 full face helmet in stock in my size, which means that I had no selection or choice at all. It was that or nothing. I realize they're not a huge shop, but having 1 model of helmet in every size is not too much to ask. Its not like I'm some unusual size (5XL) that people rarely want. I ordered the helmet, and they told me that it would come in on either Wednesday or Thursday. They promised to call me when it came in. Thursday came & went, and no call. I tried calling them when they opened on Friday (9AM), and the phone just rang until it hit a message telling me to call back. I went through this routine for nearly 30 minutes. Finally someone answered, and they told me that the helmet was delayed, and was supposed to come in by 11AM. They should have called me on Thursday to let me know that it was delayed. Otherwise, what's the point of providing a delivery estimate, if its useless? The staff were friendly & polite, so they do have that going for them. But its not worth the hassle of extremely limited selection and unreliable delivery dates. read more

There aren't many shops like this one left these days. Tons of parts and consumables I've not been able to find anywhere else on short notice (ex: valve stem core removal tools, rim guards for tire changing, various air filters which would fit a GasGas 280). Heading there soon to have them mount and balance a rear K60 on their tire changing machine so I don't have to break out a half dozen spoons and scratch my rim. Glad to have 'em around. Terrible experience dealing with them after buying a new Nostalgia 50 last month (delivered to me November 16, 2020). The owner's son delivered the bike and walked me through the basics- and everything was great until he started the engine. One of the first things I noticed was the rear wheel is significantly out of true, so I told him about it and he displayed a total lack of accountability thinking I'm a novice. Among the things he said about the unbalanced wheel was "you won't feel it when you are riding" and "it will balance itself over time". Rich also told me over the phone that the manufacturer assembled the wheels, not We All Ride. To think that 1) I'm too ignorant to the fact that an unbalanced wheel won't balance itself and 2) that it is completely safe to ride because you "won't feel it" shows a complete lack of character and dishonesty. NEVER SHOP HERE- if I could go back I would have waited for Richmond Motor Sports to receive their shipment of the same bike. read more

What a nightmare. I don't even know where to begin. Long story short, I brought my scooter in fur repairs in late August of 2020. Rich told me he would have it back to me in 3 weeks, which seemed like a long time, but whatever, right? A month went by. I came to check on my scooter. Got voicemail but the voicemail doesn't take voice messages. The voicemail getting just days to try calling again later. Over the next fewmonths I called several times with no answer. I finally walked into the shop and picked up my scooter. Rich was scrambling to put my battery cover back on. This was 2 days ago. Tonight I took the battery cover of and the battery is gone and the wired are cut. Unreal. Don't trust this crook. read more

This place really goes out of their way to make sure a customer is happy. I had brought in a motorcycle tire to be put on another rim I had. Somehow the wheel spacer got lost when I went to pick it up. Not only did they order me a new wheel spacer but they drove outta their way to meet me to drop off a new one, gave me a 15% discount on my brake pads but they also credited me $50 bucks just for the hassle of it all. Update...... I wrote this review over 3 years ago, and had forgotten about the reply that I got from Ted, about my review. I believe Ted was the gentleman with the shaved head who'd been working on many occasions I visited the store. It was him specifically that I felt put off by. He seemed (to me) to have a "cool/tough guy" attitude and I didn't feel very welcomed or like he wanted to help me as a customer. I remember not being acknowledged when coming in and not being asked if I needed any help. Again, this was MY perception of the interaction. Perhaps he was not intending to be that way, but I had similar experiences, multiple times with him. I grew up in a very small family owned and operated retail business. I think I have a pretty good idea of what it's like to work in that environment and the effort it takes to provide customer service. I think the comment he left as a reply to mine is indicative of my experience with him. He felt it necessary to insult me in response to my honest review. I don't write very many reviews, but my experience with him left such an intensely negative impression, that I've taken the time to do this. HOWEVER, I did visit the shop once when there was a couple working, maybe in their 50's, and the service I received was outstanding. They were attentive, welcomed me to there business, thanked me for coming in, and we're very sweet to my young son. They were everything I was taught to be as a small business owner. You treat your customers with respect, be helpful, thankful, and do your best to accommodate their request. You do it for two reasons; first, because being kind to others is the best way to be happy yourself, and second, because without your customers, your business will not survive. I'm grateful I had a great experience here, and I'm bummed I had so many negative experiences because of one individual who worked there. read more

Recently, my son, who attends college in Santa Cruz, hit a patch of gravel, resulting in quite a bit of damage to his bike - but very fortunately no injury. Being from out of state, I checked with YELP to find a repair shop with a good reputation that I could send him to, and was led to We All Ride. Though it took some time to get in all of the factory parts which were required, they did do a great job getting the bike back in working order. I was impressed with their exemplary customer service, and the fact that they were so helpful and forthcoming when calling to get an update (special thanks to Ted). Had a great experience at this shop that I wanted to share. I'm in the market for some new tires, and Eric at the shop was more than helpful. The young woman there was also super helpful, but I didn't catch her name. . .sorry. . Anyway, I wasn't sure what kind of tires I wanted, and picking them is so subjective anyway. Aside from offering his advice, Eric actually took me down to the stock room and pulled out sets of tire for me. It was so helpful to compare the treads, prices, and settle on a set that made me happy. It was much better to pick up the tires, feel them and look at them than just checking out at a tiny photo in the catalog. If you ever wonder why you should pay extra for locally owed business, this is why. But guess what? I also got the lowest quoted price I've found on some top of the line. For those of you who are saavy, they offer a tire appointment where they provide all the tools and stands to remove your own wheels from the bike for them. They then mount and balance for $10 each. Great deal, and a huge convenience for those of us without garages. Now if I could just get a hold of the guy who said he would help me take my wheels off. . . Awesome shop, this is where it's at for all your motorcycle accessory needs in Santa Cruz. Why go to Road Rider in San Jose when everything you need is here and cheaper. This is the only place I get my tires: They've even hooked me up with no appointment on a raining morning when I wasn't gonna make it over the hill with what I had. A great selection of gear, and nicely balanced between dirt and street riding. You won't find many chrome bits for Harley's here, or custom painted gas tanks, or catalogs of chopper frames. But you will find a very friendly and knowledgeable staff that's really helpful. If you don't know what you want, they'll make suggestions. If you do know what you want, they'll get it for you... no expensive substitutions or hard sells here. read more

Well, their selection of helmets went down to 5? 2 dirt bike styles, 1 hog style, 2 sport. I came in hopeful because one of the photos posted had a full wall of helmets! I guess it changed. Considering this is the only motorcycle shop in SC its ok. You can just buy what you need but not much choice for style. They don't carry any Bluetooth helmets but offer to order them if needed. Im used to Dainese in SF and Cycle Gear in Campbell. I'm only here for the gear so other business they offer im not sure. read more

Me and my girl were riding in Santa Cruz looking for this place to buy her a new set of gloves. It was on a Friday and the traffic was horrible. We got there 5 minutes after they closed and were bummed out, but the young gentleman heard us pull up and came outside to meet us and asked what we were looking for. Needless to say he opened the doors and helped my girl find great gloves! That's service! And on top of it he showed us some face shields for her helmet and we returned a week later and purchased that from them. Great service and very helpful people. Recommended completely. read more

I came in for my first motorcycle helmet and was able to walk out with the perfect one despite their selection having been wiped out the previous days. Eric was more than helpful and gave me lots of information about the different brands and sizes, as well as offered to order anything I was interested in. :) Unfortunately, I had a brain fart and I picked up the large instead of the small! My first experience there was an expensive street helmet in 2003. They did not have a large in the color I wanted, so the gal fitted a medium display helmet with different cheek pads, and it felt very good. However, after a 5 minute ride home, it was clear this $450.00 helmet was too tight. I returned within the hour and asked if we could order a large and exchange it. Absolutely not, said the gal, all helmet sales are final once it's paid for and worn, like underwear. Even for five minutes? Even though many other customers had tried on this display helmet as well? Yup, no deal. You're stuck with it. Luckily the owner, Eric, stepped in and agreed to the exchange. He was very accommodating, but the gal was PISSED, flipping me off and silently berating me behind my back (I could see her reflection in a window, but kept that nugget to myself) while Eric smoothed things out to my face. Poor guy. Must have been very distracting having her carry on like that while he tried to repair her damage. Though I appreciated Eric's approach, I decided to not do business with them again if I had to deal with her. Forward four years. I heard the gal no longer worked in the store, and I decided to give them another try. I found Eric's manager Ted to be very accommodating as well. He and Chance took excellent care of me, and ever since that day, their service has been outstanding. I have bought many tires, a couple pairs of boots, chains, brake parts, maintenance items, gloves, apparel, etc. Their prices are competitive, they will order anything I need, and they treat me like a pro. I have become a loyal customer and sing their praises to anyone who asks. Ted has since bought the business from Eric, moved it to the ground floor and continues to provide awesome products and service. He has hired a young lady named Lexi who is a shining star that any retailer would be lucky to have as an employee, perhaps outshining even Ted himself! Bravo We All Ride! I have been shopping at this motorcycle shop for the past ten years and have spent a lot of money that I could have saved online instead. I make an effort to do business here and spend time driving here in that I am a small business owner and try to keep my money in the community. I recently made a small purchase under 50 dollars and needed to make a return. So I kept my receipt and original packaging. I also called the store a couple days prior to taking the time to return the items and told the person who picked the phone up that I have merchandise that was used one time. The items were a fork brace and a pair of over priced nylon tie downs. So i walk in their and tell the store cashier that I would like too make a return. Almost immediately the two women start closely inspecting the packaging and items I am returning. And things start to get irritating. They begin to ask me how long I used the items. I haven't even used them for more than a couple hours. Their tie downs and a fork brace people, not 200 boots that I went riding in and thought they looked funny so I returned them. So I am still standing their being semi imbassesed about trying to make a simple return. So I compared the packaging on the shelf to what I had to return back to the shelf in that the store manager/watever was so focused on the inability to resale the merchandise that she made the entire situation escalate into an argument over some tie downs and a plastic fork brace. I have been doing business professional for over ten years and have made thousands of dollars in purchases and I am being real. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS AS A CUSTOMER. The the only person who had any business/CUSTOMER service experience was the gentleman who owns the mechanic shop adjacent to the parts/apparel shop. Also the younger women was trying to be reasonable but the woman with an accent was the one escalating things and has lost my business forever. She has absolutely no CUSTOMER service skills and I am really impressed that she's still in business. read more

Awesome place! I've been there a few time for a variety of small stuff- new chain/sprocket, oil filters, etc. Every time I've gone in they are friendly and helpful, and always patient with my endless questions. When I've needed to order things they didn't have in stock, it came in 1-2 days. When I've needed work done that was out of my league, they were happy to talk about the pros and cons of different mechanics in town. Not only do they not assume I'm shopping for my boyfriend, they don't talk down to me because of my gender even a tiny bit. It's a great change in the motorcycle world! The final straw for their awesome-ness: One of the screws that holds my visor onto my helmet fell out, and I went in hoping they had/could order a replacement. They pull out a big box of spare helmet-bits and gave me one for free, even helping me get the visor off to tighten the other screws. They could have tried to sell me a new helmet, and instead just helped me repair the old one. read more
