We reserved our move probably around 2 months prior to our actual move date. On the day we got the quote we were on the phone with Rachel for about an hour. After she gave us the quote and some "discounts" we were pushed to sign the contract without having time to go over it and come up with additional questions regarding our move. When the time to move came around that's when the nightmare started. First, the pickup was meant to be done from 8am-10am ( I am a healthcare worker and came from a nightshift to wait for them) and then they showed up at noon. Once they get there it appears as it's a different company that was doing the pick up, which we were not aware of- we hired we move anywhere, NOT some other moving company. That made us uncomfortable and worried about who we were giving our money to. As expected, our furniture took about 6 days to get to its final destination but that also had its own issues. First, we were told that they would let us know 12-24 hours before they arrived. The driver called us around 1:30pm to let us know that he was going to drop off our things at 7pm. We had to tell him that we needed to reserve an elevator at our new place so we would have to wait. The guy started saying that there were going to be other fees involved, including a "delay fee", when we asked how that worked he was not able to provide an answer as to what that meant. We called his supervisor, who said there were no fees. To clarify further we called Rachel to ask about all these other extra fees, she was unable to answer any of our questions and said she was going to arrange for someone else to give us a call in a few minutes to clarify our questions- we never received a call. How is it that the person who sold us the service cannot answer any of these questions?? This is the same person who blindsided us and pushed us to sign a contract without allowing us to review in detail all these other possible fees. When the driver gets here the next day (already upset because he had to wait until the next morning to deliver our furniture) - turns out he's driving an 18-wheeler. WHERE DOES AN 18-WHEELER FIT?? other than at a Walmart or a Costco? Come on! It's very very very unlikely that they are able to fit that anywhere. So of course, the driver makes a vague attempt and then states that we will need to pay for a shuttle service which could be $300-400 (which btw says $300 in our contract but in another paper they gave us it says $400 and we got stuck paying the $400). Yes, in the contract it says if they can't fit in the truck we would get an extra charge. But it never specified it was an 18-wheeler and that pretty much is a guarantee for the driver to get an extra $400. The only alternative was for us to rent a truck ourselves and finish the move ourselves if we didn't want to pay him the extra $400- seriously? I'm going to finish paying for the services they were supposed to provide me and do the move myself? When the driver finally makes it to our place in a smaller truck, he had no tools. Several pieces of furniture were also missing. Now we don't have a bed or nightstands. The driver reported the missing items and we were supposed to get a call later that day...we're still waiting for it. It's also kind of shady how some things we pay the driver directly and others we pay to the company (which btw also has a different name on Zelle). Bottom line: It is just a bunch of different companies handling the move and vague statements about extra charges. Get ready to be blindsided from every angle if you decide to hire them. We hired We move anywhere thinking they would be the movers. Only to find out they were a broker. on Moving day.. ~$10,000 Price Increase - Bait & Switch We were quoted ~$6,000, but on moving day the total jumped to ~$17,000. At that point, we had no choice but to sign and proceed. This felt like a clear bait-and-switch during a vulnerable time. Shady Truck Loading Practices The crew blocked off part of the truck without telling us. Since we're charged per cubic foot, we asked them to shift items forward. Only then did they claim it was to prevent rain damage--despite no rain being forecast and items being transferred that same day. The foreman also claimed the truck held 2,200 cubic feet, but a standard 26-ft truck (approx. 25.11 × 8.1 × 8.1 ft) is closer to ~1,650 cubic feet. This raised concerns about accuracy. They later said the truck was "full" despite visible unused space (documented in our photos), forcing us to leave items behind and pay extra to retrieve them. We reported this with photos to We Move Anywhere but received no response. Damage & Poor Packing Items were damaged due to poor handling and inefficient packing. TVs were not placed in boxes we provided (one is now unusable due to a bent screen). Boxes had excessive empty space, fragile labels were ignored, and several boxes were crushed. Furniture arrived scratched and chipped. Property Damage The crew appeared rushed, resulting in dents in our hardwood floors and scratches on walls. Lack of Transparency Between Companies We chose Midwest Long Distance Moving based on reviews, but paperwork came from We Move Anywhere (a broker, which wasn't explained). Then we received a bill of lading from Jackson Movers--again with no clear explanation. We were pressured to sign quickly with little clarity on who was responsible. *Deceptive Company* I canceled my service within the 2 days of booking my move. My move date was over 30 days away, but they still charged the deposit via ACH. Now, We Move Anywhere says it will take no less then 60 days to get my deposit back. They charged $1860 deposit and I still haven't received it back. They advised that per contract, they can take months. Unloaded my items in the pouring rain 2+ days late. -Broken items. They don't count weekend days in delivery time. They want to add additional fees for distance to door, etc Rate is per cubic foot in Truck. They will refer you to another company that will be substandard and your items will be significantly damaged and they will not reimburse you correctly per the contract. They will overestimate for square footage and double the price on you. Many of our items were significantly damaged by ESEA van lines who they subcontracted to for our move without us even knowing until after our move was scheduled and we had already prepaid.... The packing people were rude and threatening to us. They showed up outside of the three hour window 3 1/2 hours late. Everything has to be paid via Zelle in cash so there's no accountability or risk. So, we learned the hard way not to use them.The intake agent was a great paid actor. Telling us that everything would be good, that they are accredited, that they had minimal negative reviews, to check the DoT site she sent me, and all of this stuff I wanted to hear. She kept pushing for an ACH deposit and then we finally settled on a credit card. Well, good thing we did. After reading all of the negative reviews, we looked them up and they are not accredited with the BBB. They have many negative reviews and it seems a lot of people have this "too good to be true" quote only to be met with larger fees later. Well, we went to cancel within the 72 hours. We were not told of the 15% fee that would come with cancelling until we tried, scamming us out of hundreds of dollars. This company is borders on legal, but they bait you into signing and then get hostile with you when cancelling. Greetings All, Just want to share my experience on WMA. I received a quote from Brian Green on 7/2/2024. Specifically, for ARTICLE LIST: 42 and 83 on the list for $5585.42 from VA to TX. On 7/19/2024, I was contacted by the manager team to verify my pickup date for 7/23/2024. He stated I might need more space and he has been doing this for years. I told him I was quoted for $5585.42, and I am not adding ANYMORE items. He mentioned he was going to do a price increase and if I ended up not using the space he will refund me my money back. I reiterated that I do not require more space, nor making additional changes from my previous quote from Brian, he responded by saying it was not Brians fault is the way their system is setup. He sent me another contract after the fact, which included a price increase without my knowledge for $7690.01 as well as adjusting the ARTICLE LIST: 46 Items, 112 Pieces. After making the payments, I looked over my contract the same night and noticed the company had more items and pieces to my order without me changing anything, I went from ARTICLE LIST: 42 and 83 to 46 and 112 pieces. I felt like I had fallen victim to a scam, and I immediately looked up some reviews. Upon researching the WMA company, it became apparent that this scam has been ongoing for some time. My Household goods were delivered 7 days later than the latest due date. 3. When I called MWA after 10 days, I was told my household goods would be delivered in 14 days. 4. When I called after 14 days, I was told my household goods would be delivered in 21 business days. New details....business days!! 5. After 21 days, I was told by WMA the shipper would compensate me for late delivery, approximately $50 to $100 per day. 6. The shipper compensated me for 2 business days, at $10 per day! I am a serving military member with over 30 years of service and I have never experienced a worse moving experience than by this deceitful company. We were initially given a low estimate despite giving a very detailed list and they already had the things on the truck when they decided to tell me that the price would be higher. They knew they could do this because I had already paid a non refundable deposit and they had my things loaded. Then, despite what the movers told us, they transferred my goods into storage rather than just delivering them. This was not what had been told to me ahead of time and allowed for another opportunity for things to be damaged or broken. Then upon delivery they demanded payment before they completed the job and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they told me they aren't working today and threatened to charge me even more to re-deliver if I demanded to speak with a supervisor and not a dispatcher. These companies are an absolute scam and run on a philosophy that they know they have you over a barrel with sunk cost. Not only will I never use them again, I will recommend that the military not associate with them or any of the subcontractors they use and am going to pursue legal action for the continual bait and switch that occurred. read more

Should've read these reviews before contracting this awful company... They tailor their "quote" to meet you budget, not the inventory you give them. As such we are out thousands of dollars on our move and now surprisingly can't get anyone on the phone to assist us. Poor sales team selling on price over value, appalling customer service, and despite being told MULTIPLE times the inventory list was incorrect, we're still unable to fix it. Oh and when they tell you that having 5 suitcases doesn't matter and wont be included on the quote, believe the alarm bells going off in your head. Then after pickup their management doesn't even possess the bare minimum integrity to schedule a call with you to work things out. Warning: Avoid Using "We Move Anywhere" Moving Company My recent experience with "We Move Anywhere" has been an absolute nightmare. The problems began with false promises and poor coordination. I am only covering my top complaints there were many more (I could probably write a book). The movers arrived four days late due to poor logistics, not weather or other uncontrollable factors. Unexpected subcontracting and hidden charges were additional issues. We were surprised to find out that the company had subcontracted the work. Additionally, they added extra charges that doubled the original price, which felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. Prior to pick up I tried to go over the additional items to move and moving coordinator dismissed my attempts to address these additional charges prior to the move, instructing me to discuss them with the movers at pickup. Hindsight I should have cancelled the contract. The delivery time was extremely long, taking 30 days for our belongings to arrive. During this period, "We Move Anywhere" offered a small amount of compensation, contingent on signing a broad contract that forbade us from writing reviews like this one. I refused to sign. When the movers finally arrived, the driver/mover immediately began demanding extra fees for various unfounded reasons, including supposed parking issues and additional distance charges. When my husband challenged these demands, the driver threatened to punch him. In an attempt to resolve the situation, I paid the driver, who then tried to leave with both our belongings and the payment. My husband had to intervene to prevent. So Crazy, I do not know what he was thinking. The driver also pressured me to sign paperwork without giving me adequate time to review it, becoming threatening when I hesitated. He did not allow me to assess the inventory before insisting I sign, which I refused. Overall, the conduct of "We Move Anywhere" was highly unprofessional, intimidating, and dishonest. Their behavior made us feel unsafe, and their business practices were deceptive. Today, We Move Anywhere is trying to dodge responsibility by wanting me to contract their subcontracting company and request compensation. The subcontracting offered $200 for their part, which is insulting. I will be filing formal complaints with the Department of Transportation, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS). What horrible service. What a nightmare. There is so much wrong with the process of getting signed up to the actual delivery. I could probably make this into a short novel. They arranged for my items to be picked up with a delivery date of around June 20th. I was informed by their team that items "will never arrive early, maybe a few days late." When the movers came to my apartment on June 11th, they told me they would deliver my stuff within 2-3 days!! (around June 13-14). Concerned and shocked, I told them we would be unavailable to receive our items before June 20th. My husband and I are both in health care with no flexibility. Then I was "reassured" by the movers (who are a completely different company than We Move Anywhere but they dont tell you that) that if my goods arrived early, they would put it in a storage room in the receiving city, free of charge and when you arrive at your destination, someone will transfer the stuff from storage to you. That whole idea just seemed odd to me. Anyway, after my stuff was taken I made multiple phone calls to We Move Anywhere to see where if my items truly arrived early. Every single time I was told "we will look into this and call you back". I NEVER received a phone call from anyone. Every phone call was just a different opinion/guess to where my stuff was and its arrival time. None of their members were on the same page. No one was helpful. Their customer service agents were also rude, Austin to name one of the couple. Oliver was helpful in the beginning only (but who isn't when money is involved). Be prepared to wait long times on the phone before getting in touch with someone. Secondly, they broke our bed. DO NOT recommend this company. Believe me, pay the extra 4000 for your peace of mind. As long as you are pro active and ask a lot of questions when you read the contract, you should be ok. Do your homework on what to expect on delivery and on delivery. Read what additional costs may apply BEFORE you sign and see if they will waive fees or at least help with shuttles if necessary. I always was pro active with them and I did not have any issues with customer service. They were always pleasant with me; both We MOve Anywhere and Cosmos van lines. I was also proactive with where my belongings were located ( air tag) at all times. Knowledge is power for both the movers and me. But very pleased overall read more

It's starts with Rachel telling you 7-10 business days for delivery after pickup then find out it was 21 BUSINESS DAYS (governed by the DOT they say)! And even then, our stuff was late. All the things Rachel told me other companies would do is exactly what they did.... charging more after the initial quote, using a 3rd party moving company, to name a couple. Do not be mistaken, they use a third party delivery service, as well as load your items in a shared truck! I could rant for hours on how horrible it was, it was the absolute most disgusting experience you could ever imagine! When they finally got there to deliver, they added another $800 - mind blown!!! But it doesn't end there, EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED, AND ALMOST $5,000 WORTH OF STUFF WAS MISSING/ STOLEN! Oh, and they insurance they bragged about, $.60/ pound, making the brand new Kitchen Aid mixer that was stolen worth $20!!!! When we called about the stolen items, Hope blamed my daughter, saying they were on the truck when it left N Carolina (which is where the items sat for 3 weeks. Side note, we don't live in N Carolina) so she was somehow responsible???? Let me not forget to add that during the move process and dealing with their lies, I posted a Yelp review and we were threatened to take it down. Needles to say, this was the biggest shitshow ever!! I am just beginning to go after them with this review, and will continue to report them at every available option to me! No one should have to go thru such a horrible experience!! I would be wary of any moving company in the Delray Breach area because this company seems like the type to change names when the truth comes out. The price doubled from $6,000 to $12,000 from the original estimate. The agent reviewed all of our items and I gave exact measurements during our estimate meeting. The day of the move the movers were 8 hours late and we had to fight with them to even come within the 3 day window. The driver said we had additional items that were not in our estimate, which is not true. He also said some of our items were larger than expected. This is not true since I have the quality assurance agent exact measurements. When we pushed back and said we were going to call the company he said "There's nothing you can do." Afterwards, the customer service agent, Austin, was sarcastic and dishonest. He would not give me a straight answer and actually said the extra cost was due to additional packaging materials. This is not true because the movers used my personal packing materials to pack some items. At best is was a gross miscalculation, at worst it was coercion under economic distress. This a simple bait and switch scam. They quote one price then pressure you to put down a deposit (one you will forfeit if not rescinded in 72 hours) to "lock in the price." Then right before your move they requote adding 50% plus or more to the price and you are faced with continuing at the higher price or losing a significant amount of money in the deposit. Not to mention having to start the whole process over with someone else. I was in a position to walk away from the deposit not giving these con artists one more cent. Bait-and-Switch Initial calculation of items by the quoting rep, Brendan, was completely under-coded by the initial quoting representative. Despite walking through room-by-room and describing items in detail, there was a consistent trend of items coded as a smaller item than described in the quote only to be told 48 hours from move date that the items listed are not the items we were quoted. Some items that were described in initial quote were left out of the inventory list despite stating multiple times. The 48 hour confirmation representative nearly doubled the price to account for under-coded items. Ex: item described as large sofa chair w/ ottoman, inventory list says "chair." 2 Large tall bookcases described 6 ft and the inventory list says "open bookcases x2" with no descriptors of size. We described a 4 bedroom house with a garage and were quoted space much smaller than can accommodate that with assurance that the price would be "a worst case scenario price unless we add items." No new items were added, but items on inventory list have no sizes or descriptors to know if something is inaccurate to know to correct it. Confirmation Rep even told us this level of discrepancy would "flag an internal review." However, in the end we were told they had 3 others to get to by 1 pm. We would either have to pay the updated quote or keep it as is and "it packs how it packs, and the rest you'll have to U-haul." No offer to make things right. The "Senior Dispatch Manager," Teresa, called to confirm pick up while we were packing and left voicemail while I was trying to call back. Forgetting to hang up the phone she was extremely unprofessional saying "I don't understand why they don't answer the fucking phone, these fucking dumb-asses." The voicemail recording is saved to my phone and available for reference. Summary: My experience is that this is extremely bad business with bait-and-switch tactic by under-coding sizes of items on inventory list then up-charging within 48 hours of service to pressure customers. read more

On 5/27/24, We Move Anywhere gave me a contract to move my three bedroom home, living room and kitchen for $3854.04 from Vermont to Connecticut, two days prior to my move customer service called me and stated they under estimated my move, I needed to pay an additional $984.00. On the day of my pack out the movers never came, I called customer service and was told that the movers were delayed, that they would be at my home at 8 am, they showed up at 130 pm. When the movers arrived I was told that my move would cost me now $10,000, that I needed to pay $1900.00 before they would start packing me. We sold my house and close on the sale in three days, then close on our new home the following day. Found out that We Move Anywhere is a broker, not a moving company. Expect to pay 1.5-2x whatever your initial estimate is. They'll underestimate to get you to sign and leave a non-refundable deposit, then increase the price every time you talk to them thereafter. We got a call less than 24 hrs before they said they were supposed to be here. Was told 10 to 2. It's 5:30 and they just got here. Poorly executed moving day. Movers did not show up during window period. Show up 2 hours outside of window. After hours customer service have no control over when movers will return calls. Movers are not local they are hours away from appointment destination. Movers are disrespectful regarding the value of customers time and strung us along with times that they knew they could not make. read more

Ok, so I want to make a clarification first; the moving company that did my move were awesome (Logistic Union Inc). But We move Anywhere services were horrible. At first Joann so nice and polite until I signed the contract. Then after that she would not answer my calls. And of course like many on here said my price went up, and when I got to my destination I thought my stuff was in some warehouse waiting for me to call to give them an address but I was wrong! Because I found out that it was still in Denver, Colorado which I thought was ridiculous, then I was told that it could take from 2 -3 weeks for them to deliver it to my destination and that I would be charged 50 cents a square foot for my furniture to stay extra time... I'm like no one told me any of this at all. Then when the quality control person called me OMG that experience was horrible the guy" (Michael) as completely rude, mean but most of all worst customer service ever. This company is THE WORST!! I was assured when booking with them THREE MONTHS PRIOR to my move that they would deliver my belongings safely. It has been almost a month and I have yet to receive my belongings. NO communication from the company WHAT SO EVER!! The only updates I receive are when I initiate contact. I was originally quoted $1909 for a move. I held several conversations via phone with company who went over inventory list including packing. On day of move, foreman shows up contradicting what was originally said on the phone. For instance, employees at MoveEveryWhere stated they will pack my TV if already had the box. However, upon arrival the dispatch team stated they will be held liable and I will incur additional fee if they pack it. Moreover, prior to the move, I was also charged extra fees for packing cost after revision of inventory items list. Then again, the foreman raises cost of packing stating they were incorrectly priced. Original quote increased exponentially from $1909 to $4700 on day of move with the expectation you should pay as they are putting you on a bind. Post cancellation of move, a manager named Dasihaoffered no apologies and absolute lack of disregard for derailing your plan was still trying to obtain my business after they fail to provide the full service in the first place when I tried to get my deposit of $715.6 refunded as her only options were to refund me $100 or re-dispatch another company when full services we're not rendered in the first place. This company is beyond deplorable with no customer service skills, they should be out of business as they are extorting citizens with hidden fees and trying to gaslight customers. Would recommend not using this broker company. Will give you estimate over the phone that is incredibly in accurate and reassure you that the contract your signing will not change drastically with minor additions once movers arrive. I went through with "Rachel" my list of items multiple times and made sure there were no items that I missed for any surprise fees. After multiple reassurances that even if there were any changes they would be small amounts such as couple hundred dollars. Guess what? Movers come and they ask for approx $2k more than what the contract estimates. Just be aware that this will happen to you - I researched more after I completed my move about this company and almost all reviews had similar results of paying more money and sadly many people had to pay an outlandish amount. When confronted about their poor estimate process they really don't have much to say other than it's an estimate - which is fine but at least admit it's a horrible one. read more

only giving 1 star because i cant leave 0. was given a quote and sent in my deposit just for them to triple my initial quote and asked me to sell my sh*t in order to get our stuffed moved to another state. when asked about my deposit, they stated they could not refund me even after deciding not to move forward with their services. on top of the fact that they do not answer the phones they have a bunch of scammers working here. no work ethic and a very shitty way to run a "business". stay away from this company and save your money. we were taken advantage of just 3 days before our big move across the country. read more

This was a nightmare. I recently moved across country from Alabama to Texas. Anyone who has moved or in the process of it knows how tumultuous of a time it is. I went through my inventory several times with these movers and expressed in great detail what I needed transported so that there would be no confusion. When the carriers arrived that were outsourced from We Move Anywhere, there were several discrepancies that caused issues, including an extreme underestimate of cubic footage and misleading information regarding taking down shelves from my apartment. I was charged an additional $2,000! Upon arrival to the destination, another carrier different from the original carrier brought my things to Texas. There were items that were damaged, which I am having to go through a rigorous claims process AND I was charged an additional $700 because they could not fit an 18 wheeler into my neighborhood. RIDICULOUS! This was a nightmare, once again. If I can spare anyone else from the hellish experience, then I hope my review serves as the ultimate deterrent from utilizing this company.
