Having worn contact lenses and glasses since I was a child, I've been to many eye doctor's offices that left much to be desired. This has been my favorite one thus far and I appreciated the professionalism of the provider so much that I've even helped my family members in becoming patients at this location. I had an appointment during CoVID and the process was clean and organized. The waiting area is comfortable and the receptionist essentially guides you to the various rooms for testing once you remove your contact lenses, which is helpful for someone with poor vision like myself. The provider herself is professional, caring, and amicable. As I am a health care professional, she explained the process in medical terms and made the visit more comprehensible. I was given a free trial pair of contact lenses as well and the process to order lenses was extremely easy. Truly, I cannot recommend this office and it's provider's enough. The service is impeccable; they remember your name, what you need-that cuts down on wait time. Also, they are extremely accommodating-because the doctor knew I traveled a bit to be there, she gave me extra trial lenses! Because of all the excellent service and treatment, I decided to order my contacts here-Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism. They charged me significantly less than most places. Although the initial visit at this place is wonderful and the receptionist and doctor are both professional and amazing at what they do.. I cannot say the same for the lady responsible for ordering your contacts/glasses. I ordered a years worth of biweekly and a month worth of dailies. She made sure to charge me for that, but on the day I came to pick up my contacts she completely forgot to order my dailies.. Okay, a hiccup. People are allowed to make mistakes, so two days later I came to pick up my dailies and they ordered the wrong amount. I now have to come in 2 extra times, wasting both my time and effort because of their error. Sorry, I will not be coming back here again. read more

I came in on a groupon because I recently lost my health insurance and ran out of contacts. The place has a great feel about it. Everyone in there seems like they enjoy their job, despite the likely influx of groupon patients. Everyone I talked to asked about my day, and held up conversation, which is super odd for any type of medial office.... or NYC, really. Its all in the details and those details make a difference to me. The doctor was prompt and thorough, and I really couldn't ask for more. This place is worth to go even it's a bit far. Through a Groupon, Eye Exam for Contact Lenses is a bit less than $50. I've paid over $200 for the same service at another place. If you just need a prescription because you are buying lenses online, it's a pretty good deal. The doctor was pleasant and efficient and she never was pushy. read more

I highly recommend this place! I found the office on Groupon, and I wasn't expecting much considering a lot of businesses I found on Groupon have not been great. I was pleasantly surprised. The office is clean and tidy. The receptionist was pleasant and accommodating. The doctor was great. She was attentive and just had a really good vibe. Originally bought a Groupon for contact lens fitting and eye exam which made it super cheap. Most places use the Groupon as a starting point and you end up spending so much more and being up sold. This business is family owned and treats you as such. They did not charge me extra just because they can, and treated me so well. Dr. Mezei was so nice and understanding with my difficulty at placing contacts for the first time, and Kiera spent over an hour training me on the correct way to put them in. They even gave me my first two months of contacts for free!! The entire experience was amazing, and I will go back each time just because the service was fantastic. Incredible experience from start to finish. The lady who answered the phone was helpful and pleasant while setting up my appointment. When I got there the doctor was with a client but I was immediately taken to a room where some tests were done before I saw the doc. Waited a couple of minutes, then saw the doctor. Super professional and knowledgeable but also down to earth and extremely nice. Got my contact prescription and the actual contacts all within 30 minutes. Wasted of my time and money. Stick with your original optometrist. Found this through Groupon so that I could renew my prescription and order my usual contacts. They pressured me into paying more for an astigmatism exam/prescription and changed the brand I usually wear telling me it would be better. Overcharged for the visit, will not come again. When I called to make an appointment they said training is $18, after the eye exam they charged me $40 in addition to $40 astigmatism fee and $41 groupon fee . Overall I spent $121 for the visit. Also they wanted to sell contact lenses for $60 per each eye, whereas online you can buy it for $20 with free shipping. read more

I wasn't charged anything extra but keep in mind that you are charged extra if you have astigmatism and if they have to teach how to use contacts. I came out with a free trial of contacts. I know this place from Groupon. I bought $40 for eye exam and pay extra $40 because I have astigmatism (which they already mentioned upfront). The doctor is amazing! She's very thorough and friendly. I feel like she's the most friendly eye doctor I ever met. After check up, I got 2 pairs of contact lens (2 weeks use for each pair) for free. Then after a month, I called doctor office to email me my prescription, and they emailed my prescription right away. Extremely helpful and professional.
