It honestly could've ended so much worse. Thankfully, they were available right away and able to tow us all the way to San Jose, which is where we were originally headed. Lorenzo helped us, and he was amazing--super friendly, communicative, and reassuring during a stressful time. On top of that, they gave us a really fair price. The only thing that dampened the experience a bit was the receptionist who answered the phone. She sounded like an older woman and came across as pretty rude. When I called back a second time because we had lost track of Lorenzo while following him, I asked where he was, and she responded with an attitude along the lines of, "What do you mean he's with you? He's supposed to be towing you guys," instead of trying to help calmly. I ended up just asking for his number. Aside from that interaction, everything else--especially Lorenzo's service--was excellent. He really turned a stressful situation into a smooth experience.

My vehicle was taken to their Watsonville/Royal Oaks yard, and dealing with both the office staff and the tow yard attendant was unnecessarily stressful and hostile. I paid $1,500 to retrieve my vehicle, yet once on site, the yard attendant refused to give me his name, acted aggressively, and attempted to prevent me from leaving with my car after it had already been fully paid for. He became confrontational, behaved in an intimidating manner, and even tried closing the gate while I was inside the yard. I felt genuinely unsafe during this interaction and simply wanted to back my car out while waiting for another tow, but I was still denied access. While dealing with this unprofessional behavior at the yard, I had to call their office again. I needed my car towed to a tire shop and literally had to call their office three times before anyone was finally dispatched. Each time I called, I was told it would "only take about 20 minutes," which was repeatedly not true. It wasn't until that third call, while the situation was actively escalating at the yard, that they finally seemed to take the situation seriously. Once we were finally on the road, the tow truck driver followed behind me. During the drive, I received a call from a random office staff member telling me that I should have paid for the tow before leaving the yard and that my car would not be delivered to the destination until payment was made. This was never communicated beforehand. I pulled over to the side of the road, spoke directly with the tow truck driver, and explained the call I had just received. I asked whether I should pay immediately or upon arrival. He confirmed that paying at the destination was fine and that this was customary. The conflicting information and unnecessary call added yet another layer of stress to an already chaotic experience. The entire interaction was recorded, and I will be sharing the footage with my large local social media following so others are aware of how customers are treated here. Accidents are stressful enough. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding Auto Care Towing if you have any other option.

Patty, the receptionist was very helpful front start to finish. Being that it was a Saturday 5pm, nothing was open, hotels full, no car rentals available. We were stuck, Patty did her best to try to find anything to help but it was a full blown packed weekend. Ended up being a brake issue. Took few days to round up all the parts. I told him I couldn't since I was working in the morning. Guy immediately had an attitude and said he would "try" to get to me in the afternoon, the time I had scheduled. Come the day of my pick up appointment, I wait the 4 hour window I was told the be available, and I get zero calls from the driver. I call up the 3rd party to ask what was going on and was told the towing service said "I was not available" at all today, so the pick up was canceled. Not only did I leave work early to be available during the 4 hour window, but I had to deal with this towing service blatantly lying as well?? My ex boyfriend pretty much stole my car and ended up getting arrested and got my car towed on May…read more7th. By the time I was finally able to get it out which was 3 days ago the tow fee added up to be $1900. The first lady I spoke to was not helpful besides letting me know that I needed a sheriff vehicle release form signed which cost me $132 before I would be able to pick up my car from the tow yard. After I got the nesessary paperwork I went to the Salinas Auto Center location which happened to be a warehouse building that seemed to be decided into separate offices that were all closed except for the garage door that is located right next to the office door. I called the number that is posted again and I asked why the door said closed if its posted online that it they close at 5:00.? The lady proceeded to tell me that they are closed because they close shop at 5:00. At that point I reminded her that it was only 4:15 which caused her to get irritated with me and put me on an endless hold. It's been days later I finally was able to speak to the driver and he lied saying that he's called and left numerous messages. And that I was supposed to meet him on Saturday at 10 which I was never told. So he was extremely rude telling me "now your going to have to wait til Tuesday to pick up your car". ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL- RUDE- DISRESPECTFUL- LIED TO ME ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS.
