When I showed up and found the car in the lot I found it was full of hail damage. Neither the listing or DJ told me about this. The rear cargo area also had old parts from a previous service repair (that was never removed, I took it home with me). After figuring out a deal that they agreed to repair some of the more obvious damage. I was left at the VW store waiting on finance. During the finance process I was asked if I wanted aftermarket warranty, which I declined. As I went to sign on the iPad I found that the pop up covers up what I was agreeing to. I close it and found that Key coverage and GPS location service was selected. I had already stated to DJ I did not want the GPS service. They said it already in the car, implying that there was nothing they could do. It can be removed and I do not want it. But in finance it was on the deal. I had to remind everyone again that I did not want that. Finally everything was off the deal and I was just paying for the car. Eventually, when I wanted the hail damage repaired, DJ told me that the were "weeks out" and I can get a quote from someone local to me and have Tynan pay them. After I sent them the quote from someone I found locally ($1500), they asked If I could have them match "their guys" price($1200). I declined to ask some business owner that I have no relationship with to lower his price. Eventually we agreed on Dec 13th for the hail repair. We dropped of the vehicle around 6:30pm on Thursday night. Their shop does no have a night drop box with envelopes, you just throw your key through a whole in the door. Also, the parking lot is block off so your vehicle is parked on the street. DJ told me when we agreed on the Dec 13th that the repairs will take one day. I heard nothing from them until 4:00pm that the car will be one the following day. We had plans that we needed the vehicle for Saturday morning (Dec 14th). I could not get a clear reason the vehicle wasn't completed or if it was even work on. We have to move around things for Saturday and was finally contacted by DJ at 2:30pm that the vehicle would be ready in 30 min. My wife picked up the vehicle and we found that some dent were not repaired. DJ said, "they are something other then hail". The we owe that we all signed states "repair hail and other dents on hood as well as driver's side front and rear panels". Saying that is something "other then hail" is extremely frustrating and dishonest. They did not repair the vehicle as they said they would and cannot be trusted. I'm not sure if is lack of ability or they just don't care but DJ and others at this store and Tynan are extremely difficult to deal with. I do not regret buying this Tiguan but I do regret buying from Tynan. I have worked at several dealerships throughout my career and it isn't hard to be honest, caring and do what you agree to, while still making money. After Tynan, DJ and Troy were paid they did not make any effort to make it right.

They drove our car obviously quite a bit while we had it with them because the gas tank was almost completely empty , but had we delivered it with over half a tank. They charged 800 dollars over the estimate without calling to get prior approval. The work they did was very half assed, & bad quality. Never got called with updates as the car was in the shop for about a month. I strongly recommend finding someone else. This was a horrible experience for me and my family. (still costing us time and more money because I now have to go somewhere else to get it fixed correctly.) I had to put a one on the star rating. I would've put -5 if i could.

I read some horror stories about blowing up garages and homes from painting cars and didn't know what to do as i had already prepped for paint. I was looking desperately for a safe place to spray my car when i came across an old forum and found a one that said there was a place in Arvada that rented booths. I new it was a long shot for renting a booth as there aren't any companies that rented them but decided to call the number for the Body Works Custom Painting and i left a message stating that i was looking for a booth and to my surprise Steve called me back a few days later. He said he could rent me their booth for a reasonable price and we set a date when i could paint my car. I was excited but kind of nervous to paint my car because i hadn't painted in over 30 years but needed to paint it so i set the date for the rental. When it came time for me to spray my car i got there bright and ready. It was all masked and ready to go but i had my reservations about my ability to paint successfully and got the idea to ask them what they could paint my car and Justin gave me a price and decided right then to have them paint it for me. I figured i would have to come back another day to have it painted but Justin asked their terrific spray man Marc if he could squeeze me in. Marc said he could paint it that same day. I couldn't believe they could do it that day because Justin said they were booked through September. Well Marc gave me an awesome paint job and it came out Beautifully. So to sum up - THe Staff at Body Works Custom Painting painted my old Subaru as if it were a custom job and treated me with great kindness and if you can get them to do your car take it. The absolute worst experience of my life! I have never felt so ripped off and taken advantage of…read morewith a service shop. I brought my 2011 G37X in simply to get a quote on replacing my hood latch since it wouldn't open. I just had my oil changed 5 days prior and there were no serious mechanical issues and I made that crystal clear to them. I worked with Clark and he is a total con artist along with the rest of the crew up to the supervisor. He ended quoting me $900 to replace the hood latch and I politely declined. He then said let me go talk to my manager and see what we can do. He calls me back hours later and says they'll do the hood latch for $600 but now they spotted a catastrophic anti-freeze leak and would repair it for $300, bringing my total back up to $900. Again , I declined because I knew I didn't have a radiator leak from my car inspection from the oil change just a few days ago. I told Clark there should be no leak and he said there absolutely is one. I knew they were full of it. I picked up my car the next day and low and behold, after 5 minutes of driving my car off the lot, it breaks down in 5 minutes while I'm driving 70MPH on I225 and had to pull over. I've owned this car for 10 years and it has never broken down on me once. I talked to both Clark and his supervisor and both denied any wrong doing and said it was my fault for not having the part repaired. These people absolutely sabotaged my car because I didn't wanna get ripped off and then let me drive off the lot knowing my car would break down and hoping I would have to spend lord knows what to get it fixed. I was finally able to get them to repair it for almost no charge because I threatened litigation on them. I knew they were in the wrong 100% I would highly stay away from these people, they need to be investigated for their shady ways. They also gave me an invoice saying it had the tow bill and it was an invoice for doing the work on my car which they said they wouldn't charge me for. I might take further action against these people but we'll see. Totally unacceptable and heinous.
